I hired Ruth upon first speaking to her because she didn't lie to me and tell what I wanted to hear or was expecting to hear except the truth of my case and situation and what to expect. Had an accident that wasnt my fault. Was getting the runaround from the other person and their insurance. From day one she was on the case. I have known Mr. Loftin for six years now. I first encountered him while working as legal secretary at a Law Firm where he practiced. I found him to be astute, respectful and dedicated to his work. Who would have known that I would one day have to call on him for his services. My daughter had an issue on her job and was wrongfully terminated and denied Unemployment Compensation. Mr. Loftin was the first person I called. He listened. He responded promptly and gave us expert advice on how to proceed. They took my case because they said it was" the right thing to do. " I didnt know what to expect from a case like this. You can read her diligence in this case in her exceptions to the court at Florida Department of Administrative Hearings by searching her name. This case was taken to the 1dca. We were the prevailing party. You can watch that court proceeding at 1dca and again,search her name. Ms. Sharon Proctor esq. The appealate attorneyand Jenna handled the case. What a team. I could say a lot of nice things about the two but the proof of her qualifications are in the case.
Ive seen reviews that were simply a bunch of lies or perhaps the Attorneys write them to look impressive here. Dont believe everything you read. Review cases.
If you want to win your case,hire her or anyone at Avera & Smith. You wont regret it.
Jenna also handled my auto accident case and i have refered her to friends that seem to be very impressed with her also.

My personal injury case was handled with Mike Cecere a trial lawyer with 20 years experience. His ability was what I had hoped for..
There are a very small percent of trial lawyers to achieve being board certified that was impressive.
He took depositions from employees and witness .
With the witness the sworn statement was not enough ..he then went and traveled to another state to take the deposition.
He told me he finds them and travels when they have moved and
had made contact in this case to get an employer to allow use of a room at end of the work day.
Very impressive guy .. he took time to always call back or email in trial when he wouid be in the office to talk. The office was always available to meet . The office staff is excellent.
In a few words found his experience showed , was in good hands and he was to handling the case himself , the insurance co. knew he was a personal injury attorney that went to court ..that was also great.
Mike works great with a case.

After my adult son was in a near-fatal fiery crash, Mike Reese was outstanding in representing him for Social Security benefits, quickly moving his case to a successful SSI hearing.
I was unaware the action of the Social Security Administration from the hearing to actually awarding benefits could take many months. However, when evaluating the attorney who put the process in motion for the client, I could have not been more pleased than I was with the Michael Reese Law Firm.
Unfortunately, after his approval, my son had a misstep which could have caused him to lose all benefits, but Mike immediately filed an appeal. He successfully explained my son’s misunderstanding and had his benefits reinstated.

I am genuinely shocked by the disparity between the glowing reviews I read and my own experience with this firm. Unfortunately, my first interaction with a lawyer has left me feeling completely disillusioned and hesitant to ever work with one again. After seeing numerous positive reviews, I chose this firm, but my experience has been far from what I was led to expect.
I was initially told that my case would be quick and straightforward. I wasn’t filing for bankruptcy, just seeking assistance with a settlement. However, after two months of paying for services, my case had not even been started. I received constant excuses about staff being in and out of the hospital or unavailable due to meetings. I requested an in-person meeting with my lawyer, but every time I was told he wasn’t available or there was another reason for the delay.
Communication was another major issue. I had to send multiple emails, often waiting more than a week for a response, even when I explicitly asked for updates. I was constantly reassured that my case was being worked on, but I never received any substantial progress. One of the key reasons I wanted to meet with my lawyer was to discuss and fill out my client forms, but I never had the opportunity to meet with him directly. Despite this, I was told my settlement was being processed without my completed forms or even a conversation about my questions.
At this point, I feel completely misled. I never once spoke with my lawyer, and my case seems to have been ignored entirely. Given my experience, I’m left questioning the legitimacy of this firm and have reported my concerns.
I strongly urge others to be cautious when considering their services.

I was in 2 automobile crashes in 2011, neither of which were my fault. Both parties were found at fault. I was injured in both of them, but the second was much more serious. I found Don by searching on the web. There was no way I wanted to hire one of the attorneys who inundate our airwaves. Don's site is very informative and easy to understand. After talking with him after my first accident, I was impressed that he does virtually everything himself. He did a wonderful job taking care of everything. I had only been released from my accident 2 weeks when I was struck by a car that ran a red light. I again called Don to represent me. I won't go into any details of injury or settlement, but I do want to say how pleased I was with Don. He stayed on top of things and answered my emails promptly. He would even answer if he was out of town to let me know he got my message and would get back to me about an issue as soon as he could. What else can I say?
