I came to Mr. Kaleel after losing an BBB arbitration case against Ford for our brand new F150 King Ranch truck. I had the truck in the shop multiple times and finally filed for the Lemon Law and followed all the appropriate steps to take the vehicle to the BBB arbitration for a repurchase. Even though the problem with the vehicle continued to exist, the arbitrator failed to award the repurchase. I rejected the decision and started looking for representation. I called many law offices and most everyone wanted to pursue Ford with a warranty claim. Mr. Kaleel was the only one I found willing to pursue the claim to arbitration under the Lemon Law.
I hired him and he took the time to go over all the accumulated documents up to that point, and he was extremely helpful and thorough as he gathered the necessary information to win the case. He could not believe that the arbitrator from the BBB did not award the buyback and was confident that we would get the repurchase from the Attorney General Arbitration Board.
He soon drafted a letter to Ford and the Attorney General Lemon Law office with the intent to move forward with the arbitration. We immediately got a response from Ford that they would repurchase our vehicle! After a few weeks of dealing with Ford's counsel, which we found very difficult, Mr. Kaleel was able to negotiate an amazing deal that we were very happy with. Ford, although they didn't have to, payed most of the Attorney's fees as well!
Although I wish I could have avoided the entire Lemon Law experience, I would not hire anyone else to go up against a giant company like Ford. Mr. Kaleel did an excellent job and it was an outstanding win! I highly recommend his services if you are in a similar situation.

I am so appreciative of the excellent help, competency, and kindness I received from Michael O'Brien and Ted Piteo!
I spoke with 7 bankruptcy firms, and because of my particular type of debt and amount of assets I have, none of them had a solution that helped me out - I was very worried about financial hardship without bankruptcy. Finally, I found O’Brien and Associates, and they were the only firm in the entire state of Oregon that had first-hand experience with a new part of the Chapter 11 code (subchapter V) – this is the route we took to succeed in my bankruptcy.
I worked with both of the firm’s attorneys, Mr. O’Brien and Mr. Piteo. They are both highly qualified and competent, with complementary strengths that make them an excellent and formidable team. They are just honest, good people – I’d enjoy having them as neighbors!
Both Mr. O’Brien and Mr. Piteo have a high degree of integrity, and I trust them both. For example, at one point, I understood Mr. O’Brien to have made a billing commitment, and when I saw something that seemed to not match that commitment, I called him up and we worked it out in a mutually acceptable, reasonable way that left me trusting him more.
My case was moderately complex (at least for a small business owner such as myself), and both Mr. O’Brien and Mr. Piteo did an excellent job of assessing potential weaknesses in my case and explaining potential outcomes, so I always felt secure knowing what potential pitfalls might come and how to deal with them.
Mr. O’Brien did high-quality and skillfully-nuanced settlement negotiations with one of my creditors (my ex-wife).
Mr. Piteo represented me during the pendency of my case in bankruptcy court. He did an excellent job of negotiating with one of my creditors to ease the way to getting my plan confirmed. He also was timely with answering my questions, and allaying my concerns by providing me with honest, accurate information. An added bonus is that Mr. Piteo is lively and fun, which made the entire process easier to handle, and I even enjoyed it!
Mr. Piteo did such an excellent job of litigating my case in bankruptcy court, to the point that the judge gave her ruling at the end of the hearing, and we won everything we proposed in the Chapter 11 reorganization plan. He also did an excellent job preparing me to testify, both with specific questions he’d ask me, and how to handle combative questions from my ex-wife’s lawyer.
I am so relieved I found O’Brien and Associates, that I could trust them, and I am very grateful for their great care, competence, and help in my 100% successful bankruptcy case. They delivered as they said they would, without surprises, and I highly recommend them.

