I had a career ending DUI charge, in an area that is well-known for harsh DUI punishments. My case had multiple difficulties including, a BAC certificate of .14, a less than stellar field sobriety test video, multiple medical conditions, and I was driving a company vehicle. Mike and his staff were fantastic. They were quick to answer questions, provide updates and direction, and kept me informed on the progression of the defense strategy. On our day in court, Mike did a fantastic job of cross examining the arresting officer, and objecting to the prosecution's attempts at making their case. Mike was able to get the charge dismissed completely, and saved my career. I would recommend his counsel to anyone who is faced with a DUI.

I never leave bad reviews and in fact, this is the first one I’ve ever drafted and submitted anywhere but I feel compelled to warn others about Mike Tillotson and let them know of my very bad experience doing business with this attorney - Mike Tillotson. He is a good talker but in the end, I was out over $8,000 and he was unable to help me with a first conviction. I trusted him and stayed loyal to the end to my own detriment when I should have trusted my gut and jumped ship and got another attorney who would have actually went to bat for me. Lesson learned. If your intuition is telling you this man is a snake or a shark and not to be trusted, do yourself a favor and don’t keep giving money to this person expecting this person to fight for you. My life is ruined over trusting this man’s flowery words that he would fight for me and help me and he did absolutely nothing but make excuses and pitch his book. Please do not waste your money. This man is a good talker and loves to brag about his empty accomplishments but he will take your money with no remorse and make promises he can not keep. He simply is lacking in moral character and I am not saying this simply because he did not help me. I am saying this to caution others not to be so naive like I was. Take Heed!

I was arrested for a second DUI within 3 years. Mike Tillotson was able to get it reduced to a "DUI First" with only five days of jail time! I wound up serving one weekend in jail. This was an incredible outcome for me and my family. I only had to get interlock on my primary vehicle versus all of my family's vehicles if I had been convicted of a 2nd DUI. I will admit that I had many moments of anxiety leading up to my court date and that I did not fully understand Michael's strategy until my trial was underway. When the judge was reading her decision (regardless of the outcome), I was more than satisfied in Michael's diligent representation. I was found NOT GUILTY. Although I interpreted Michael as unorthodox and he left me wondering at times, I assure you that there is a method to his madness. This man knows exactly what he is doing and gives 100% of himself to his clients. He's worth every penny. I hope I never have to hire or recommend a DUI attorney ever again but if I do, it will be Michael Tillotson, hands down.

Mark Matney is a conscientious lawyer (good natured too) that will work on your behalf. His knowledge and expertise is exceptional. Watching him work the court room purposefully and meticulously let me know that he had experience— the man had a plan. It made me grateful to realize that there are some people that still care about pride in work and delivering good customer service while not nickel and diming you every step of the way. Rates are not cheap nor are they steep, but equitable. If I could put him on retainer for any possible future legal issues, whatever they could be, I would. What can I say about Michael Tillotson? Simply the best. He has a very deep understanding of the nuances of every single dui case. Simply put, he has a lot of experience.
