Gray was amazing!! He was always professional, informative and patient. He went above and beyond in explaining the process and constantly fighting for my best interest. I was here reviewing my current lawyer, and thought “why not leave my first lawyer a review”?
Nick got me everything I needed in my initial divorce petition and temporary orders. Even majority custody of my children due to DV which was amazing.
His downfall - Not wanting/ability to withstand a long holding case. *Important for people in my DV similar circumstance*
Once my temporary divorce orders passed, he did not want to continue the case because in his words allegedly over a phone call “If your ex is the abuser you claim him to be and his family has money, I’d feel guilty taking any more money from you because your ex will not relent”. - which is valid, but not comital.
Detrimental to anyone experiencing relentless Domestic Violence.
Note: He DID cover a extra hearing he wasn’t required to under our contract. - This leaves me believing there was a miscommunication between expertise and compensation. I didn't understand that at the time. I wish he was more transparent. He could’ve billed me and I’d have paid him.
Then over a phone call told me it’d cost be $15,000.00 upfront to deal with someone like my ex husband. That was saddening.
Where did that leave me? Having to find another attorney to learn my details. Finding another attorney who understood that amount was unrealistic (for myself) upfront.
He was also hesitant in believing my domestic violence claims. Which is already hard as a survivor and not something you need extra from your lawyer.
Nick did get confused on travel dates I had (I mentioned to him at least 3 times) which caused me to have to purchase extra tickets to return for a child exchange. He blamed me for not reminding him prior to the hearing - but he knew I had mentioned it in general. He generously offered to pay for return tickets acknowledging it was his mistake. This was extra gracious of him.
But if you’re needing a long-standing attorney - who isn’t just in it for the wam and bam, this might make practice questionable. Only leaving my open opinion here for those in a situation similar to mine and looking for long-standing representation.
He did amazing law wise is good hearted. But maybe not so much for my extensive needs and being transparent. Which is critical in a relentless DV case like mine. Now I’m happily continuously paying a different attorney. No billing confusion and they’ve learned my details since the beginning of my case. Like everything in life trial and error - not all (people) attorneys are for everyone and that’s totally okay. Nick was great but it didn’t match

I met with several defense attorneys from an online search after being charged with a DUI, all of which were qualified and personable. I represented myself in a civil protection order case for almost two years. It was exhausting and took a huge toll on my mental and physical health. My 20-year-old son is a good kid who's had a rough childhood. Critical self-esteem issues drove many of his decisions that resulted in several serious and varied charges across 4 different jurisdictions over a 10 month period. It was a mess that Attorney Kippa handled for us even though we complicated it by following through with our plan to move out of state immediately upon retaining him. I was extremely stressed and scared because I had been charged with driving while license was suspended, a gross misdemeanor, in Benton county which is hours away from where I live. I was also unable to make it to court because I couldn't drive and they didn't respond to my request to appear online, so I had an FTA and warrant on top of it. I was definitely facing jail time.
Joyce took care of everything and the DWLS2 was amended to a minor infraction with only a small fine. I didn't even have to appear, in person or virtually. I absolutely, 100% recommend her and I'm grateful that I was referred to her. This issue had been keeping me anxiously awake at night for months and now its all gone. Thank you Joyce!!!

First and foremost, I want to start off by giving a Million Thanks to Corey Mehlos for being an amazing lawyer and for always keeping Myself and my husband up to date with every detail of his case and for fighting for him and seeing the good in him and not the “Criminal “that they viewed him as.
In 2021 my Husband was hit with a Conspiracy Charge that held a sentence of 52 years. When we got this devastating news, we did not know what to because at the time we had no money for a lawyer because I was putting myself through college at the time and I was not working then that year we were blessed with Money and was able to afford a lawyer just to find out months later that he could no longer represent my Husband due to a conflict of interest and he has to drop my husband as a client. Me and my Husband are big on Our Faith and Trust that no matter what with God we will always find a way. I prayed for months for God to send me someone that he knew would fight for my husband. I remember the very first conversation I had with Corey and I knew in my heart that this was the Man that was going to fight for my husband and he did just that. I found myself in a situation that carried significant legal implications. Upon speaking with Les and reviewing my case, I felt confident letting go of the stress I was harboring related to the case. Megan made the whole DUI process a lot less intimidating. She gave me all the info on what I needed to do and got me all the DOL paper work instead of me having to round it all up. She took my case to a Jury trial because the prosecutor thought he had it in the bag. After she told the jury all the evidence it was dropped to a lesser charge. I was happy with the outcome and would hire Megan again.

I was extremely panicked when I contacted my local lawyer regarding an out-of-state traffic ticket issue that became a very serious issue for me. They referred me to Andrew Mishlove.

Andrew not only helped me though a very traumatic experience by giving me honest, blunt advice, but after he looked at my case he gave me his "gameplan" on our defense and it made total sense! From his very first consolation to the end, he never told me what I wanted to hear (like other lawyers told me) & always gave me excellent legal advice.
As for the court room...Andrew is a BULLDOG! He filed at least 4 or 5 motions that were denied by the judge, but he didn't quit. My next phone call, he had a different strategy in mind, and when he took that to the Milwaukee County DA, he chose to dismiss all charges. WOW!
Also, Andrew has been around in the DUI game for over 30 years! It seemed like he knew everyone & everyone knew him. I know personal contacts are not supposed to mean anything in the justice system, but come on, we all know...it's who you know!
It is true, Andrew is more expensive than other attorneys, but you have to consider what you are getting for the higher fee. You could go with a PD, but they have so many cases and aren't paid alot, so your odds are terrible! I'm sure they're are some hard working PD's out there, but let's be honest. Then you could go with a lawyer that charges less but I guarantee you will get what you paid for!
With Andrew, you do get what you paid for...a HIGH class DUI defense with a super knowledgeable attorney who will fight his tail off for you.
If it's not obvious...I HIGHLY recommend Andrew Mishlove with all my being!

In 2014, I was charged with a first-time OWI in Wisconsin that was due to prescription drug use. It was clear to me that it was going to prove to be a very difficult case, so I searched extensively for the “best” attorney I could find in the Southeastern Wisconsin area. I met and spoke with several of the “best” recommended. There were some “best” attorneys who weren’t even interested in representing my case as they deemed it was “unwinnable” and not “worth their time”. I was shocked by that response. Luckily I found Andrew Mishlove. While Andrew never said he was going to win my case, he also never said it was not “winnable”. Andrew was honest, straight-forward and very direct. I received a driving infraction for "per electronic device while driving" from the WSP in Pierce County, WA. I chose Ms. Gallinger because she has a very good reputation within our community (Military).
