I hired them for my divorce. I worked with them for almost 1.5 years and they didn't know that the biggest reimbursement claim I had wasn't valid until the opposing attorney educated them on the law. Further, I got charged for responding to emails they sent me. They make sure everyone in the office touches your file so each individual can bill you. They are expensive and incompetent. I spent almost $70,000 just to fire them before the final decree. They wanted $5000 to finish the divorce. I got it done by a competent attorney for $1000. Divorce is hard and it drains you on so many levels. Do yourself a favor and find a competent attorney that is reasonable priced. These ladies aren't it. They made a bad situation even worse.

I just wanted to say thank you for everything you have done. While mediation did not prove to be ideal, you helped ensure that my youngest son will be able to continue the one activity he is enthusiastic about and that I didn't get stuck with my ex-wife's debt. It brings a lot of solace that my youngest son does have financial support to pursue his karate passion throughout his childhood if he desires to do so. While I wish she would have wanted to support our son's interest simply because it is his interest instead of using it as a bargaining tool, we got close to what she owed me in a way that protects my son and an activity that brings him joy and increased self-confidence, which is far more important to me. You also helped me understand what was and was not worth fighting based off of what our judge would likely rule. This helped me accept the situation and allowed us to reach an agreement and not drag on the divorce process another three months.
I am sure no divorce process is ever easy. I also know that family law attorneys (or attorneys in general) don't have the best reputation, but you are the type of person who should be doing what you are doing and should not be lumped in with the negative opinion of lawyers. From what I have seen you are in this profession for the right reasons and you look to do what is right within the confines of the laws and the judged you work with.

Ray Raya represented me in early Spring of 2024. I was absolutely petrified, and sick to my stomach for months looking for a reputable lawyer. I received his contact information by word of mouth from a dear friend of mine. The day of court, I came in early but, he came in earlier. He shook my trembling hand, said it’s ok. I got it to a $100 dollar fine plus court costs. With my face bright red from fear and the lump in the back of my throat… I cleared my throat and managed to stumble out the words… am I going to lose my license?!! Tears welled up in my eyes, He said no you’re ok!! His smooth confidence just took so much anxiety away. I was petrified I’d lose my license and of course, the booming thoughts I obsessed about… how am I going to get to work?Am I going to lose my job and my home, if I can’t get to work?!!! My life is over!!! But just like that, he made a fantastic deal and I was so grateful. I was traveling thru the state as a truck driver with a pair of brass knuckles I purchased in another state and was apprehended with them not realizing they are a felony in Michigan. My guy Mike got it figured out ahead of time and made the case disappear. Amazing job would definitely hire him again but hopefully never will need to. Thanks Mike for making this scary time so smooth and getting it over fast. Only 215$ fine and I got all the charges dropped with no priors.

I was facing a Felony OWI 3rd in Plymouth District Court. Declined breathalyzer, high BAC, and wasn't a resident of Wayne County where the arrest took place...alot of unfavorable factors.
My world was turned upside down and was convinced my career, savings, and house were all gone in that order.
Mike didn't sugarcoat my situation nor did he promise what the results would be. However, he did say he would do his part if I did my part with detailed instructions he provided.
The results in my case on both the Criminal Court and Secretary of State side were nothing short of AMAZING.
Felony conviction got pleaded down to misdemeanor, successfully transferred to Sobriety Court close to where I live, no jail time, and limited driver license sanctions.
Mike is also a people person who can tell truly cares about his clients and community beyond being smart, charismatic, and sophisticated in Michigan DUI law.
My alcoholism is currently in full remission and I'm making a negative into a positive despite the terrible choice that I made that put myself and others in danger. I'm thankful that Mike assisted in my improvement without having to lose everything.
His support staff is great and friendly too.
Anybody who's currently considering DUI Attorney's, hire Mike and follow his simple instructions. I don't care what other Attorney's are charging or promising, Mike is the best. You won't regret hiring him.

Emily is an incredible attorney! I was charged in a ridiculous case based on a blatantly unconstitutional law where SPD violated their own protocols, but the prosecutor was a fanatic and would not let it go. Ms. Gause and her partner, Ms Robinette, will work tirelessly to get the truth out in defense of their client. Our son was falsely accused by his disgruntled teenage daughterof raping her. The first trial ended in a mistrial (not defended by Ms Gause). When the accuser realized how Ms. Gause would defend our son (by demanding counseling records and more), the accuser dropped all the charges. If it had not been for Ms Gause and her excellent work our son would probably be in prison now for crimes he absolutely did not commit. She kept us informed of everything she was doing in his defense and was available to us by text or phone at any time. I would recommend her to anyone in need of a criminal defense lawyer.

I had a bad year arrested three times and my bond revoked. he got me on bond AGAIN and got me doing things that helped me get my life on track. when we got back to court he fought for me. The police man wanted me to go to prison and mr. awad got 2 of the cases dismissed and the last case got off my record. I had probation and that is it. Mr. Kassman is a great attorney backed by an incredible staff who work really hard. We had a horrible tenant that had to be evicted in Suffolk County and Mr. Kassman laid out a plan and executed on it flawlessly. He took dozens of phone calls, and so did his staff from us and reassured us throughout the entire process. We are really grateful. A very good friend of mine had highly recommended Angela Duhon. As it turned out her case load was full and could not take my case.
I ended up being blessed with Kylie Huffman-shayeb. She is caring on top of the case and usually response to an email within the hour. She’s even responded on holidays or weekends when she really doesn’t have to.
The father’s attorney never showed up for court would always extend things and never had any of the paper work he needed in on time. It also seemed like his lawyer was using another vacation as an excuse to delay things. This attorney had a two star rating on google which answered a lot of my questions.
I looked at Kylie’s reviews and of Course they where perfect
I was very pleased with her. My first court case, my son was placed back into my custody after losing him to DCS. The father even abandoned his apartment and moved out of state so I couldn’t track him down . She was able to figure this all out for me. I didn’t really have anyone to help me. I had done all that I could, and I felt lost. She took care of everything. I definitely felt comfortable asking her anything she was always so kind and had a great point of view.
She really knows the ropes and most of my attorney fees were owed back to me.

