I consulted with a few different attorneys in Franklin & Crystal was the only one that made me feel as if she really was listening to what I was saying. The others, for the most part, made me feel as if we were being timed & I had to race through my situation.
I hired Crystal after about a month when I was ready to file for divorce. She walked me through all of the scenarios & her paralegal gave me a bunch of information to help me when I needed to refer to if I needed it, which I found so helpful.
I’m still going through the divorce process but they’ve made me feel like I’m not alone.
Crystal is a straight shooter which I like. She doesn’t charge for every little thing and she genuinely wants the best for me & my two kids. I can feel that with every conversation I have with her. I can’t imagine going through this process with any other attorney.

Cannot give enough credit or positive feedback for Mrs. Etue and her staff, especially Erin. They are what a lawyer should be when it comes to truly knowing and advocating for their client. They took the time to truly get to know me, my situation which two previous attorneys had blundered horribly, and then on principle, dug in and scratched and used their extensive understanding of the law to clear the minefield my ex had laid out. They saw the truth, dug hard to get the facts and evidence to support it and overcome opposing sides efforts to conceal and hide crucial materials. I had almost been broken by the process and stress, but they gave me a glimmer of hope, then fed it and worked so hard to stand up to the opposing side, and now, we clearly are in an incredible position to get the results we sought and then some because they fought the right fight and took a stand against an opposing side based on values and principles. You cannot go wrong hiring Mrs. Etue, just be honest, forthcoming NO MATTER WHAT, because they are the poster child for integrity and can handle anything put forth as long as they aren't blindsided. I went into this with an attorney from a different city and then Ms Poland was recommended to me. To be honest, I had spent so many years terrified, this had gone on so long, I was scared to call her office. But so glad that I did.

With the increasing complexity of often contradictory laws, it takes brilliance and very significant ingenuity to keep our legal system both fair and sensible. Hooman Kazemi is both brilliant and extremely skilled. In my case, he was able to change the charge against me from one that was unfair, to one that was factually correct and fair. He also negotiated a very fair and considerate resolution with the Prosecutor. Without his skill and thorough knowledge, I am certain that I would have been illogically and unfairly punished for a very simple and unintentional oversight. His identification and re-classification of the charge, in my opinion, showed an uncommon degree of knowledge and expertise. At age 61 as a manufacturer and exporter, I have worked with governments around the world and have never seen better legal counsel. His skill is uncommon, and his enthusiasm is phenomenal.

One of the best decisions I’ve ever made was hiring Erin for a custody and support claim/counterclaim. Jennifer Locke did the worst job representing me. There was very little communication with her during the process and when she did contact me she was yelling at me. She told me she couldn’t request items like split costs for extracurricular, life insurance, college funds, etc. She told me I couldn’t request to put in MSA yo have contact with grandparents after death. She pushed me to drop all 2 yrs of back pay and give in to extended visitation. And refused to fight for medical and psych custody, even though my ex hadn’t been in my kids lives for 2 years. It has been 2 years and I have learned from other attorneys what she did was so wrong. She just wanted the money with no work to represent me. She once put me on hold and didn’t realize I could hear her conversation with my ex’s lawyer and she was acting as if they were friends. I was told I would receive an official copy of my decree and I never received it. Only an email copy. Please please stay away.

I wish I could say nice and positive things about Ms.Locke and her paralegal Alisha. My whole experience was waiting for answers, direction and disappointment. Always conflicting and misleading information. I never felt secure in the information I was given and when meditation came it was more of a reunion and when time came to talk about my needs it was "standard" for mom and dad to have this and that rather than looking at the best interest of the child as they kept stating and his special needs. In the end I was not fully happy with what I got and felt as if I was more of a payment check for them and went to the next.
I would NOT RECOMMEND anyone to this law firm.

I was wrongfully accused of a Title IX infraction. Marc is an exceptional listener and possesses the innate ability to ascertain facts from friction. After discussing my situation, Marc walked me through the Title IX process and explained how we should address the issue. Marc assisted in drafting a response letter to the adjudicate and coached me leading up to the interview. In the end, the accusation was not a Title IX issue, and flaws and false accusations in the claimant's testimony surfaced in which the case was ruled in my favor. I would not have known how to respond and properly defend myself without Marc’s assistance. Finally, Marc was always responsive and his fee for service was reasonable. Filtering through my options of attorneys, Marc gave me the best offer of anyone and had my interest even more when he told me he was previously a prosecutor for several years.
I just followed everything Marc guided me to do. He constantly walked me through everything every time we met. The justice system is certainly intimidating, and he made the experience simple from the beginning. He explained what was happening, every outcome and exactly how they came to be, what things to expect, what things to prepare for and how to prepare for them.
Facing a number of F1 charges, getting caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, I was anticipating that I'd have to do probation in the VERY least. I hired Marc Chavez for a Title XI case I was named a Respondent for. To put it briefly, he was incredible. He was present at all of my interviews with investigators and provided me with useful legal counsel throughout the entire process. Marc without a doubt is in a class of his own. On the day of our hearing, the Complainant tried pulling a fast one on us by having a surprise witness show up to testify against me. Marc handled the situation amazingly. I am a father of 4 and to date have avoided any dealings with the criminal courts or the attorney’s that operate in them. However, this changed one evening over spring break 2017. My oldest son was arrested for possession of alcohol and I was forced to decide if I needed and could afford representation for my son. I called multiple attorneys that evening and made a quick decision to ask Trisha Graham to represent my son. This ended up being a huge blessing in what was a challenging time for our family. Trisha was professional like you would expect but she went beyond that. My son was 18 so his situation was made very public via social media not just in Florida but back home as well. Elizabeth was an excellent attorney in representing my case in which I was dealing with a serious traffic infraction. She was very professional and knowledgeable from the get-go, helped me file a motion immediately, and was able to get my case moving in the right direction. I had fired my previous attorney for being unavailable and unresponsive and with Elizabeth I found her to be the complete opposite. She was quick to return emails, answered questions, easy to talk to, and explained the process very well. Yolanda defended me in my case, she helped me avoid a jail sentencing. I really do appreciate her hard work with my case. She explained to the judge that my crime wasn't as severe as it seemed and the reasons to why in a very professional way. I was on probation at the time and had violated it unknowingly and she helped explain that to the judge. While on probation I was unable to leave my county and I did so unknowingly while taking someone to a doctors appointment, I wasn't even a mile out of the county. She helped my case get demised.

