Honestly I don't know where to begin, I have so many wonderful things to say. I'll start by saying that she's not only a professional with regards to her craft, but she's also very "human" (if you will) and genuinely concerned for her clients. My only regret is that I didn’t meet these men soon enough. I had spent a ton of money on my first lawyer to defend my son on a very complicated case. Without charging me a dime, Greg Smith and Jordan Haycock reviewed our case, did some digging, and met with my son before they even decided to take it over. I AM SO GRATEFUL THEY DID! We were beyond pleased with the professional, pro-active, and supportive experience we had with Justin. We hired Justin to help our son with a legal issue in Logan. He is very knowledgeable and experienced, which gave us confidence and piece of mind. As our case had some specific nuances with little precedent in Utah, Justin did his own research and read the information suggested by my son to make sure he was both fully prepared for any legal implications and to understand my son's reasons for involvement.
Justin personally guided us through multiple court appearances. I really appreciated his willingness to be available to my son and us for questions and concerns as the process continued.
Along the way, Justin was pro-active in working with the prosecutor which resulting in having some of the charges reduced and some dismissed. I got myself into a bit of trouble and sought out the most reputable lawyer in Salt Lake City and his thorough and detailed attention can’t be overstated. I always felt that I was in safe hands through the entire process. This was my first time dealing with the court system and I don’t live in Utah so it was a pretty confusing situation. My daughter found herself in a world of trouble after a New Year's Eve gone terribly wrong. She was arrested and charged with multiple felonies and misdemeanors. After doing searches online, I am beyond grateful we called and Joe Messineo was on the other end. I was pulled over by UHP in Tooele County, Utah in March of 2017, leading to several misdemeanor possession counts of marijuana. As a California resident and student, as well as a prior record, I was extremely woeful of my situation.
I called Smoland Law and spoke to Dain. He explained to me the best course of action. If I had questions, Dain would respond within the day. A few months later, I received an email from Dain, letting me know that my case had been dismissed. I was looking at 90 days in jail with 5 years of parole. Ed got me 72 hours in jail and 6 months parole. He may be more expensive up front, but he saved me hundreds of dollar on the back end. His fees were less than what I would paid in fines and court costs. Not to mention, he allowed me to get over this hump quickly and get my life back on track.

Mr. David Mckenzie is the person you want on your side when you are in a bad situation. I consulted him when i was going thru a lot of stress regarding my case. He is not greedy like some other lawyers i came across when i was actually looking to consult/ hire. First off I had a warrant for my arrest. I contacted Craig Kadish and hired him to represent me. Within 2 days the warrant was squashed and I had a court date issued.
I allegedly owed $5,000 for damages to the car that was taken. At the first appearance we made a deal that didn't require me to plead guilty, which I was very happy about. At the second and final appearance the plaintiff didn't even show up! I can't promise that Craig will make your plaintiff disappear but he sure made mine!!!!!

Mr. Flohr was hired by our family to navigate the sticky, complicated mess that our loved one got into due to his mental health issues. There were three separate cases all at once. I was given a referral to Chris and I went to see him at the lowest time in my life. He spent 2 hours with me going over my case and he REALLY listened to me. It was like talking to a friend/therapist/lawyer. He REALLY cared. He knew the pros and cons of different approaches because he's been doing it for so long. I consulted with this attorney, and although I don't think I am the right fit as a client of their firm, I do think I would've came out on top with this gentleman in my corner. We talked for a little over 34 minutes and in that time he shared valuable knowledge about how we could go about this, what the possible outcomes could be, what to expect price wise, and even strategy wise in regards to meeting with his team. He also seemed very upbeat and on the ball with getting all of the relevant information and determining how to utilize it in the most effective ways. I thank you for your time and the service you are providing to our community. He also talked about how their firm is asked by the Bar association to donate and how they attend some government officials yearly parties and such, meaning they are also well connected with these people and work with them regularly. The only reason I couldn't go with this guy (although I wanted to) was the price - and I'm not saying him and his firm aren't worth it, I truly believe they are, but as a ~21 year old (staying vague for privacy) saving up for a car the price he told me was 1/4 of what I received from insurance for my totaled vehicle, and I just couldn't at this time justify that purchase in my head when I am needing other, tangible assets at this time. I was frank with him and more or less told him this, and he tried to assure me it was worth it to not risk losing my freedoms or having this backfire, which I don't disagree with, but again, I can't justify that spending on a single day in court for something I didn't even do... Thanks again to Thomas for teaching out, not only once, but twice after I missed his call and couldn't catch him when I returned it. Maybe someday in the future when I am more financially stable I will utilize your services to the fullest!

I had two cases with mister Papirmeister. In both cases he got me no jail time. My first gun case he got me three years probation no jail time. My second gun case he won my motion to suppress evidence which ended up getting the case thrown out. Overall a good man who cares for his clients.

He was very well focused on the goal when he was in the court room. My husband was facing a firearms felony charge that could of affected us all including family and friends. Mr. Felsen gave me both the pros and cons to each decision that would be made on my end. He was a diamond in a rough. I wasnt just another number to him. I could tell he truly cared. He also is a monster in the court room and knows law very well. He knows when to be aggressive. My situation is very weird and was a challenging one, but he came through and won our cases. Can’t recommend Jason enough! I was in a terrible living situation, when everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. I ended up being charged with several erroneous charges, including a serious felony charge. We had a jury trial scheduled for next week, and at the last minute Jason convinced them to drop all the charges. Throughout the process he was focused, calm, and helpful. It's hard to put into words on how professional and hard working Hope is. My case was extremely complex and one of kind in many ways. From our very first initial meeting ( which was also during the COVID pandemic) I explained to him details of what happened when I was wrongly accused for something and charged for injury to an elderly. I told him I had all my documentation and sent it straight over to his office from that he told me exactly what he was going to do without having to go any further into prolonging the case. He got my case dismissed and I never had to go to court expect for the very first time and that was to sign for a court appointed attorney and I was blessed with him. I was facing sexual assault charges and had plead guilty to a misdemeanor with another lawyer. With the plea, I was required to register as a sex offender. this was the absolute worst time of my life. My only chance out of this situation would be a successful reconsideration appeal. Our son got caught in Williamson County with contraband in his car. Blair did a great job explaining options and how, since this was his first offense and drug testing proved he wasn't using, the odds were good that he could get the case dismissed. Very reasonable fee for the services provided, ended up getting the case dismissed and is also working on getting an early expunction. Hope I never have to use him again, but wouldn't hesitate to if needed. Did a great job!
