Rakesh Joshi is hands down The Best lawyer! I had much experience in the past, dealing with lawyers and none were so great and professional as him. My speeding ticket vanished and now I have a clean sheet, thanks to him! I don't live anywhere in Albany, and choosing a lawyer miles away from home is always risky. But as soon as I spoke to him, my confidence grew and I knew I had the best guy working to save my butt. Thanks Rakesh Joshi for the help

He's the worst lawyer ever...he won't answer your call or call you back..he didn't show up to my hearing...he was supposed to take care of a ticket for me. And never did...ya he's cheap...you get what you pay for....and he only takes cash..I wonder why.... you're better off getting a public defender....and look at that it took him a month to reply to my review....about how often he'll call you back.....and I did show up to all my court dates and I also have text message proof of you never calling me back....but the thing that bothers me so much is you told me you went up to court and they had no record of you being there...and you never told my and my license got suspended.... your trash

Rakesh was a huge help in getting my traffic ticket reduced! I would have ended up with a 4 point speeding ticket but ended up with a parking ticket and no points. He is easy to work with and his fees are extremely reasonable. I will be using him again in the future if needed!

I have a pretty extensive criminal history as well as a fairly extensive traffic ticket history. I have had my drivers license suspended 3 times, in July 2017 I was pulled over and issued my 3rd speeding ticket within an 18 month time period, this was a 4 point speeding ticket. At this time I also had 8 points on my license already. This meant that If found guilty of speeding I would exceed the 11 points that constitute a 6 month minimum suspension on my license. It also meant that if I was found guilty, the dmv would automatically revoke my license (the law states 3 or more speeding convictions within 18 months is automatic revocation). So needless to say no matter what happened I needed this speeding ticket to be reduced to a non speed with no more then 2 points in order to keep my license uninterrupted. The court in halfmoon didnt want to hear it they refused to reduce it to anything less then a 3 point speeding ticket due to my extensive driving record. So I decided I would find the best rated traffic ticket attorney I could find in the area. I always do my research and my research brought me to Rakesh Joshi. I met him very briefly outside of a courtroom, gave him cash and a handshake as he assured me it was as good as taken care of. He then proceeded to explain quickly that it was going to take some time to get the result I desired. Now I know the justice system quite well and I was well aware that he was going to have to haggle with the district attorney for some time until they realized Mr. Joshi wasnt gonna settle for anything less then the outcome I desired, so I told Mr. Joshi to take as much time as he needed to get the outcome. He thanked me for being understanding and said he would get it done. Months went by without us talking sometimes but I knew he was a very busy man and looking at his resume i knew he would get it done. 18 months after my 1st meeting with Rakesh Joshi, I recieved an email from him stating that the speeding ticket had been resolved with the exact outcome that I desired and Mr. Joshi thanked me for my patience in the matter. If you hire this attorney expect to be dealing with a busy man that is working hard every day, expect to deal with a guy that will not settle until he gets you the outcome you desire, and when you get the end result you will be very happy you chose Rakesh Joshi.

I found this lawyer through the google maps and discovered he had all 5 star reviews. At first he came on like a top lawyer. After taking my payment and speeding ticket information, he kept postponing my court date (which is normal) but I never got any updates to when the next one would be as I was anxious to not receive any points on my license. When I call kept calling him, he would never answer. Called him multiple times and finally got through when I called from my wife’s phone. He even missed a court date and court send me a failing to appear notice and told me my license would be suspended. He took care of the matter by contacting the court and getting a new date. He did eventually get my ticket reduced to a just a parking violation with no points. But the fact I had to keep calling him for a year really frustrated me. I expected to receive a email of postponement of my hearing and next court date. I had to keep calling him just to know what’s going on. Fyi, my ticket was in Sprakers, NY in Root Town Court
