About a year and a half ago, I was hit by a car, as a pedestrian in a crosswalk. A family member encouraged me to reach out to a personal injury attorney to get repercussions since I was not at fault. The recovery process has been incredibly difficult, but it's been much easier since working with Joe Rome and the team. I appreciate how quick Joe is to respond. I have used Steve's firm on 3 different personal injury claims for 3 separate auto accidents. Steve and his team are extremely professional and compassionate. Mr. Gorton came highly recommended by a mutual acquaintance after I was seriously injured in a multiple vehicle collision. I had been struggling to navigate the insurance morass for more than a year before discovering my injuries had not been correctly diagnosed following several visits to doctors and dozens of painful physical therapy sessions that were making some things worse.
Once Mr. Gorton was on board, I was able to take a welcome break in not having to deal with this very confusing and frustrating issue as he took control of the case allowing me to focus on recovery. This gave me time and freedom to find a doctor who finally figured out underlying issues leading to multiple surgeries and more PT without the pressure from insurance companies to resolve the case quickly or continual questions about progress that seemed "too slow" for their company processes.
Mr. Gorton's extensive legal experience and deep understanding of the insurance profession led to a positive outcome. He used several specialists to create medical, financial and historical reports in preparation for court, which ultimately convinced the at fault party's insurance carrier to wisely settle pre-trial.
I appreciated his pace, counsel, reassurance and patience in dealing with court and insurance. His calm demeanor and tenacious advocacy were a huge plus.
This case began well before Covid hit, continuing through many months of court closures and slowdowns. He was there for me and my family every step of the way.

This review is long overdue. The Elsner Team went above and beyond in my case and helped my son and I settle for much more than expected. From the moment Attorney Menzer took my case — auto accident, medical and other costs pursued by the other driver — I felt that I was in good hands. He was professional and pleasant, knowledgeable so that I knew from the start what the likely outcome would be as well as the appropriate paths that would be taken to reach that outcome. He did not need to spend a lot of time on my case because he knew what he was doing and was, therefore, extremely effective (successfully encouraging my insurance company to agree to settle for my maximum insured amount — the company was threatening to push for much less, possibly landing the case in court). We had a complicated case concerning a nursing home, so we went to several lawyers concerning this case. We were not impressed by any of them. Not until we met Matt Menzer that we knew instantly that he was the cream of the crop. He was by far the best!! Matt was extraordinarily intelligent, extremely knowledgeable, and also very likable. He was a good listener, communicator, and he explained things in a way that we could grasp and understand. When it came time for me to seek out the advice of an attorney, I went to Bill Reinig. Bill is highly experienced, knowledgeable and, most importantly, his focus is on helping his clients and not how much he can charge per hour. On a one to ten scale, I'd put Bill at a 15. If you need the advice of an attorney and it's within Bill's area of expertise, I would strongly suggest you consult with him or one of the other members of his firm. Working with Khan Injury Law on my personal injury claim was an incredibly frustrating experience. For nearly two years, communication was almost nonexistent, and progress on my case was completely stagnant. Jennifer Puckett, the Senior Paralegal assigned to my case, never followed up with me—not once. I had to reach out to her every single time, and each interaction felt like pulling teeth.
Whenever I contacted her, I was met with vague excuses and told that “nothing was happening” with my case. It became clear that they were either completely incompetent or outright dishonest about what was going on.
After nearly two years of wasted time and constant frustration, I finally transferred my case to another law firm. The difference was immediate—the new firm acted quickly, communicated clearly, and resolved my case efficiently.