Awful experience. This attorney offered to analyze my probate case for $2500. When I called back to agree he asked for $1000 more. I paid $3500. He told me his partner, who is his daughter, will be continuing my case. Nobody was contacting me for five weeks. When I called five weeks later no attorneys were available to talk to, only there assistant. Assistant emailed me review of my case two weeks later which wasn't making sense at all, and signed by the assistant. Besides of that I received bill for $575 week later. Profile of this attorney on this website states "Attention", because his license was suspended four times.

I called Raffy to see if he could help me with a real estate issue I was having. Raffy said that due to the time-consuming nature of my problem, he couldn’t help me but could refer me to another lawyer.
But he graciously agreed to a 1-hour consultation. He is a great listener, and his advice was excellent. He drew upon years of legal experience, telling me what he thought I should do, and what my risks are with the various options I am considering.
Frankly, he just comes across as someone with high integrity. He seems to derive satisfaction from doing an excellent job and cultivating a great reputation.
I was amazed that at the end of our meeting he did not try to sell me on his services. I asked again if he could take my legal work, and he said he was too busy since he doesn’t like to outsource any legal work to other people, but prefers to do it all himself since that’s what his clients are expecting.
I recommend that if you need legal advice, you call Raffy and see if he has time to help you. You won’t regret it.

Words cannot explain how impressed I am with Attorney Raffy Boulgourjian. I found him on the attorney website AVVO and am so truly thankful I did.
I had rushed back to the country due to receiving court papers by a company claiming breach of contract (they were claiming I had signed to sell my house to them at 50% off market price and at 200k less than what I owed the bank) My house was NOT for sale, not to mention, I was out of the country when this supposed contract was signed. (Sidenote > fraudulent realty scheme > yes they filed papers in court & yes they put a lien on my house)
I was searching for attorneys on AVVO and after researching and cross referencing with other attorney review sites I compiled a list of potential attorneys and started making calls. Raffy was the chosen one. Not only was he patient and helpful, during the initial phone call he attempted to walk me through the steps that I could take in order to resolve this on my own without retaining his services and incurring attorney fees --- apparently he had a client with the same type of case as mine, copy paste except for our names.
I appreciated his honesty in trying to save me money but could not take any chances in attempting to handle this myself... He was the chosen ONE. I retained his services and am so glad that I did. He was available throughout the entire process via phone call and email, he kept me updated in detail anytime he had new information. He took care of it all, got the lien taken off of my house got the fraudulent case against me dropped basically did everything he had set out to do and all in a short period of time. He sent me monthly invoices with a breakdown showing me exactly what was billed and get this…. In the end I get a check back for the money’s not used. I am going to be honest, as I was with him, I did not expect any money back, I feel like he under billed, it would have been worth every single penny had he kept the entire retainer and, yes, I would have written a review regardless, but, I am so impressed with this final action on his part that I decided to go more in detail with the specifics on my case and rid you of any doubts.. If you are reading this review and you need an attorney then don’t hesitate to call him. I have never been impressed with attorneys and have actually sided with the term “Lawyer=Liar” but not anymore. Raffy Bougourjian is a Lawyer and is a straight forward and honest person. I am now a believer that there are good people who turn into great attorneys with an amazing work ethic.
I would not hesitate to refer clients to him for as long as he is an attorney and I as long as I am alive

Ms. Axmith is a lawyer who most definitely stands out. I called her office to leave a message at 10 pm and was surprised to find she picked up the phone because she was working late on a case. She gave me some initial advice that put me at ease, and didn't charge any consultation fees. My initial impression of her is that she is a very experienced and no-nonsense lawyer who would go to bat for you if you were being threatened or intimidated. I really liked her from the get go because I felt she was on my side without judging me or making me feel small. I walked away feeling empowered and less befuddled. I recently hired Mr. Di Furia to handle my foreclosure situation. He was really easy to deal with and down to earth. I like that he knew what he was talking about, but he also really made me feel comfortable. I was in a bad situation, but he really got me a great deal in the end. One of the best qualities about Paul is his communication. Unlike most lawyers, his assistant will answer texts/calls until late and she will also communicate over the weekends. That's excellent for a person like me that works 8-5pm. She was able to answer my questions and make sure that I calmed down if I got distressed. This was a great experience, I got lower payments, and it was very affordable fee wise. I would recommend Paul to anyone.

