I used them for 3m settlement and communication is terrible and keep getting same generic email as everyone else. I know several people I served with that used different lawyers who have been paid and have higher fifo numbers than me. Idk if they are just banking on people and collecting interest but I think it’s crazy to get paid what they do and not take care of the veterans who the represent. Update: law firm was paid now saying have to wait 4-6 weeks to get distribution letter. Been 4 weeks and no word from them Go figure Going to stretch it as long as they can

After completing all the required forms and documents for the 3M settlement with AWKO I have been given quite a bit of run around. The communication with the firm is very poor and should be a little better than what they are providing to myself as well as other veterans. The information they provide to you is different from what you can research and definitely different from what is listed within your account on the Combat Arms Earplugs Settlement website. The website provides all things that you may need to know in reference to your claim/case but then you login to your Caselocker account and information is misleading. According to BrownGreer funds were paid to AWKO EPP Initial payment issued 5/8/2024 Also states that the earliest payment date is 4/15/2024. I have not received anything from AWKO. When I messaged them asking for an update I am provided with a generic response. I was told I would receive my distribution statement 30 - 60 days after signing the Medicaid forms, I did that on 4/5/2024. Now it’s you must wait 90 days. Honestly the communication could be a bit better, instead of giving generic responses. **UPDATE** June 11, 2024 Received an email from Rebekah from the law firm stating that the process can take 90 days from the time the Settlement Administrator releases the funds to them not when the completed Supplemental form is sent. Their responses continuously change and they are so generic. The responses from the AWKO law firm do not match the information provided on the combat settlement webpage (Brown & Greer).

Scammers. Told me I could get 350k to get me motivated to jump through their hoops, then after 3M awarded the funds, now it looks like I’m walking away with 7500. Told me I would pocket 16k at least but they kept half of that. Also they did not explain why I wasn’t qualified to receive the additional funds I was told I would get. Some veterans got millions for less injuries than me. Doesn’t make sense and is a total scam.

My name is kevin gentry and I’ve been lied to told different stories about when my DS is coming I’m tired of waiting this has been going on since 2019 I just what they owe me they have been paid millions I don’t think my little settlement will hurt them ! They keep holding up my money so they can make more money ! Update they called me said they would call back guess what they never called back I even reached out to them again and they never replied this law firm is a joke and should Be investigated by the federal govt !

I find my current situation quite frustrating. My primary concern is the need to continually contact your law firm for updates, rather than receiving proactive communication from your end. The settlement administrator sent the funds for my case on May 1st. However, although my Notice of Final Expedited Pay Program Award Determination form was completed on March 22nd with a reconsideration deadline of April 22nd, this form was not uploaded to my portal until April 25th. I am very disappointed with the lack of communication and the absence of clear answers regarding my case's status. The responses I receive are merely generic emails, which do not address my concerns.

Having AWKO as my representative in the 3M lawsuit is one of the worst mistakes I ever could have made handling this situation. The blatant disrespect this law firm has for us veterans is beyond insulting. They refuse to talk to you. You call the 3M team, you get sent to the voicemail. You leave a message and they ghost you. You email them and they still don’t reply to you. I’ve filled out all my paperwork in my case locker. My FIFO ranking falls within the cutoff for the first payment as referenced in their latest “update”, but I’ve still received no Distribution Statement so I can confirm how I want to receive my money. Hell that update video was posted 8 days prior to when they emailed it to us. In all honestly, AWKO deserves to be slapped with a class action lawsuit of their own for how they’ve treated veterans during this process. They are extremely unprofessional and how they’ve handled this case is completely unacceptable. Nothing but a bunch of greedy leeches feeding off of the suffering of veterans who have already given more than they should have.

Horrible 3M representation, no responses, I think all veterans should stay away from these people. They told me in December that payments would be in February the March now they're string me along and have not even sent notices to the courts (yes I called and verified) I think I am putting in a complaint to the bar over all this.

Besides the strange parking, then having to walk to the front of the building ,just to read a sighn that says ELIVATER IS OUT. The attorneys office staff were very nice. I have M.S and can't do stairs often, but I pushed through. Hopefully they get it fixed by the time my next appointment. HAHAHA

As far as I can tell, this law firm is handling thousands of cases. They are sending out text messages and emails with videos that are meant for thousands of people and there is zero individual assistance. They have places to login where the login never works and I have no idea what is going on with my case. There should be a limit to how many cases any individual law firm can take on. They are charging each client individually, and a lot of money, but there is zero individual attention. The only people that will make out on this 3M lawsuit is this lawfirm.

I really wish I could leave 0 stars. This lawfirm is the absolute worst. I been calling and leaving voicemail messages and have yet to receive a call back. They NEVER answer the phones so you can't ask a simple question. This 3M thing has been settled and yet Noone can get any answers about what's going on. I really wish I had gone with someone/anyone different!!! This is beyond ridiculous!!!
