Last year I was in the middle of a four year battle with my sister who was challenging our father's Will / Trust. Suddenly my lawyer passed away due to a tragic accident, and I needed to find new counsel. I did a search for lawyers with expertise in settling Will / Trust / Estates. I viewed several websites and when I came upon Ms Rosenthal's I knew I had struck gold. I learned of her thirty years of practice, and that her peers gave her outstanding marks, and clients gave her excellent reviews. I also learned that Deborah was past president, and current vice-president of N.Y. Women's Bar Association, and I was further impressed by her community service. I called Deborah, explained my predicament, and was relieved to hear her compassion, understanding, and optimism to reach a settlement which would honor the intention of my father's Last Will. After our first meeting, in which I gave her the four years of documents, Deborah quickly formulated a proposed settlement.
The first offer she made was so powerful and convincing, that when my sister made a counter offer, the result was a 90% victory for my side, which we accepted, and the battle was over
with dad's Will being fully realized without litigation, and amicably for both sides.

I've been a client with the Katz Law Firm for almost 6 years, on 3 unrelated matters, and all of the fees have been reasonable, with my consent and all services were timely, high quality and with no extra or hidden fees. I referred friends and family who also are happy with this firm. If anyone posts anything negative about the quality service, client care or fees, they are making it up and are probably competition or someone who was trying to do something shadey and the firm didn't want to help them since they don't take on cases if a person is up to no good. I heard them once turn down a large case because of this and was impressed. Thank you Katz Law Firm, and I hope more people leave you the good reviews you deserve!

Clair from this law firm was very rude and I don’t understand how she is working in law firm her communicating with her. Client is very disrespectful. I could barely get a word out because all she wanted to do was hear her voice. I was trying to get a breakdown and understanding of my payments and she wasn’t trying to hear anything that I had to say which I find is very rude and discriminating of my work situation and what I’m able to afford and payments at this time I do not recommend this law firm at all

Elizabeth (Liz) Schmid is the best real estate lawyer I have ever dealt with in my whole life. We had to assist an elderly relative with a complicated home sale in the Hamptons. We live out of state and were working with a power of attorney. We had a timing issue and a bunch of requirements were getting in the way to expedite. Liz went above and beyond the call of duty to make this happen. First, she was nimble and pivoted as needed to meet new deadlines all the time. She also did a fantastic job negotiating sticking points that were a major concern. Additionally, there were countless items not typically handled by a lawyer requiring someone to sort things out and be onsite and Liz made it happen. She also helped us even with finding last minute a contractor to haul items left behind prior to closing. There are tons and tons of other examples like this where any other lawyer would have just not jumped in to help. I have sold and purchased properties in the last 30 years in various states and never have I experienced such top strategy, competence, dedication, problem solving skills and simply put, care, as we experienced with Liz. I wanted to set up an estate plan, and Zvi was very helpful in the process. He explained what assets required a will, and which worked best in a trust. I was able to set up my affairs in a way that I can manage myself for now, and I know that once I am unable to care for myself, or go entirely, my family will understand my wishes. I think what made Zvi such a great attorney was that he took the time to understand what I wanted, and then explained to me how I could get there. I could tell that he cared, but was also being an absolute professional.
