My partner and I were involved in a cycling accident (hit by a car) and suffered serious injuries. We were new to the area and trying to figure out which was the best lawyer seemed such a task while in recovery. A few lawyers were recommended to us, one of which was A.J.Mitchell. After speaking with him on the phone and then meeting him in person we were positive that he was the one to choose. He was caring, compassionate, personable and genuine and took ample time to make sure all of our questions were answered and all information was gathered. Mr. Lockhart was very involved from the moment he took my case and went above and beyond for both myself and my family. He drove over an hour on more than one occasion to make sure he had everything he needed from me (I had lots of relevant documented information), and then he used that information expertly. He also made sure my family's questions were answered and their fears were calmed as best he could. Mr. Bradford worked hard behind the scenes and together as a team they achieved results that can only be described as a best case scenario. Results I hoped for, but couldn't have reasonably expected, until it happened! My case was resolved without me ever having to formally appear in court, something I didn't even believe was possible. A situation that could have gone very badly instead was completely turned around due to Mr. Lockhart's expert use of the information at hand and the skilled negotiation done on my behalf by both Mr. Bradford and Mr. Lockhart. David was very knowledgeable in how to handle my criminal case. He tackled it head on from the initial consultation with out hesitancy and was able to give me multiple outcomes and solutions from best case scenario to the worst and I hadn't even hired him yet!. I had court coming up in 2 weeks facing an aggravated assault charge and I was on edge for months about this so I hired him and that was the best decision I've ever made. In 2010, I got in a horrible car accident. I told myself: "God forbid, if I was to ever get into another accident, I would call a lawyer." I made the mistake the first time by not calling one (for that I ended up with NOTHING). In 2013, I got into another car accident. I opened up the yellow book and searched for a good lawyer, but was confused because there were so many. I asked my oldest brother for advice and he said, "hands down, Carlson Law Firm." We had the pleasure of having Nick represent my wife in a very serious matter where a DWI was alleged. The penalty would have been 6 months of jail time and all sorts of other things. Nick was able to scrutinize the discovery and find flaws in the state's case--enough that the prosecutor decided to drop that charge and my wife pleaded to a lesser charge which kept her out of jail. He even fought to try to have them drop that charge, but the prosecutor wouldn't. All in all, we are happy with the outcome.
Personality-wise, Nick takes a keen interest in his clients and values them as individuals. You would think you were talking to a long-time friend. He listens carefully to you, appraises the legal angles of everything in your case, and in his own prosecutorial experience is able to make a good assessment of how the case can/will go. We were so pleased that we are going to use him anytime we may have other matters that arise. You can't go wrong when your attorney is a real human being with a heart.

Jerry literally helped us when we felt we had nowhere or no one to go to. My husband and I purchased a brand new 2021 Ford Explorer so I can drive around with our 5 boys. We only had about 1k miles and the car caught fire! I was 4 months pregnant at the time and scared to death. We attempted to go through Ford in hopes that we could get some resolution…all they did was pressure wash the engine and change the alternator. I was so afraid of driving my explorer that it just sat in the driveway catching dust. Jerry not only got Ford to pay off our vehicle and take it back, but we received compensation to purchase a new vehicle that we can drive around safely in with our 6 boys. I feel extremely lucky to have found Keith Marcus after my dog and I were attacked by a huge Dogo Argentino with no owner in sight. Against the odds, and counter to what I was told by all the other lawyers I spoke with beforehand, he was able to obtain compensation for my dog's injuries and his life-saving treatments, which ended up costing thousands of dollars.
