I have enlisted the services of Esquire Christopher Carr on multiple occasions.
Every time Chris has been very efficient and successfully completed the tasks.
Chris takes the extra time to communicate and collaborate with me making sure I am
satisfied with his work.
One example is that I had an offer from an agency to purchase my timeshare that I no longer
wanted. The offer was presented very professionally and appeared to legitimate. Chris and
I collaborated together on investigating the agency. Chris spent considerable time and
research and was able to determine that the agency was not legitimate and was an elaborate
scam. This saved me a lot of time, money, and frustration had I done this alone.
Another example of Chris's expertise was getting all my and my fiancee's wills and power of attorney
documents completed in a timely fashion.
Most recently Chris assisted me in getting my Property Tax re-assessment completed.

I called Mr Murtha after hours tonight and he graciously answered his phone. I told him of some threats my landlord made regarding my departure from my apartment and not getting my deposit returned. Mr Murtha clearly explained my rights and put me at ease, knowing i would not need his services but at the same time still treating me like a long standing client. We traveled internationally in November 2019 and had $11,000 of fraudulent transactions made on our credit card. After trying to resolve this directly with Citi for 6 frustrating months without success we engaged Michelle. Michelle and team were responsive and transparent. I felt like I knew what my options were at every point in the process and had enough information to make an informed decision on next steps. Michelle started by trying to navigate similar channels we had tried (lower cost option for me) and when it became clear that wouldn't be effective, we changed course to take legal action which fully resolved the matter within less than 6 weeks. I was happy with the settlement - we were reimbursed for all fraudulent charges, legal fees and a couple hundred dollars for statutory damages.

I don’t typically write any reviews but Shiela was so Amazing from the initial consult to the end of the case that she deserves people to know what a professional, compassionate, kind attorney she is. Karen Gesund handled my case, she’s straight forward, answers her phone and responded very quickly to an email I believe it was a weekend. When a debt collector in my words, “tried to get me,” by suing me, she backed them off me. She settled my case for less than half of what was owed. Received a judgement for a credit card l defaulted on over 10 years ago, they were going to take 25% of my wages by garnishing my paychecks. Over the years I avoided the paperwork and didn’t have the money to pay it off. Looking all over the internet for a local consumer attorney to guide me through this situation. While l was reading reviews l came across Mr. Fred Schwinn and just go in my car and drove over to his office. Upon my arrival Fred met me at the entrance and right away took me back to his office and looked up my case. Fred instructed me to go pick up some paperwork for him downtown, with paperwork in hand the next morning I was back in Fred’s office, sat down and discussed a few things with Fred and he, of course, just happened to know the collection agency that garnished my wages. An old debt that I had tried to settle on multiple occasions came back to haunt me when a collection company transferred a judgment from another state. My wages were garnished for the maximum of 25% to not only pay off the debt, but to pay for over $6,000 in legal/collection fees. I found Steve Craig online and asked via email to meet with him. He responded within 4 hours! We met and Steve explained to me the options I had available and what I should do. During that very first meeting, Steve had the collection company on the phone and let them know that I could file bankruptcy and dismiss their garnishment. He then negotiated a settlement that was less than the original debt and set up a reasonable (less than 8% of my wages) payment plan that lasted only 4 months. Amazing work by Steve!

It took a while to settle our case; however, Natalie kept us positive by encouraging us to remain calm and let the things law of work. I had about a 6K debt from a loan I defaulted on from a creditor because I was unable to keep up with the monthly payments as a single parent. The creditor sent a sheriff to my home to demand I show up for court and make the payment in full. I was embarrassed, saddened and extremely distraught. I reached out to Heather who was so kind and sympathetic to my situation. She was able to facilitate a monthly payment plan with the creditor which was great. As I was making monthly payments, I began to have some unforeseen circumstances and once again fell in the "no payment" trap. The creditor then sent wage garnishment paperwork to myself and my job. Back in 2015 I lost my job of 15 years. I had two debts that I could not afford to make payments. I received court papers on one of the debts in the later part of 2017. I had stopped by my mailbox on the way to work on a Monday morning, and in there was a mailing for Heather Benveniste. I opened it at work and decided to contact Heather, and I am so glad that I did.
