Mr. Burns came to Baldwin County to Bay Minette AL. to represent me in my Felony case. He used his extensive legal knowledge and exercised my rights in the judicial system. Case DISMISSED! I highly recommend him! The best part...his rate was more than reasonable.

Complete joke. Terrible attitude. Paid 5k to be represented in a case that I had already done the legwork on and he still couldn't produce. Then he had the nerve to ask for a good google review. Take your money elsewhere.

James Burns took my money, which was thousands, then claimed “indentured servitude” to remove himself from my case. I paid a trial fee, we did not go to trial, he hasn’t returned the money. I will be contacting the BAR association about this matter.

I had a offense that I was extremely nervous about. The initial greetings and contact I was able to get on the first phone call, I felt so comfortable with leaving my things in his hand. His office staff is so pleasurable and gets things done! You can count on them to be there and the Attorney can legitimately get back to you within 24 hours. Nothing better to say but excellent outcome and service.

This is my story that I hope all read. I went to see Mr Burns about getting temporary custody of my granddaughter. I knew of Mr James Burns from my son who also had used Mr Burn in a custody dispute with his child’s mother. Mr burns did such a great job with my sons case and won him full custody of his child, that I knew I wanted to use him. I lost my son in November of last year and I knew I was going to have to get an attorney to try and get temporary custody of my granddaughter. Her mother had been in and out of jail due to drugs and was In a rehab. facility in Birmingham Al. and wanted her daughter with her there at that facility that allows children. I knew I didn’t want this for my granddaughter. I had raised her since she was a year old with my son and I didn’t want her living in a drug rehab center that her mother had been in and out since she was a year old. And I knew Mr Burns could help me. I was scared that I didn’t stand a chase since I was just the grandmother and her mother was getting help that the court wouldn’t grant me custody as I was just a grandmother. Mr Burns went to work right away and put his skills to work and he won me custody of my granddaughter. I can’t tell you enough how happy I was. I think sometimes I might have drove his staff crazy calling them for different things that popped up. They went out of there way to help me and made me fill like I was family. Never letting me down are putting me off. I would recommend Mr Burn for any legal matter you have for he does such a fantastic job. Don’t look any further for an attorney. Hello Everyone, I was a little afraid of going throuth with my situation because it was a so called "family member" whom, I was eager to discuss the situation with, before we went through this; With that being said, that family member would not answer my calls nor my texts. However, my intentions were to resolve the problem without going to court; but this particular family member was not wanting to. So, when Attorney James M. Burns assured me that I would win, that's exactly what happened. Attorney James M. Burns is the best Attorney to help with any legal matters. My case was about property.
