I have seen Neal Howard in a handful of capacities. I have observed him in my role as a trial judge, as co-counsel and as a mediator. Neal Howard offers superior legal service. "Caution" in this review is unwarranted in that he knows what he's doing, can try a strong case and genuinely cares for his clients, colleagues and the bench. When my daughter was badly injured due to a defective bicycle, I was turned down by several attorneys in town. Thank goodness for that, or I would never have found these guys. Jermey tiedt was the only attorney who actually took time to listen to my case and my needs as a client. I contacted Bill Hayes to represent me regarding a traffic ticket which I got for making a left turn where a left turn was not allowed. I was very impressed in the initial consultation with the knowledge and experience of this attorney. Mark went above and beyond to help me with a car accident I was in. He took care of everything from working with the other person's insurance company as well as the rental car place. Mark took care of things I would have never known to do, and made sure I was fairly compensated. Unfortunately a few years later I was in another car accident, where my car was totaled. I of course hired Mark again and he did not disappoint. He was very direct and to the point in explaining the whole process. My case was then assigned to Bridget Lawler. I’ve never left a review before but I really wanted to share my experience in hopes someone else can benefit the way I did.
Long story short-
I had what I assumed was a case so I called a law firm that I’d seen on billboards who represented injury victims. After I explained to them in great detail my situation they told me they couldn’t help me and hung up. Reading between the lines, my case wasn’t worth it. Months later my dad heard about Johnston Law/El Abogado Miguel. I didn’t feel like recounting my situation to another lawyer who would turn us away but my dad made an appointment to go in anyway. Brent was a friendly guy, he listened empathetically and reassured us that the hospital bills I was swimming in were not my responsibility to pay. He worked with us for over a year and just like that my hospitals bills were taken care of. My entire experience with Johnston law was nothing but great. From beginning to end Brent would check in regularly to see how we were & to give us updates. That left a huge impression on us.

I was in an auto accident March of 2016 that was 100% the fault of the other driver. I had minor injuries but annoying pain that will be with me for the rest of my life. Tired of being jerked around by the other insurance company for over a year, I made a few calls to see what my options were. 2 lawyers would not take my case due to a gap in medical care because of work travel. Where do I begin? Greyson exceeded my expectations! From the first day I met him - he took a genuine interest in my life, my injuries & getting to know me. He made me feel very comfortable and assured me he would fight for me. And fight for me he did!
I was injured in a slip and fall nearly 5 years ago, it was an independent cleaning company that was mopping. They denied any liability and actually tried to place the blame on me. In August 2012, I suffered several major injuries after falling from a third story window that had not been properly kept up to current safety code regulations. I had gone to dinner with a guy I had just started dating a few weeks prior and decided to sleep at this house instead of driving home after drinking a couple glasses of wine. Some time after we had gone to sleep, I woke up in a daze on the ground - my hands were dangling from my wrists, I couldn't remember where I was, and I was trying to get help. It wasn't until later in the ER that I found out I had fractured several vertebrae that resulted in me needing a large spinal fusion, I had fractured my sacrum and sternum, and severely fractured both wrists which needed to be repaired through the insertion of hardware. I had fallen from a window that could be pushed open with less than three pounds of pressure and that had a windowsill 19 inches in height (which fell right at my kneecap). My entire world had changed overnight--I felt like I was 22 going on 90 and knew my life would never really be the same again.
Two years later, I was in contact with Greyson at the Simon Law Group to help me prove that the building owners' negligence was the direct cause of my injuries. I'm not going to sugarcoat this--going into litigation after suffering a traumatic injury through a traumatic event is like signing yourself up for voluntary PTSD.
