Steven was great to work with. I had a crypto tax issue that Steven was able to review and resolve. I on my own would not have been able to navigate this issue with the IRS and State. Having a trained expert work on this was such a relieve. The case took longer than usual due to the pandemic. Steven made sure to keep me updated during the entire process with phone updates. We were able to get a favorable decision. It a big relieve and win for us.

Going through a difficult and stressful period in my life where my finances were becoming too overbearing to deal with, I felt my only option was to file for bankruptcy. I called a few law firms and actually met with a local attorney who I felt didn't have much experience led me to look for attorneys further away. When I called the Liviakis Law Firm, I was quickly connected to Laurie, who was very pleasant and understanding. She made me feel like she cared and immediately wanted to help me. She was able to book an appointment that same day. Not sure what to expect, Mik was very compassionate and showed great knowledge in Bankruptcy Law. I visited a couple different BK Lawyers. But it was Mikalah that was referred to me by a lawyer that was retiring, and said he'd hoped to pass on his practice to Mikalah because of his skill level. Anyway true he wasn't the cheapest I talked to but when your talking BK, that's nothing I want to get cheapest deal when we're talking this magnitude of an issue. His professionalism was outstanding, and preparation was acceptional. I'd highly recommend him. Even the judge was impressed with his oganization.

We had an unusual bankruptcy issue, and we felt as if we were doomed, in spite of the benefits of the Bankruptcy law which is intended to give debtors a fresh start.

I would highly recommend Attorney Neil Crane, especially in the area of real estate Foreclosures, where his talent was utilized. Within the last 40 years, I have retained no less than a dozen attorneys from Connecticut to Washington, D.C., one of whom successfully represented me in a Connecticut “Supreme’ Court” case. During those years I found only one other attorney that stacked up to Attorney Neil Crane’s ability and tenacity. He was a labor attorney in Washington, D.C. with an AVVO rating of 10.0.
Attorney Crane brought a foreclosure action (on my wife’s and my behalf) within the speed of light (that’s 186,000 miles per “second”)!
Along with other tactics, he legally finessed the other side to settle our issue in a most favorable outcome. He is an example of pure work. Since “a lawyer’s time is her/his stock in trade,” it is important to the client’s wallet to retain an attorney who not only is extremely expert in her/his field, but also possesses a tireless work ethic and most importantly---has a high degree of integrity. Neil Crane and his team are the best. I was forced into signing my mother into a nursing home. They told me only my mothers assets would be affected. They lied they took her house and wanted mine as well even though my mother had nothing to do with my house. My husband had a heart attack and other things that caused him to be disabled and not be able to work anymore. My job after 30 years was outsourced I got behind in my mortgage and they were going to foreclose. Neil and his staff helped me keep my home. I am truly grateful. Also a special shout out to Audra.

I was very reluctant to hire a bankruptcy attorney, for a few reasons. First, there's a service in the internet that takes you through the whole process for free (although you do the filing yourself). Second, too many "attorneys" out there. Well, the best decision I've made lately was to hire Stephen. He's very knowledgeable and supportive, and (very important!) ALWAYS replies back in a timely manner. And his fee ended up being more than fair for the peace of mind I had through the whole process. Well, I got discharged! Thanks Stephen!

I engaged Mr. Orchard's services initially because I received a court document naming me as a defendant in a foreclosure action. Having no idea that I was attached to the property, I needed a local attorney's help, as I live in a different state.
Mr. Orchard patiently explained the legal meaning of the documents to me (actually more than once). Further, in assessing the implications of the documents and their impact on me, I had to share very personal and emotional family issues of estrangement and family wounds.
Previously, I hired a PI to assist with the family issues, but he turned out to be a scammer. I hired a different atty years before for the family issue, who provided bum advice, blew through the retainer, and said that was all he could do. I contacted the sheriff's office, who said there was nothing they could do. I was ready to surrender.
Long story short, Mr. Orchard was able to assist in discovering the familial information I was seeking and absolutely needed (and failed to obtain), and continued to work patiently with me to educate and coach me on the legal recourse I had with respect to the foreclosure. Additionally, I found him to be extremely fair and reasonable regarding the retainer I paid and the manner in which it was used.
His services began in April, 2021, and effectively ended in August 2022. Throughout this time, Steve communicated with me regularly, kept me informed regarding actions taken and actions needed, and represented me in an honest and dependable manner. In fact, I trusted him completely, and felt he always acted in my best interest.
In reality, he went out of his way to ensure I received the surplus funds I deserved from the foreclosure. Plus, he did all of this work over a 16-month period ON A CONTIGENCY BASIS! He even consulted with other attorneys that specialized in a completely different area of law (that was a factor in the claim) in order to ensure he was advising me correctly.
I would not hesitate to hire Mr. Orchard again, and you shouldn't either. If you are looking for an attorney that sees you instead of your money, I highly recommend Mr. Orchard. I found him and his lawfirm to provide excellent service, sound and helpful advice, and to have the best ethical integrity of any lawyer I've engaged!

