My husband passed from Covid which he contracted at a business Conference. In California, if a spouse passes due to a Worker’s Compensation injury… The surviving spouse receives $250,000 from the board if the spouse makes less than 30,000 a year! I did not meet the income requirement And therefore did not automatically receive the death benefit. Attorney More negotiated a settlement with the insurance company's attorney. Without Attorney More I would’ve received nothing. Attorney More is a very passionate and considerate man who stands up and fights for what is right!

Look no further. I was in need of an attorney when my Workers Compensation denied my case twice. I was frustrated and worried. Thankfully my wife heard an advertisement on a Christian radio station and she saved the contact information. I set an appointment and brought in all my paperwork I had been saving. Then the process began. They started to do what they needed to do. I was assigned a new Dr. for my work injury and the Workers Compensation accepted the claim. I got my surgery and physical therapy. I needed an attorney to take on Keenan and Associates, well known for their history of deny and force settlement. I also had an old case, initial injury in 2007, past time limits for filing another claim due to disability that had spread from my original injury. My 2 requirements were a law office that was Christian based and had successfully fought and won against Keenan and Associates. I found that with Mr. Steve Meline and Mr. Sean Vargas. The staff at their office was always courteous, and I truly did call alot for status. They helped me to understand the laws and what to expect. Mr. Meline came up with a way to put pressure on Keenan and to help create the environment to want to settle in my favor, and Mr. Sean Vargas took it from there, was at all the hearings, deposition and an awesome negotiator! An appeal was submitted to the State Work comp board by their office and the State overturned the previous denials that the Dr's office couldn't even get done. I knew exactly what was happening, what to expect and the outcome was amazing! Due to their experience, both are familiar with high ranking Corporate Attorneys, and Sean Vargas knew just how to work with them on my behalf. We just settled and we are thrilled to be out of the work comp fiasco so I can finally get the right care by my Dr for CRPS. CRPS is hard to prove and very debilitating and painful. We always ended discussions with prayer for the right outcome and our prayers were answered. If you want experienced, competent, knowledgeable attorneys, with the added grace of true faith in doing the right thing, I highly recommend their office! I can't thank them enough for what is an extraordinary settlement! I certainly could have waited to write this review until the lawsuit I'm involved in has wrapped up (I'm a defendant). Hopefully that will be in the next couple of months. But I feel compelled to say something at this point because I want to acknowledge that the way Attorney Moss handles things, the way his mind works, and the way things are explained to me, has helped keep my stress level down, and has greatly abated the angst I feel as my court date approaches, three years into a law suit that I should never have been included in. First , after going through this workers comp ordeal I would not encourage anyone to try and navigate through that without a Attorney !!! Silberman and Lam got for me exactly what they told me they would ! I really appreciate the service they provided. I would encourage anyone to retain Silberman and Lam if you have a Workers Comp case and allow them to do their work and be patient and sleep well cause its going to be worth it in the end !

Well I got injured at work it took almost 3 months to get any compensation from the company and I wasn't getting anywhere so I had to call an attorney.I gave the law Brothers a shot I told him my situation and Elias said he can help me with my case. I worked w/ Dennis Stout as my attorney, though I met w/ Jim first, as his firm came recommended to me by another attorney as "the gold standard" for their services. I could not have been more pleased with the work they did for me, and the results. Dennis and his associates had to follow many paper trails and deal with J&J attorneys that made this particular case a miasma of processes to figure out. I am a physician with work injury and was extremely hesitant to hire an attorney. I made a series of mistakes including self selected a QME physician who refuted the findings of three other physicians (one being a respected orthopedist) and told me my injury was not work related.
My case was free falling off a cliff since a QME physician had made an unfavorable decision. No good lawyer wanted to tackle it. Fortunately, Ryan did an amazing job and saved my case. To make this short,
I came to John, 2 weeks out of my 2nd back surgery, in dire need for legal help that I was not getting from somebody else. Mr. Golchin was my lawyer for a case which a careless driver passed the red light at a intersection and hit my car so badly. My car was totaled and I was screened by the emergency. Unfortunately, the other driver did not acknowledge her fault, initially. In 2014, when I was stranded in Tijuana, MX after escaping political persecution in my home country (long story), I frantically looked for an immigration attorney to seek asylum in the US. I shot off emails to several SD attorneys, asking them questions the answers to which I already knew to gauge their: 1) responsiveness and 2) expertise.
You'd be surprised how often lawyers provide the wrong answers even during the first consultation. No way I'm paying a single cent to any lawyer who doesn't know the law.
It turned out that Mr Golchin was the only who responded promptly AND correctly. Not only that, he PERSONALLY TRAVELED DOWN TO MEXICO just to meet me, and this was before I even retained him. That just goes to show his sheer dedication and willingness to go the extra mile in performing his duties. He left an extremely positive impression so I retained him.
When I was in immigration detention, he worked tirelessly to liaise with ICE officers to get me released ASAP and also visited me personally. With his assistance, I was finally paroled into the US. When the time came to file for a work permit and to file for asylum (I-589), Mr Golchin prepared the necessary form and documents conscientiously and accurately so as to prevent unnecessary delays.
When I had to defend my case in court in Los Angeles, Mr Golchin traveled more than a handful of times to my city to represent me in court. Though not a loud/flamboyant lawyer, he knows the law extremely well, he makes a huge effort to acquaint himself with the facts of your case, and when arguing he adopts a deliberate, collected, yet persuasive tone to convince the immigration judge of his position. Mr Golchin and I have always prepared through Skype conferences or personal meetings right before any court appearance.
Most importantly, Mr Golchin won my case for me (I'm finally a US asylee) at first instance, and the government attorney had also promised not to appeal the decision. I think, after all said and done, this is the most important point. I wouldn't be singing praises if my case had to go to appeal. I've also always felt comfortable consulting Mr Golchin on not only immigration matters but also other legal matters. He has been of assistance to me in legal matters beyond immigration.
In short, I'd highly recommend Mr Golchin for your immigration-related matters. He's the perfect combination of legal expertise and also genuine care and attentiveness for his clients.