Yolanda Gauna went above and beyond all expectations throughout our whole acquaintance. She was prompt and informed every time we met. She was kind and listened to all the information being presented to her that was relevant to our case. I never once doubted that she would come through for us. I got a ticket in Naples, FL, Collier County, and was looking for a lawyer to get my ticket dismissed. Talked to about half dozen lawyers, from ones that were sarcastic to ones that just wanted your money, to do what I could myself. I finally got in touch with the law office of Michael R. Gorman, who was truly a good person and a knowledgeable lawyer. He explained to me that it is a waste of money to hire a lawyer because in Collier County the chances of dismissing a ticket are extremely slim. Furthermore he walked me step by step to what I need to do to avoid points and insurance price increase. Dilip Paliath took my grandson case in the Fall of 2015. Mr. Paliath had to drive three hours to attend the court session beginning at 9:00 am. My grandson met with Mr. Paliath before court began. Mr. Paliath ask personal questions and discussed different roles of court persons. My grandson did not understand the concepts of court and Mr. Paliath expressed this concern to the judge. It was determined by the judge that my grandson needed training about court. Mr. Paliath had to return during the winter twice and the case was not settled until June 2016. Through all of this Mr. Paliath kept in contact about each and every court corespondence. Mr. Paliath is both kind and a complete professional. I will call him again!!

I hired Mr. Farrell to handle a ticket my daughter (Out of State student at USC) received after she had paid the ticket. She had not realized that paying the ticket is an admission of guilt (neither had I), and would result in her license being suspended in her home state (Georgia). Mr. Farrell had to file to reopen the case (successful) and get the ticketing officer to lower the speed (by more than 8mph) in order for her not to be considered a "super speeder" in her home state and have her license not suspended (a law applicable to only under 21 years of age). Mr. Farrell was very thorough and responsive and professional. He had a very good raport with the presiding judge (over in Aiken County).

In my case, Texas Tech University's Office of Student Conduct and Resolution Center were investigating allegations of Assault, Threat, and Intimidation, while Investigators for Lubbock county investigated a few criminal allegations. As someone who was looking forward to graduating, moving, and starting a professional career, I began to wonder how I would deal with these very serious allegations. I already knew that TTU has a track-record of being unfair and uncooperative when someone is accused of any wrongdoing on campus, so I became concerned that these false accusations would be upheld by TTU and that they would REVOKE all of my degrees. It did not take much thought to realize that I needed to hire Meghan, so I did. As soon as she started my case, I felt a sense of relief and comfort because I knew that I would not go through the process alone. After a few months of working with Meghan and her keeping in touch with the DA's office and the investigator, the DA's office determined that there was "No Merit" to the accusations made by the individual, so they left me alone; however, TTU refused to give it up. In fact, TTU continued pursuing this for almost an entire year. While TTU does not allow an accused individual to have representation, because, as they will continuously repeat, "this is not a legal process"; Meghan was still incremental. She communicated with TTU often, sat in all of the meetings and pre-hearings with me, and always had a game plan. Even when TTU would give us less than 24 hours to review 100 pages, Meghan was ready and prepared to answer all questions and to make corrections where needed. She worked as if it was her degrees and livelihood on the line, which I appreciated. Oddly enough, it appeared to me that she was actually liked by the people who handled my case at TTU, which only helped my case. Meghan also requested all evidence the DA's office collected to find no merit in the accusations, and she was able to retrieve it ALL. She then sent all of the evidence to TTU so that we could use it during the hearing. She also made sure that all of the information we ever sent was included in my file so that I could use it during my hearing because TTU will exclude favorable evidence. In fact, Meghan caught several mistakes made in the evidence TTU collected, evidence that we asked to be included in my file was not and should have been, and she made them change the wording or paraphrasing of key information to make it fair for me. TTU's process is not fair and they deprive people of their bare constitutional rights. I will say one thing about this experience: It takes a great lawyer to win a case, but it takes a master of the law to win a case in a world where there are no rules, rights, or fairness. Meghan is definitely a master when it comes to the law. A year later and TTU found me not responsible for the laundry list of allegations they charged me with. Not many attorneys handle these types of cases because they do not feel they can do anything because of how unfair TTU is and because they are unfamiliar with their made up rules, but Meghan certainly is not intimidated. I definitely recommend Meghan as an attorney, especially if you have to deal with TTU.

I hired Meghan in 2015 to fight an inflated DWI charge on my behalf. Not only did she resolve the case with the assistant D.A. before we ever saw the inside of a court room, but she succeeded in getting the charges dropped to a much more accurate and fair charge. Simply put, justice was achieved.
