i used merna law for chapter 7, I was very embarrassed and felt like a failure, he explained everything well, and really fought for me. my credit was terrible i could not even get a car loan. he got my case discharged, explained how to build credit. 1 year later for approved for 1.4% car loan for five years. he is laid back, but knows his stuff. sadly i live in north carolina and they made a ruling after my case that we can no longer file in va, otherwise I would use the firm him 4 life

I decided to go on my own to get a loan modification after spending so much money on legal fees. We have used josh for selling and buying houses. He is 110% the best RE attorney I never seen. Lots of my friend says RE attorney don’t do anything, I told them that they didn’t get lucky to find a good one. Good attorney could make deals but bad one destroys all relationships. I cannot more highly recommend Josh Bogaty and his firm for Long Island real estate transactions. I am myself a lawyer, but do not handle real estate transactions. I was looking for experienced real estate counsel to handle the simultaneous sale of and purchase of residential real estate, a stressful situation that's like trying to thread a needle, with a lot of potential pitfalls. Josh came recommended from a colleague and I'm very glad we found him to advise us in the process.
From our very first phone call through closing on our second transaction, Josh was simply outstanding. He is extremely knowledgable, thorough and highly responsive. We encountered several unanticipated issues throughout the process that could have been disastrous, but with Josh's expert counsel, they ended up just being speed bumps in the rear view mirror on the way to our final destination.

Mr. Lenoir has been my attorney for a couple of years. The foreclosure work he has been litigating against a large bank has been every bit of amazing. If you have a case that seems like its not winnable you should contact him. He's not like a lot of attorneys that try to get you for every dime. Mr Lenoir will work with you. Mr. Estavillo consulted with me in a predatory foreclosure matter. He was succinct and sincerely wants to help the homeowners who were wrongly foreclosed.
His focus on the San Francisco/Oakland area makes his work even more impactful as predatory foreclosures are aggressive here. The homes are valuable and the lives of the homeowners almost irreversible changed if these foreclosures happen.
I am seriously considering hiring Mr. Estavillo. I would recommend anyone to contact his office if they suspect they are targets of predatory foreclosures.

My wife and I paid him $7500 all I really needed was for him to get a city police officer that is keeping us from our home to stop meddling cause he ( the cop ) is trying to help an agency squat our home but instead Mr Estavillo started reviewing recorded deeds from the county over billed us so he can keep the remainder of the retainer and if that wasn’t bad enough he was reviewing the wrong person all together and at the end just abandoned us. Good thing I know how to read title I transferred our title in to a trust and perfected title but the city cop is still keeping us from our home. That’s wrong Mr Jason Estavillo. Unfortunately I have to say I know he does know real estate, foreclosure and civil law and he is a great lawyer cause I call it as I see it. I just don’t understand why he didn’t want to help us when we paid him.

Jason Stone is my favorite attorney. I love that we pretty much never spoke after our initial
conversation yet he consistently got everything done promptly and secured my trademark for a fraction of the cost that others were quoting me. I don’t remember what it was about his solicitation email thatgot my attention after my trademark application hit a snag. It must have been brief and to the point though, and it got my attention, so I called the number. He immediately picked up, spent 15 minutes talking to me, and then, frankly, I never talked to him again. But, I did hear from the US patent office pretty regularly with success after success until I got my trademark done. There were a few times along the way that I wondered what the status of my case was, so I sent two follow up emails during the process, and each was responded to immediately. One response was “submitted last week thanks” and the other was “yes, exactly”. I’m used to reading long-winded explanations from attorneys. Maybe they think I care about the legal mechanics of torts and contracts and the detailed intricacies of intellectual property law. Actually, I don’t. I just wanted to put that little R next to my company name so that when some clown competitor enters my sandbox and messes with my brand I would have some leverage. And Jason handled that masterfully, and inexpensively. Hire him…you’ll be happy, and if you need companionship, maybe get a dog, and if you need someone to chat with, go talk to a customer. And of course, if you need a drum set, find LodoDrumGuy. But please just let Jason handle your legal. It will be the most pleasant/efficient lawyer experience you can ever hope to have, and if he doesn’t call, trust he’s working hard on your behalf. Thanks Jason!!

I was referred to Paul out of necessity by a consultant, so I didn't know what to expect. I've always had a decidedly negative opinion of most attorneys and I expected more of the same. What I got from Paul, and the associates at his firm, was the polar opposite. First, an understanding of the intricacies of my particular situation, and an explanation of the law, and my options, in plain English. Second, they took a personal interest in my situation, and even advised me on several occassions to choose a simpler resolution, even though it obviously meant lower billings for the firm. Third, I was always kept current on any status changes in the various pending issues/cases that they were handling for me. That is something I have never been able to get from an attorney. I always knew what was going on within an hour of when it happened. And all this at a very reasonable hourly rate, plus extremely detailed billing statements, which is another attorney first for me.

I have used Paul and his firm for both personal and business legal matters for over 10 years. He is an excellent lawyer and also an honest and honorable man. He was always truthful about all matters. I was always kept informed about the proceedings and the billings. He would tell me when I was wrong and recommend the best course of action. Honesty like that is hard to find.
His firm handles all legal matters for my computer consulting company. I have had to go to court 3 times for business disputes and Paul won every case. In addition to business litigation Paul also does all the company's contract work and general legal counsel.
Paul has also handle all my personal legal matters such as real estate, estate planning and taxes. Once again because of Paul I have never been on the loosing side in a legal dispute.

I was referred to David by a friend of mine who went through a bankruptcy himself. David and his team were absolutely top notch in their representation of my Chapter 7 case. I had a very complex case with very little assets while going through a contested divorce. David walked me through every step of the process, timely answered all my questions, and kept me and appraised of the status. He promptly replied to my divorce attorney emails as well when the case was filed, which helped me along the way.

We used Paul Kaplan's office to sell our house in New Haven. We had relocated across country before we had a chance to sell it, so we had to sell it remotely. Fortunately, we found some wonderful people to buy it and could do a for-sale-by-owner (FSBO) transaction, but we needed a capable seller's attorney's office to handle all the paperwork for us.
The entire transaction was as smooth as it could possibly be. Paul's office was very competent. We gave Paul a limited power-of-attorney to handle the transaction for us. Aside for a last minute scurry to find a notary public here (hint: use Yelp) here, there really weren't any problems at all. Anytime I had any questions at all, I knew that I could call Paul or toss him an e-mail and he'd call me right back.
After closing, Paul's office wired the balance of funds as soon as they settled the books (one business day!). Because of wire fraud, they were careful to make sure I was really me, and my bank account was really mine, which I appreciated.
Over all, I couldn't have been happier. Well, I could have been. I would have liked to have shaked the hands of Paul and his team for doing such a great job. What could have been a stressful situation (remotely selling a house) was instead a dream.
Now we have the funds to fix the fixer-upper we bought on the west coast!

I found Ed on this website and consulted with him about my outstanding debt that I couldn’t collect from one of my ex-tenants. I called twice because the first time I had to cut the call short because I was running to another meeting, he was available both times.
