Cohen Law is absolutely the best. Patrick was assigned my case and in a week had a resolution with the insurance company. Lacking in follow up with communication.

Absolutely TRASH "LAW FIRM". I am reporting them to the FL attorney general for deceptive practices. They are working with scam roof companies to sue Homeowners Insurance. THIS IS WHY FLORIDAS HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE IS SKY HIGH

I did better representing myself and my best interests were not protected. Response to the reply 2/24/23 First off the firms response is called plausable Deniability in an attempt to deflect the poor representation away from the firm,second if you feel these are false statments. That means no attempts were made to investigate your attourneys actions. Gaslighting clients while not provinding counsel and or proper repesentation is cowardly and spineless. reprwsentation that there is no integrity in this firm as I have time lines and email chains to prove other wise. I was referred to Cohen law because of Sean Shultz but when Sean left my case was transferred to Mindy Mclester, that is when things started going down hill from there. she did more to help the insurance company then me and negotiated after 2 years of wasting my time a very pathetic deal . That left me with no loss of use, no contents and roughly about $21,000 short of my total rebuild costs. But she secured her paycheck in full from my insurance company. she then told me after 2 years of talking about going to trial that they were not the company to go to trial. when I said this was unacceptable she filed a motion to be removed from as my attorney. Which I gladly agreed to. This was after 2 years of many un returned phone calls, e mails and leaving me in the dark for months on end. the only thing they accomplished in 2 years was petitioning the court to force UPC to assign some one to the claim. I consulted with 7 different firms after this and all said " there is not enough time left to represent me on this case" one even said " there is not enough time to undo the mess this attorney made of your case" I ended up dropping the lawsuit and locking UPC into an appraisal agreement. I am now recovering all of my contents all of my loss of use and the full costs of my build back. I have also hired a real attorney to address the fraud that UPC was engaging in. every time portions of my claim were denied a property investor would call me the very next morning with detailed information of my homes interior damage. once I made the connection between my insurance adjuster, an attorney for the investment company related to my adjuster and the investor who graduated the same year and same high school as my adjuster Mindy dismissed this as nonsense. she also made the comment that judge Naberhouse was not going to acknowledge the Florida made whole law when I brought up the negligence of my mortgage company. This has now been now been acknowledged by the appraiser and mortgage company. The following is a copy of Mindy Mclester's profile from the Cohen law website. They only care about their paycheck they did not care about the damages this caused. I lost everything including my family, my dog, my college tuition as a state employee because of the financial hardships this claim has caused.I have never seen such a lack of professionalism. If you see the red flags with this law firm, find another firm asap and don't make the same mistake I did.
