Company is unresponsive and incompetent. Been trying to reach out to somebody for months trying to fix something they missed or neglected to do and have yet to get a response. Going to contact my attorney general just to get a response. Joke of a company

I worked with Nicole Clement and she is the WORST. She made so many mistakes. She did not send our escrow checks until my realtor reminder her, she didn't send the escrow check to the contractor who worked on our house until the realtor reminded her, she did not send in the money to the home warranty company and it got canceled on us. I have never known anyone so incompetent. I am ashamed to admit that we went with them because they have low prices. You get what you pay for.

Mailed a loan settlement check to the wrong bank and have been less than communicative on how they will fix it. Would not recommend to anyone.

Our settlement couldn’t of gone better. The settlement attorney, Richard Stern, was not only efficient and very knowledgeable, he also explained the details of the settlement in a way that was very easy to understand. His humor also added to a very good experience.

I can only speak for the great service I received from Mr. Joseph Sellers, Settlement Attorney, of the 3000 10th Street N Suite D, Arlington, VA 22201 office. I was in the midst of purchasing a home. I vetted three settlement companies by asking seven questions to each company. I have a "type A" personality, so I was looking to see who would be paying attention to the details and who would give me a thorough answer. I was also looking to see how long it would take for them to respond to me and if the title estimates they gave me were understandable. Mr. Sellers met my expectations and more. He answered all my questions thoroughly and promptly. The estimate sheet that he sent me was the easiest to read. He also was the only one who informed me that owners title insurance was optional. I ended up not purchasing the home due to a bad home inspection of the property. When I requested my earnest money deposit back, Mr. Sellers gave my refund back promptly. I received it one day after the contract was cancelled. If I ever go down this road again of purchasing a home in the DMV area, I will seek Mr. Sellers as my Settlement Attorney. Great customer service!

We closed on a sale on a Thursday with clear instructions the funding was required for a purchase the following day. Errors in paperwork and inability to follow through on tasks has created funding delays which have now been over 24 hours. Save yourself frustration and find another company.

Very friendly and professional!

Very poor service and expensive fees. Significant delay in the settlement of cash transaction. It will take much longer to close a financing transaction. Sending someone else's check to me did not give me a sincere apology. Too many mistakes. I am a real estate investor bought many properties for the past 11 years. This is the worst title company I have ever experienced. In order to post this review I have to give one star.

From my perspective as a Realtor, Mid-Atlantic Settlement Services is always responsive and nothing less than 100% professional. I work with them whenever possible.