My son Officer Michael Weiskopf of the St. Petersburg Police Department went in to the hospital with Covid 8/1/21 and his wife would not let us have any contact with Michael. She would not let us text him, call him, face-time him or visit him. She told the nursing staff not to give us any information on my son's condition. If we wanted any updates, we would have to go through her. She was giving us erroneous information and that is when we found our Guardian Angel Matt. Matt worked miracles and we were then able to get correct information on my son's condition from a reliable source. He also helped us get an object in my name that Mike's wife didn't want to give us, even though it was her husband's wishes that his brother have this object. My son's wife never told us that my son died and that there was a funeral planned by the St. Petersburg Police Department.
Matt is one of a kind. He is compassionate, kind, caring, sensitive and is a super Professional. He knows his craft and he gets things done. I did a lot of research before hiring an attorney to assist me with the probate process. I ultimately chose Matt because I liked his website. He has plenty of videos that explain “legalese” for people like me who have no idea what it all means and he seemed really involved (something that a lot of attorneys aren’t). It turned out that Mr. Weidner was as involved as he seemed and he didn’t hesitate to answer any one of my million and one questions about what was happening during my daughter’s probate. Even though she had planned out her estate before her death and put everything in order and I had agreed to be her estate executive I have to admit to not having any idea what to do. I had agreed to the role because she asked me to, but luckily I came across Mr. Weidner and he made the whole thing seem much easier than the other lawyers I talked to.
In the end probate went well. Actually, it was draining and devastating but the process itself was easier than I thought it was going to be which was one burden lifted. When things have settled down for us in our new life without my daughter, I plan to go back to Mr. Weidner to talk to him about my own estate planning. Now that I’m raising my grandchildren, I have a lot of changes to make and I’m hoping Mr. Weidner can make it as easy as he did our probate.

We have to start off by saying the court system is not fair when it comes to dead beat parents. Child services took my children from their mother for various warranted reasons (drugs, abuse, neglect), things that we didnt even know they were going through because they we to scared to tell anyone. We were appointed a court appointed attorney which was horrible and after my first experience with my last lawyer we were very skeptical about hiring a new lawyer. Mara came recommended to us through a friend and I have to say it was the best choice we've made in this regard over the last 11 years. During this whole process of the court and child services giving their mother chance after chance to reunify, making us feel like we did something wrong, and forcing the kids to talk and see their mother when they didnt want to Mara stayed positive. She was there anytime we had a question, needed a meeting, or advice during this 2 year process. We are grateful to say that finally we have full custody, the kids have completed their therapy, and they are happy and doing well in school.

Her wealth of knowledge about the mortgage industry is incredible and she will fight for you with every bit of that knowledge. The feeling of abject failure and the loss of so many years of work and dreams.
My initial mind set when I got behind on my mortgage was “I didn’t pay and I deserve to get foreclosed”. It certainly is a pretty straight line to that opinion. And you can rest assured that the so called judges in the Foreclosure Court, who are appointed, not elected, by and large believe this is true too. The long process of defending ourselves from the loss of our family home, which was the repository of every bit of our income (beyond consumables) for most of our lives, was an eye opening experience and some hard lessons about the law and in particular lawyers.
Lots of lawyers will line up to take your money, and as much of it up front as they can get you to pay. I have more than several acquaintances who paid eight thousand, ten thousand dollar retainers. This was quickly burned up on ticky tack back and forth with the bank/servicer and then they lost their homes. One leader in my scout troop found out she was going to auction 7 days before it happened and her family of 5 had to move in with her mother in law.
I’m here to tell you what you need is a Knight. On a Crusade. And that is who Margery Golant is to her clients. When she says: “I am personally disturbed to see consumers being taken advantage of…” she really means it and I have seen it many times in our long and SUCCESSFUL battle to not be foreclosed. Ms Golant had 3 judges disqualified from our case for public comments they had made that clearly showed the bias so prevalent in Foreclosure Court. She had our case removed from the Foreclosure division and put in Civil, where the judges answer to the voters, and care that the decisions they make are legally valid. She had the Service of the foreclosure thrown out 6 times. She fought a brilliant war of counter tactics and strategy that went on for well over 9 years. It seems crazy looking at it written here. Meanwhile my kids grew up in their home and thrived. Words can’t express our gratitude and if you are in this terrible situation, believe a survivor that this is your best choice for representation.