I’d called the state’s mediation counseling/referral line December 23, 2016 and the woman I spoke with said I’d probably miss my 30-day option for mediation due to the timing of the holidays. That godsend of a woman then called in a personal favor and contacted “the best foreclosure attorney in the business” because she said if anyone could stop the foreclosure at that point, it was him.
Paul called me from the East Coast where he was celebrating Christmas with his family. He got my information and told me he’d enter me in the mediation program to stop foreclosure even if I didn’t end up hiring him to represent me, but of course I did.
Paul’s fee was extremely reasonable, and he accepted it in monthly payments. After 4 years and 2 prior failed mediation’s, my case was a mess that took a lot more time, effort, and negotiation than all of his other clients, but he never complained or asked for more money. He even convinced my ex to sign and notarize documents he’d sworn he’d never sign off on!
Paul worked ahead of deadlines, responded immediately, and walked me through every step with patience, humor, and a positive attitude. Both the lender and mediator had extensive prior experience working with Paul and at our first meeting, both commented on his reputation as a tireless professional they enjoyed working with. Their attorney told me I ‘couldn’t have chosen better’.
The end result was Paul pulled off a miracle by not only saving our house, he also negotiated with the lender to get my monthly payment $400 lower than what I was paying before the divorce.

After retiring my finances got out of control and I had to file bankruptcy. This was a scary thing for me to do because I didn't know what to expect. I spent several days calling different

I contacted Neustein Law with about two weeks notice, prior to a Summary Final Judgement (Foreclosure) and the firm was able to deliver big. Not only did they deliver big, they delivered fast, negotiating an equitable agreement in a very convoluted, albeit difficult relationship with the lender.

Mr. Rinaldi kept me and my 100 year old DAV father of WWII (Marine Corp) warm and dry in my home for over 6 years while defending my case every step of the way and he did an "OUTSTANDING" job all the way to the very END! During my initial consultation Mr. Rinaldi was very straightforward. He explained every possible outcome in layman's terms, concerning my debt collection matter. Within days of being retained, he filed documents on my behalf with the court and initiated communication with the Plaintiff's attorney. I expected my case to be open for 9-12 months. However, because of Mr. Rinaldi's experience in debt collection matters he was able to get the Plaintiff to voluntarily dismiss the case with prejudice. What I expected to take up to a year, Mr. Rinaldi got resolved within 30 days of being retained. I couldn't have asked for a better result.

My wife and I were recently forced into bankruptcy and we were also wrongfully accused of committing a fraud in a business deal that led to our bankruptcy. The plaintiffs sued knowing that we did not have the financial resources to defend ourselves. Their reason for such an action is irrelevant here. I was forced to try and defend us without a lawyer.
Our case was complicated; I went weekly to the free legal clinics at the law library in Annapolis and attempted to educate myself in the subtleties of the legal systems. The task was daunting. During that time I talked many attorneys to get help, but we could not afford their services.
I met Wayne at the free legal clinic at the bankruptcy court in Baltimore. He gave me a lot of helpful advice and went back to perusing our case. A few months later I again visited the legal clinic and fortunately for me; I once again met Wayne. I asked if he could guide me in preparing my case.
I wrote a few motions and I asked Wayne to review them. He not only did he review my work; he assumed control of writing the motions I was seeking. He interviewed me and reviewed our documentation at length and he believed in me and our case. He knew that the plaintiffs did not have a creditable case; as he instructed me proving it is a different matter.
He took on this case with an energy and commitment that astounded me. Although he had other cases, he still made me feel as if our case was always at the top of his mind. He seemed to work day and night, he would call me at night, on weekends and during holidays. He pushed me hard to produce the documents that he knew we would need for the case.
As anyone can imagine this case was a very emotional and stressful ride for both my wife and I. Wayne was very good at taking the emotional anger out of the discussion and more importantly he was never afraid to tell me how it was and to take me task.
When we finally got to court, it was obvious that the plaintiff's case was without merit and they agreed to settle out of court by dropping the case. Without Wayne's help, I would have lost the case even though the plaintiff's case was without merit.
If you have the chance to work with Wayne, take comfort in knowing that you dealing with someone who will give you honesty, integrity and commitment.
There are not enough words to describe our gratitude for having Wayne assist my wife and I with our case. If you have the chance to work with Wayne, Take it!!!

