While all 14 places I called either requested a some form of consultation fee to even begin or did not have the knowledge, Paul called me back after hours to hear my story. He listened attentively and , while his practice background was different and was not totally familiar with the regulations, he promised me he will review the regulations and call me back. He got back to me in a very timely fashion and provided me optimal solution to move forward. Although my case did not have any substantial damages that could be a cut for the firm, he went above and beyond with minimal flat rate fee. I actually came on top, with better results than i expected so I am very satisfied and I think he is very deserving of the payment that I made; if not more.
He was very helpful in every sense, from beginning to end - I am not sure what else I can say about him but I just want to assure 5 star rating and you can not go wrong!

I am beyond impressed with the representation I received in my court case. I had a reckless driving for speeding ticket and got the desired result. I was outside the norm but this is the first lawyer that I have interacted with that was genuinely interested in doing everything he could for my case and knew my case before the trial day. I was instructed in everything I would need to do to get my desired result. I did extra community service than he recommended (120 hours vs 80) as well before trial and this helped as well. Richard helped me navigate the court day and was reassuring but honest as well as agile in the presentation of mitigating evidence. I have said as well too many times in this review but that should speak volumes to the care I received that I was not expecting. I am picky with service and they were great! 10/10 would highly recommend this law office for reckless speeding tickets over 90!

I could not have asked for a better lawyer Richard Wiley was one of thw best lawyers that I ever came across. Actually this is my first time I needed an lawyer and I was very skeptical about this sensitive case that I had but I would not have changed it in the world. Richard was very prompt, he was on time, he stayed communicated with me with things that changed, he went over and above his duties as a lawyer to represent me in my case. At the end of the case I was granted everything I wanted. Richard was persistent he stayed consistent and he wanted to make sure that i received the best outcome for my situation. Assuming no lawyer would touch my old workers comp case, I struggled on my own for several months attempting to build my case. I'm Canadian. I was in Seattle last June. I had a beer too many. I was charged with DUI. At my age and being a foreign national I was in trouble. I first spoke with Mr. Phillipson's law partner. She's amazing. Ms. Lundin assured me the process would be handled by herself and Mr. Phillipson.
I had a very good case. I was over the limit but registered .085. The law process is enormous. Do not proceed without calling this law firm. The amount of money I spent was very small compared to the imsurance implications alone.
We did not go to trial. A good lawyer is your best friend in any legal proceeding. I couldn't have been more pleased with the end result. I did not lose my licence. Mr Phillipson is very well respected within the WA legal community. I made two very brief trips back to Seattle and the matter was dealt with.
When you've been criminally charged in WA state, call Mr Phillipson. It will be the best phone call you will ever make.
I've learned much from this experience. Firstly, don't drink and drive. Secondly, pay to have a legal team take care of the way your feeling right now. You've made a mistake otherwise you wouldn't be reading this. Phillipson & Lundin gave me my life back.

I give Aaron Hemmings an A+++. I am from Maryland and my daughter was a passenger in an automobile traveling on I-95 coming home from Myrtle Beach where she was involved in a multiple auto collision. She was hurt but recovered after a year. I attempted to deal with the insurance casualty adjuster who made an offer that was insulting. I did my research and found the law firm of Hemmings and Stevens. Aaron took over and negotiated an offer that was nearly double the original offer. He did not stop there. He went after the trauma hospital where my daughter was taken and CIGNA Health Insurance Company to reduce their fees. Mr Hemmings is a fabulous lawyer, straight forward, honest, confident, and works with a great sense of timeliness. He is an excellent communicator too. I hired David to defend a contested restraining order that I had petitioned on an abusive person in my life, successfully. I had spoken with several offices prior to our initial phone call. Some wanted me to put down a substantial retainer before I even got to speak with one of their lawyers, some seemed eager to have me pay a relatively inexpensive rate for a quick sale on a newer/inexperienced attorney, and some needed to charge me a few hundred for the initial consultation. A couple of others gave me a free consultation but it didnt seem that they had a niche in the particular type of restraining order I had petitioned. While I respect that there are myriad business models out there, David's appealed to me because his initial consultation was free to hear me out (before I knew that I wanted to hire him), he immediately spoke with competence and wisdom regarding the particulars of my case, and his "flat fee" model was unique and attractive. His price seemed fair in the end (I could have spent less, I could have spent more) but was well justified by his experience. The fact that this case may have been dragged out into additional hours was eased by me knowing that I would never be charged for anything extra regardless of how long it took. It is my understanding that many attorneys will nickel and dime you to hire them for additional "surprise" hours and may even lie/pressure you about the false need for it, but David (who is aware of the ill-perception of attorney practices) found a creative flat-fee solution to control for this. The flat-fee structure means that he sees the job through to the end regardless of how long it takes. You know that one honest mechanic that you recommend to all of your peers because it seems that every other one out there has a history of trying to sell you extra services that you didnt need but were naive about? Well David can well be compared to that honest mechanic but for the world of lawyers. He seemed to have had an "indie" vibe to him as opposed to the mainstream giant law office lawyers I had interviewed prior to. Regardless, he was able to be confrontational to my opponent as I needed him to be and very knowledgeable. Its clear that even though I strongly considered being self-represented (which David even suggested that I reasonably could and didnt *need* to hire anyone), my case was stronger because I had him fighting it for me. The numerous amounts of evidence I had were more organized and presented to a stronger effect much to the chagrin of my opponent. I'll say it again: his price structure and business model give him more integrity than other lawyers since it removes the incentive for billing for additional "surprise" hours. There isnt any real way for him to take advantage of his clients this way and I think that that's worth its weight on its own.
