Very poor communication and lack of respect. Literally the Best Law firm in Town!!! They treated me so well! From my first consultation with Troy when I explained to him my situation and he told me “we can make that all go away” I was like ain’t no way, this is just too good to be true! Lol Felt like I had won the lottery and walked out of that office crying happy tears! To then getting all of my paperwork together with Katherine and the payment process, under my circumstances and financial situation, they were extremely patient with me! To one who always put the bow on top, the front desk receptionist, Beyonca! She’s always so brought joy to my day even when I wassnt having a good day. I’d call the office to check on things and just hearing her voice always made my day better. This is a Really Really Great Team! Only a 3 month process and they Definitely had my back all the way Through! I did Not know that I could get a fresh start just like that! DO NOT!! Use this place!! Their a complete SCAM!!! I was told I was “ refinancing” my bankruptcy to lower my payments I was told I was in a three-year bankruptcy welcome to find out. I was in a five year and it reported as a brand, new reopened bankruptcy, and I was paying money, and none of my money was being distributed to my creditors The Rhapsody was ruining my life. I couldn’t even move my kids and I because this bankruptcy so I asked for a dismissal to go through debt consolidation will come to find out. I was only paying on my car that I plan to turn over to the bank anyways so I was tied in this bankruptcy and worst situation and was never told, and I did ask Derek about getting rid of my car and he told me to keep it but the only reason he told me is because he knew I was only paying on that car and I had no clue!! I was scammed out of so much money. and when I told Derek, the lawyer that I didn’t know, it was a brand new bankruptcy. All he told me was sorry for the miscommunication! there is no way possible this place should have a 4.9star rating!!! WATCH OUT before you end up in my situation!!

I had a very complex case before the Erie Co. Family Court. I wish I met Anthony Cervi, Esq. years ago. I was dealing with opposition who cares about nothing but themselves; not the child. Gary Merenstein was very professional and knowledgeable regarding my particular situation. He deals with debt attorneys and litigation on a regular basis. Gary will take the time to review your information and case and give you the best advice he can on how to proceed and what to expect every step of the way. Gary knows the debt collection industry and how to deal with both the collectors themselves as well as their attorneys and adjuncts. He not only went out of his way to get me the best outcome possible but he tried to figure out all possible ways to make them pay ME for not following the rules and laws concerning debt collection possible. When Gary is on your side the opposing lawyers and collectors pay attention to your case more (in my experience, as I started the process pro se, representing myself, and they were unresponsive to my outreaches until I had Gary) and are more willing to negotiate a better settlement. I would highly recommend anyone that has debt collection letters, issues, or lawsuits to speak with Gary about them and he will advise you as to the best courses of action.

This man did nothing for me than merely dot the "I's" n cross the "T's" he was in the pocket of the opposition. He did not give me a monthly statement or any kind of tally of my money that he was supposedly doing anykind of work for me that would justify it. I would not recommend this so called attorney to anyone. This man can't not get past his arrogant and self-seated personality. At the end when he asked me for more money out of nowhere n I stated that before I just handed him more money that I needed a game plan n he refused n when I demanded one he just wouldn't give me one he just wanted my money for doing absolutely nothing... I recently hired Roger to help me revise my custody arrangement for my two children. I am extremely happy with the results as well as the entire management of my case from start to finish. I am confident this is the last time I’ll have to return to court regarding the custody of my minor children as Roger was so effective in resolving the case to their benefit. I would highly recommend Roger to anyone dealing with a difficult custody situation. You have to be willing to listen to Roger’s advice and expertise. He knows the ins and outs of the court system, understands the tough relationship dynamics at play in divorce and custody agreements, and will be your best advocate as long as you are willing to do your part as well!
I also really appreciated Roger’s use of the MyCase software. This web-based platform contained all of our appointments, communication, files, invoices, etc. He kept everything very organized on the site and I always knew what was the status of the case, the next steps, and what to expect. The transparency on my case was very important! Best experience I’ve ever had with case management.
And as a bonus… before I worked with Roger, I had a lot of anxiety surrounding attorneys, similar to the “white coat syndrome” that many people experience around doctors. Roger calmed my anxiety not just in regards to my custody case, but also my anxiety around attorneys in general. He is not just a great attorney, but a great human and it shows in all that he does. He made me so comfortable, I’m now in a serious relationship with a wonderful man who also happens to be an attorney!

Rizwan is a personable individual, but I wouldn’t trust him with serious matters. He earned his law degree later in life and seems to still be finding his footing. What stands out most is his expectation to haggle. He demands a high fee; a much larger, well-established law firm with multiple offices and a team of lawyers handled the same work for a third of Rizwan’s asking price. To make matters worse, he charges a non-refundable consultation fee, something most reputable firms don’t do. His office was in poor condition, and there were no other clients present. It’s disappointing—while you may want to support him due to shared cultural ties, his approach feels exploitative.
