It was nerve-wracking for me to go through the divorce process. I was having difficulty accepting and understanding why this happened but found calm with the help of Chelsea. I have spent months trying to understand my rights. I have contacted the EEOC, the ADA, the Job Accommodation Network, the EDD, and the CRD. All of these organizations send me back to one another. None have been able to answer my questions.
Oleg was able to answer questions. He turned a 3 month project, into a 40 min conversation. I recommend contacting Le Clerc law for any questions you have about your rights.

Posting class action claims, claiming a solar company is committing fraud to sell arbitration cases that don’t require a lawyer. Contract literally states on front page they the length of contract term and being non-cancelling. They are stealing money from clients they’re not licensed to defend and know they can’t defend. They tried stealing from me.

I don't know where I would be without Traci. I found her when my life was falling apart after an emotional, traumatic, and complicated wrongful termination. She is an absolute bulldog who will fight tooth and nail for her clients. Craig Byrnes is incredible. I found Craig after I sought legal representation after my employer presented me with a difficult situation. He was so responsive, knowledgeable, and clear in his approach to protect my interests. Craig is adept at filtering out ethical or emotional issues from legal issues, and does not waste time on futile matters. He is extremely efficient and does not sugarcoat anything. He is great at client management too, keeping me focused on the task at hand and talking sense into me when needed.
Craig was able to reach an amicable resolution with my employer to end the situation gracefully and rationally. I don't know if anyone has referred to their attorney as a knight in shining armor, but he is definitely that. I highly recommend him to anyone - you want him on your side.

I cannot explain the great help Craig was to me in my case. He picked up the dirty work another attorney left behind, In no time he had answers for me, that he explained in great detail until I was on board with understanding the big picture. Mr. Byrnes served me twice. I first met him when searching for an employment lawyer because I wanted a contract if I was to leave my job to go help prospective employer with their business. I was leaving a highly paid job and wanted both sides to be clear as to what we agreed to. Once the contract was signed and I resigned my other job, my employer refused to pay me what was agreed to in the contract. Mr. Byrnes provided excellent advice throughout the whole mess, was strategic in his approach, and was far more knowledgeable that some of the lawyers the employer hired (employer went through about 3 lawyers before finally settling). Mr. Byrnes got me a big settlement. I cannot say enough positive things about Mr. Byrnes. His professionalism is outstanding. He prepared for the case so thoroughly that no matter what opposing lawyers might throw at us, he always responded with facts and law, so they stopped arguing with him. I wouldn't want to have to be on the other side in a case he was involved with. He always told me the truth, explained the law and how judges were ruling on various points, and he listened to my concerns with great sensitivity. Anyone who has an employment law issue can do no better than turning to Craig Byrnes. Ultimately, he stood strong for me and obtained a big settlement for me.

I was originally trained as a mediator in 1992. I taught conflict management at the university level between 1995 and 2013. In the last 25 years I have participated in a supportive role in dozens of mediations. It is with that expertise in the field of conflict resolution and mediation that I give Karen Sloat 5 stars.
So many attorney mediators just do what they were trained to do in law school-- analyze the case and argue the merits. That often results in the same adversarial contest and entrenchment that gave rise to the lawsuit to begin with. Skilled mediators, like Ms. Sloat, do more than that. They identify parties needs and work to achieve outcomes that meet those needs. They approach resolution of conflict as a collaboration, rather than a zero-sum game and encourage parties to view negotiations from that perspective. These are the ways in which Karen Sloat showed us she is not just a lawyer relying on what she learned in law school, but a mediator capable of applying mediation the theory and technique to the cases in front of her. It is beyond the scope of this short review to comment on Ms. Sloat’s communication and facilitation skills, capacity for neutrality, etc. Suffice to say that if she didn’t have those in abundance too, she would not be the very capable, dedicated mediator I observed during a recent mediation.

Tried to get a phone to call to see if I could hire or see if we would be a good fit. Just wanted to charge $375 for initial consult. I asked if that would go towards retainer and clerk did not know. I was offered email with info that’s generic? Then she said best of luck and have a great day? Not really the type of server I was expecting.
I did not necessarily want to speak with attorney just yet. A paralegal would have been fine. Was willing to sign a retainer so long it was worth pursuing.
Not the best way to sale the firm services.

I came upon Mr. Whooper through a 3rd party referral agency while seeking unpaid wages and Labor Law code violation compensation. I just wanted to take a moment to not only post my highest recommendation for Barbara, but also thank her. When I first started looking for representation, my instinct was to search online. I went to a few interviews with other attorneys , but I didn't feel like they understood the complexities and severity of what I had gone through. They all wanted to take my case, but I felt like a number...as though it was all just dollar signs to them.
Finally after much effort and frustration, I asked one of my attorney friends who he thought was the best in the industry. Right away, he arranged a phone consultation with Barbara. After our initial conversation, she made time to meet with me as soon as possible.
She understood the minute intricacies of what I experienced immediately. It was a very difficult/ painful issue to talk about, and Barbara made me feel welcome and understood. I called Ms. Ekaterina Berman to consult with a case, and she provided excellent consultation even she didn't have time to take my case.
She listens really well. She gets my point immediately, and gets to her point clearly. The communication was very professional and easy.
She offered her professional take on the case and on my concerns, even I haven't hired her. She does not just care about money. She said, to save the time and money, what is the good way to proceed instead of forcing me a case to open and hire her.
Although I didn't end up with working with her on my case, I feel only someone who is good at what he/she is doing can do practice and work in the way Ms. Ekaterina Berman does. Larry's team helped me find a resolution to a wrongful termination case. Sometimes when seeking a skilled lawyer to resolve such matters, you must forgo having a compassionate and enjoyable experience. Not in the case with Larry. He was able to make me feel validated in my pursuit while playing hardball with my former employer. I never felt like he was negotiating with opposing counsel to my detriment. He always had my back. He is accessible and engaged - a lawyer with his heart truly in the right place for us little guys. He has built a team around him that is like-minded and equally skilled.