I contracted with Mr. Arcia's firm to help with a difficult mortgage refinance.
I had tried unsuccessfully to renegotiate my mortgage on my own. The lender was very happy to raise my monthly by $2000 when my lousy mortgage signed at the peak of the housing craziness converted from fixed to variable.
Mr. Arcia's staff took care of all the details during the 18-month process. Through it all they kept me informed and promptly answered any questions I had.
In the end I was able to stay in my home while actually paying a few hundred dollars a month less than before.

I have been very happy with Mr. Cherry's paralegal Sylvia. I recently hired Mr. Cherry for selling my parents' house. Sylvia fielded all my questions. She got all of the paperwork together promptly. She knew about the closing out the home equity loan and ensured that the bank was involved. And on top of that Sylvia is personable. Mr. Cherry also found issues with my contract and corrected them. He was able to represent me at closing. The buyers wanted a concession, but Mr. Cherry negotiated it away.

Attorney Ozment and his staff were extremely helpful in guiding me through my Chapter 7 case. From the first meeting, I knew that I wanted his office to represent me. He outlined my options, explained everything about bankruptcy and filing simply and clearly, told me how much it would cost and payment options, helped me to understand the differences between the various chapters, and followed me through the process every step of the way. A week before my trustee meeting, his office scheduled an appointment for me to talk with Atty. Ozment by phone so he could explain the trustee meeting, how it would work, what questions I might be asked, and to go over information in my petition to make sure I understood all the details in the document. I really appreciated the time that he took to do that as it helped me be less nervous for the meeting. The staff in the office were also very helpful, kind, and supportive throughout the process. I've been working on this review for awhile, trying to find the right words and best way to express how grateful I am, and how incredible Jeff and his team are. My custody case was my ex trying to move out of state and take the kids away. In a very real way, I put my (and my kids') lives in his hands. He is absolutely, without doubt, the attorney you want when this horrible scenario becomes your reality.
I strongly recommend Jeff Klein. I've retained him twice, in back-to-back custody issues. The most recent was to fight/oppose the out-of-state relocation which ended with a 2 day Trial, that we won. Not only is he an amazing attorney with the experience and intellect to understand the nuances of the courtroom, opposing counsel, the law, and get a good read on the situation and how to navigate it, but he is a decent human being. Jeff, and his legal team, genuinely cared about my case and took it to heart. Jeff and his team worked relentlessly on my case as it quickly spiraled into a very complex, high conflict custody battle. Jeff deftly maneuvered and had a solid legal strategy to win. So I called attorney Jeffrey Klein‘s office I spoke to Danielle I have spoken to Danielle several times very empathetic person listen to all I had to say not once did she say well this is what it cost to even consult with attorney Klein she never mentioned that she asked questions and listen to me and was empathetic of my feelings and then I had a consult with attorney Klein and never once mentioned a retainer fee which is what I’ve been getting previously with attorneys very short actually some asking me can you pay this but all I got from attorney Klein‘s office was questions and listening to my case I got off the phone with so much promise and ironically my daughter I told her who I talk to you and she said oh no mom I talk to Mis

First of all, do not tackle filing bankruptcy on your own. It's a very complex process. Hire an attorney. Deciding to file for bankruptcy was initially an emotionally daunting task, but it was the right step in the right direction, and I'm glad we did it with Kathyrn.
We were referred to Kathryn by a good friend who successfully achieved their bankruptcy goals under her services. Kathryn demonstrated empathy and a deep understanding of our situation until we received our Chapter 13 discharge papers at the end of our four-year repayment plan agreement.
She was thorough in her processes and incredibly responsive to our questions and concerns. Even though she was our attorney, she embodied the role of a therapist and helped guide us through those stressful moments. She always brought a lighter perspective to our doubts and continued to clear the path before us— and it was a long four-year stretch.