Hello I just want to say I called the Civil hotline for free attorney advice. Mr. Wayne Clark picked up and after I explained my situation as far as all of the loan modifications that I have been doing with my bank and their denials. I also explained to him that in a panic state one night, I hired an attorney off a commerical and paid him almost $3,000 to help with a loan modification that was denied. Not knowing that the attorney had possibly done something wrong Mr Clark advised me what I needed to do to get my money back from that attorney. Mr. Clark also advised me in approx 1 hour what I was fearing all along. See I had been fighting to save my home for almost 2 years, thinking I could. He asked me questions and evaluated my salary the home loan as well as the value of my home. In doing that he gave me an assessment of why the bank probably kept dening my loan modification and he made me realize that unless my income increased substantially like ASAP that my chances of saving the home was not great, that was the honesty do I need it. All I did the past two years was kept fighting and the amount of my past due balance increasing, and the bank was letting it happen. The bank has given me unrealistic expectations based on my salary and the likelihood that I would be able to catch up on the past due balance. For the first time in 2 years I was hit with the best reality check that I needed. I went to my church and prayed with my pastor and then contacted a realtor who basically advise me of the same thing. I did exactly what Mr. Clark told me to do and contacted the attorney, told him to give me my money back within one week and if he did not the steps that I was going to take in getting the money back. That attorney panicked to my surprise and did not fight me. I had my money within 4 days honestly, I could not believe it, I thought that money was lost and gone and thrown down the drain. I'm now prepared to move forward and start again. I'm so thankful to Attorney Clark because basically my funds were gone and he helped me get my money back free of charge with his advice. I truly feel he was a God sent and I would refer him to anyone anytime and any day. Thanks again Attorney Clark for all your help, bless you.

If you are looking for an attorney for family law matters Matthew Hunt is the best money can buy. I initially hired Mr. Hunt after I fired another attorney who took my money, did not bother to file divorce paperwork, and would not return my calls or emails. Matt personally handled my divorce which involved me dealing with custody of my children and paying of alimony, he also helped navigate me as I was a business owner. After meeting with severl bankruptcy-13 attorneys in 2013 I met Mr. Gelberg and decided it was a done deal. Mr. Gelberg had decades of experience, understood where I was coming from and where I wanted to be. I never thought in a million years I would have to declare bankruptcy but divorce, having a special needs son, losing my job left me no choice. I had to do everything in my power to save my home for my son's sake. Mr. Gelberg worked out a viable 5 year plan that was a stretch but I knew I could somehow achieve. My first meeting at the courthouse in Islip I was terrified but Mr. Gelberg had answers for the trustee to all questions that were asked . When questions were asked by the trustee directly to me, I would look at Mr. Gelberg and the tenseness would leave me. The balance of meetings that I had to appear with Mr. Gelberg in court, Mr. Gelberg was outstanding. You see other people with their lawyers and none could hold a candle to Mr. Gelberg. Initially I posted a question on AVVO. Kelli responded very promptly, providing accurate, specific feedback regarding technical and complicated questions and concerns I was trying to work through regarding pre-foreclosure and sale of our home. I had applied for and was denied loan modifications for our home 3 times in one year. I was struggling with how to move forward. Throughout the next couple of months, after posting initial question, Kelli continued to remain available and be an excellent resource with specific questions and concerns we came upon regarding this circumstance as we made efforts to work with the bank, banks attorneys, and realtors trying to sort out specifics and make the best decisions.
