I hired Mr Wheeley to help me with Social Security Disability. He was very helpful and fully explained everything to me before hand and was very patient. He offered to file the initial paperwork for because I was sick with cancer treatments. He assistants Ana and Sarah were great. They kept me in the loop and called to inform me of everything that happened and the progress being made and double checking to see if I completed paperwork that SSDI needed. Let me begin this review by explaining that I had an EXTREMELY rough case to overcome due to an unrelated attorney I had hired prior to Mr. Kelley. My case was also very unique in its level of difficulty in general, so that also added to the likelihood that I would not see a successful outcome. At the recommendation of the PBA, I retained Kelley Law Group and was consulted by Mr. Kelley on a different direction he thought we should take in relation to my case. He was upfront and honest with me in his belief that my case may not be winnable due to several errors made by others and myself prior. He was NOT there just to take my money...he appeared 100% compassionate (Workers Comp really put me through the ringer!) and wanted nothing more than to get me the desired outcome I wanted and rightfully deserved. The following was a very unlikely thing for me to personally do but I was at the end of my rope -- I decided to put every ounce of faith into Mr. Kelley and adhere by everything he insisted we do to give my case at least a fighting chance. His professional/legal advice was a Godsend to me. First and foremost obtaining a FRS duty disability it can be a long process and by no means easy. DO NOT ATTEMPT this alone. Laws change all the time Federal, State and Work mans comp. In 2006, while working as a patrol officer, I had a heart attack on the job. This led to several weeks in the hospital and months of recovery. The City I work for denied my claim under the Heart and Lung Bill. Based upon recommendation from my union, I sought out Paul Kelley to represent me. I did not know it at the time, but this would turn out to be the best decision I have ever made.
The city fought ruthlessly to deny my claim; so much so that at one point, I wondered if it was worth the fight. Paul assured me that it was and he was absolutely right. The city continued to deny my claim and Paul took them to court and won. Despite this, the city still denied my claim and appealed. Paul went before the appellate court in Miami, which consisted of a 3 judge panel. All three judges unanimously upheld our win in the lower court. The city now, by court order, recognizes and is responsible for my claim.
Since 2006, I have had to have many heart related procedures. I had to retire medically as a police officer. Paul represented me through all of this and negotiated a transition from officer to a civilian administrative position, where I presently continue to work.
In 2020, I developed severe heart failure and had to undergo an evaluation for a heart transplant. Paul again represented me throughout this very scary time. Thanks to Paul and his team, I received the medical attention that I needed in a timely manner. Luckily, I did not have to undergo transplantation at this time and am continuing to receive medical therapy.
I have had the need for an attorney more than I have ever imagined that I would. I can tell you, Paul is an absolute expert pertaining to the Heart and Lung Bill and Worker's Compensation. Above all else, he is one of the nicest and most caring people you will ever meet. He has put together a team of experts. Connie, Barbara and Kristin are the best! During this recent transplant scare, they worked late hours and did whatever it took to make sure that I got what I needed medically. You absolutely cannot go wrong with choosing Paul to represent you. 14 years after choosing Paul, I still say it was the best decision I have ever made.

Terri took on a tough case with a life altering, and devastating injury. I am a lawyer who does not practice in this area of law. My Husband hired Terri when he had a work injury (falling off of a ladder while installing OSHA safety equipment of all things) he was off his feet for 12 weeks while the doctor’s reconstructed his leg. These injuries will last a lifetime and mean limping, pain and future surgeries. It looks like an erector set from childhood holding all those bones together.
Terri and her firm kept us informed, and advised of his rights. She championed his case even through the covid lockdown and the corresponding slow down in the courts. I was injured on the job and pushed into Workmen's Comp. At the beginning I believed the system was on my side.
After 9 months and denials I pursued legal action. I was given Jane Wender as a referral from a neighbor.

Mr Smith is by far the BEST lawyer I have dealt with in every aspect of the way. Between his values on client satisfaction and his dedication to his cases on an individual bases shows that not only is he a very personable man but a highly professional one as well. Divorce isn't easy, but I came out of this experience feeling way better than I did because of the fact I had Mrs. Kathy Dupuy-Bruno as my lawyer. If you're looking to hire a lawyer who is dependable, smart, and understanding, she's the one to have by your side. From the beginning until the end, Mrs. Dupuy-Bruno and her staff were amazing. All my questions and concerns were addressed on time and I was given great counsel on how to improve my case, and incidentally my family's life too. Resources on how to cut cost were made readily available and she made it easy to submit paperwork. We had to go to trial and when those days came by, she was just as reliable. She was prompt and knowledgeable, which made me less nervous and in turn gave me confidence in the outcome of my case.
Overall, Mrs. Kathy was outstanding. A situation that could have been chaotic and very stressful, went smoothly because of Mrs. Dupuy-Bruno expertise and empathy.

I was going through the most difficult time of my life. I hired Kathy for a domestic violence case and I have to say she was well organized and prepared for my case. Mrs. Dupuy Bruno is an awesome attorney who goes far and beyond to prove her point in a case. In my situation, the father of my children was arguing against his child support increasing. In preparation for court, Mrs. Dupuy Bruno shared with me research that she had viewed that was similar to mine. From her going far and beyond, it allowed me to know that she cared about my case and that she was going to do all that she could. Not only that, but she continued to keep me posted. Attorney Scully was very knowledgeable and experienced with Work Comp claims. I so appreciated that I could have a phone appointment at my convenience. He listened to all my concerns. If we had any questions on the process or what something meant he had a way of using layman's terms that made it easy for us "non lawyers" to understand.