I used Kylie Huffman-Shayeb for my divorce case involving three minor children. She is considerate and pays very close attention to detail. Her communication to the court on my behalf was very precise, detailed and accurate. She knew exactly what my needs and concerns were, and she expressed them to the court in the best manner possible. In the end, my case never went to trial because we settled it through mediation. Kylie helped me mediate with my ex-wife's side. As a human, a great reputation is one thing we all can control. This was something Deon helped me keep, and for that, I will always refer him as a great criminal defense lawyer for life.
I was in a position of being falsely accused of theft, which could have resulted me in federal prison for several years. In the very beginning, I do recall the stress I encountered and I can for sure tell you that having Deon on your side made this entire experience very uplifting, and empowering.
While explaining my side of my story, his solutions were immediate (Gave me solutions during my explanation haha, that's how quick). Before we even finished our call, I already felt that everything was going to be resolved due to the confidence, energy, and reassurance I received from him. I highly recommend Steve Glink. He was professional, direct and to the point. Steve has a wide breath of legal knowledge - on more than one occasion Steve referenced legalise to other lawyers which they were unaware of. I had a very complicated case that lasted almost three years, included a school district, the state attorney's office, the police, and DCFS. It also included interviewing witnesses, reviewing camera footage and writing several briefs. While I was anxious and confused, Steve was an oak in a tornado. I wanted to began by saying that if you are looking for a honest and hard working attorney Mr.Bogan is the way to go, he always made me understand my husbands options and always made it our choice on what we wanted to do after giving us his legal counsel. Mr Bogen was assigned my son's case as a public defender in Kaufman county back in July of 2022. My son faced serious charges that sadly he was guilty of. However the focus of Mr Bogen from day one was to get my son the help he needed to get over his addictions and live a successful life without this mistake being held over my son's life forever. When Kaufman county refused to help my son, Mr Bogen fought them hard and got them to dismiss the charges in a short 2 months. He also gave a dose of reality to my son's mom and made her realize that she had to step up or see her first born in prison for up to 40 years.
He went above and beyond and got the best possible outcome for my son. He fought hard for a client that the county was paying for, at no point did I feel like he was not fighting 100% with all of his tools to win.
My only regret is he does not handle Family Law cases.

Mr. Masters helped my 14 year old daughter when she got a moving violation driving her golf cart in Viera, FL. Points on her future license would have delayed her getting her driver’s license and it would have increased our insurance considerably. Mr. Masters was able to plea it down to where we paid a small fine and there would be no lasting repercussions. His office staff is friendly and prompt with their replies and Mr. Masters is very professional and knowledgeable of the law. You can tell he is well respected in the courthouse by the judges, court staff and even the prosecuting attorneys. I highly recommend Mr. Masters.

I never thought I'd need a divorce lawyer but when I found myself pregnant going through a divorce I knew I'd need one that would advocate for me and my baby boy. From the minute I met Phil Newman we just clicked. His warm, caring nature together with his no-nonsense, cut-to-the-chase way makes him a bulldog of a lawyer. In the end, the way he fights for what's best for the CHILD is what sets him apart. And he's had to put me in my place a few times, but I've always been better as a result.
Now having been divorced 8+ years and going through several post-divorce rounds of parenting plan changes, I can't recommend Phil and his team highly enough.
Especially Alisha Warner who is my other lawyer and who has walked with me as well through the past 8 years. She is an incredibly hard worker and has gut instincts that recently helped me settle a really hard situation in mediation.

Phil was highly recommended to me by a long-time friend who had recently gone through a divorce and was in a very similar situation to mine. I have two young boys and was the breadwinner in my household, which is very relevant because I had a hard time accepting the role reversal of my situation. I knew within 5 minutes of sitting down with Phil and his paralegal, Julie, that I didn’t need to look any further. Phil is a busy lawyer (which means he’s good lawyer) so he can be hard to pin down at times, BUT he was always there when I needed him – responding to texts and phone calls at night, early morning and over the weekend. He and Julie not only counseled me through the technical aspects of the divorce, but the emotional aspects as well. Phil would empathize with me and validate my feelings, but he also told me what I needed to hear even if it wasn’t what I wanted to hear. Thankfully, we were able to settle my divorce in mediation. Phil took time to explain the mediation process to me and ensure I was well prepped – both materially and emotionally. The mediation was 11 grueling hours . There was one point when we were negotiating alimony – a real sticking point for me – when Phil looked me straight in the eye and said, “Tracy, that’s a good deal. You need to take it.” I didn’t like it but I took it. No questions asked. And, this is representative of how my whole process went. Throughout one of the most difficult periods of my life when I was at my most vulnerable, Phil was my rock and my protector. I felt strong because I had Phil and Julie in my corner. On one hand, I’m grateful my divorce didn’t end up in court, but on the other hand, I would have loved to see him in action in that setting.
