I hired Adam Werner when I was seriously injured at work. Before I found him I had almost given up trying to fight Workers Comp. I couldn't get medical care, couldn't work, was barely able to walk, and wasn't receiving anything from my job or Work Comp. Within a week or so if talking to him and hiring him to represent me I had doctors appointments, rides to and from when I needed, and started receiving indemnity benefits (pay checks). It was a nightmare before he helped me. Work Comp does everything they can to give you the least amount of care and spend the least amount of money helping injured workers. If you need somebody to fight for you that knows the system and how to use the law to force comp to take care of you talk with Adam. I was able to reach him 7 days a week when I needed to and he was always there. Adam and his long time Paralegal Linda are an awesom team. It was our great fortune that Mark Weinstein came into our life. Mr. Weinstein led us through the legal consequences of the unnecessary loss of our 23- year -old daughter from medical malpractice. 5 different doctors , many nurses and the hospital were responsible for letting her die. After 3 years of unbelieveable preparation and presentations by Mr. Weinstein, we were victorious on all counts.
We had the choice of being invoved in the process as our emotions would allow. He was respectful of our feelings and we could not have endured the process with out the human touch we recieved during the darkess time of our lives.
You often hear about the monies that attorneys make in these cases. He deserverd and earned every dime he was paid. God Bless Mark and his family!

They took my case because they said it was" the right thing to do. " I didnt know what to expect from a case like this. You can read her diligence in this case in her exceptions to the court at Florida Department of Administrative Hearings by searching her name. This case was taken to the 1dca. We were the prevailing party. You can watch that court proceeding at 1dca and again,search her name. Ms. Sharon Proctor esq. The appealate attorneyand Jenna handled the case. What a team. I could say a lot of nice things about the two but the proof of her qualifications are in the case.
Ive seen reviews that were simply a bunch of lies or perhaps the Attorneys write them to look impressive here. Dont believe everything you read. Review cases.
If you want to win your case,hire her or anyone at Avera & Smith. You wont regret it.

My personal injury case was handled with Mike Cecere a trial lawyer with 20 years experience. His ability was what I had hoped for..
There are a very small percent of trial lawyers to achieve being board certified that was impressive.
He took depositions from employees and witness .
With the witness the sworn statement was not enough ..he then went and traveled to another state to take the deposition.
He told me he finds them and travels when they have moved and
had made contact in this case to get an employer to allow use of a room at end of the work day.
Very impressive guy .. he took time to always call back or email in trial when he wouid be in the office to talk. The office was always available to meet . The office staff is excellent.
In a few words found his experience showed , was in good hands and he was to handling the case himself , the insurance co. knew he was a personal injury attorney that went to court ..that was also great.

Mr. Thompson took my case when workers comp would not help me to get proper medical treatment. they were dragging their feet to even get me standard medical care. They asked me why did you get an attorney? Answer because I needed one. they will treat you like crap until you do get one sad to say. After John got involved I was able to get the care that I needed. He was a comfort to my fears and also a voice for me. He fought for me every step of the way and he cared.
