I was going through a difficult divorce (which I'm sure most are) it was a very hard time, and the other side was always playing dirty with lies and constant tricks up their sleeves.
I'm so grateful for Darren, because he was always fair and did the right thing, and that's what helped us win along with Darren being professional but at the same time very caring.
I appreciate his help, knowledge and thoroughness.
Darren will always take your call, talk and explain things to you, which is important because most of us don't know or even understand all the laws, and how they work etc.
If your going through a divorce (even a messy one) I highly recommend Mr. Shapiro.

I realized my ex had no intention to contribute to my son's college costs. I was feeling frustrated and defeated. I needed help. I called Darren Shapiro and left a voice message. I contacted Darren Shapiro for information regarding the direct adoption process of my son. He explained the process to me in a clear manner and was patient with me as I asked questions. Throughout the process, he explained what may happen and how we will approach each step. He also offered me ways to cut costs and was understanding when I needed a payment schedule. I turned to Brooke after hiring another firm to initiate my divorce, however that firm failed miserably and took thou$and$ of dollars. Sadie immediately went to work on my case, filing only necessary motions, arguing what needed to be done, and getting it done. She did in 8 months what my previous firm failed to do over 3 years, and at half the cost. My divorce was resolved fairly and reasonably with McMorrow Law there every step of the way.

Brooke helped us with a difficult family issue Complicating the issue was the fact that it was an interstate issue but Brooke prevailed. We never felt as though she wasn’t completely involved in solving our problem. She was in constant contact with us and while the issue became more complicated as she progressed, she never lost a step. She pitched a perfect game.

This review is unique in that Brooke represented my husband in divorce proceedings. The lawyer I hired, Deborah Iwanyshyn, I could fill this page with complaints, but this is about Brooke. I feel Brooke kept interest in what is best and fair with both parties in my divorce. After dismissing my lawyer, I was able to speak with Brooke and she wasted no time in completing the process. I got replies to emails in the same day with the up most professional responses. I believe Brooke truly cares about her clients and gets a 5 star in my review!

I am so thankful that I had Andrea as my representation. I have been back and forth with custody of my son for years due to false allegations. I had several other lawyers that were not half the lawyer Andrea is. She is passionate about getting results, but also is very to the point. She made things happen in my case that previous lawyers couldn't. To say she is dedicated, wouldn't be enough. That’s what I thought about the service rendered by Andrea B Williams. I was in a unique situation and she worked to determine what was needed to resolve my case. She approached every angle to make sure every question or requirement would be addressed. My unmarried daughter died of COVID after delivering a newborn infant by an emergency c-section. The expectation was to be in sedation on the ventilator until are lungs were stronger. She was never able to sign to get the birth certificate and name the father of the child. Neither the father nor myself was able to apply for the birth certificate. Andrea made certain that an emergency hearing was set and we were granted a final hearing at that time so that benefits could begin. She was stern and straightforward and communicated with me to keep me informed. She was also very affordable for the amount of time dedicated to this case. She's Family to me now! Even 9yrs after my case! She got me custody of my 3 kids, and the stipulations to my divorce, custody, visitation rights for the other party, and child support setup anyway we felt fit per the judge, in the most minimal and I to the day possible to complete the case! Amanda let me know up front what we were dealing with on the divorce. She never gave me false information or never told me what I wanted to hear Amanda always told me the truth from the very start even if I did not want to hear it. Mysti Murphy's office did a great job handling my custody case. They made sure I understood every last detail of what is to be expected from start to finished. After 6 years of struggling to finalize a horrific divorce, I turned to Georgia Petrie and the team at Heritage Law Firm. There were difficult challenges to face. I was states away from home in a area I was unfamiliar with 2 children. Finances were tough. There was a long military family life history. Many lawyers in this area did not understand military life challenges, laws, and rights. Georgia did. I was also harassed, given wrong information to try to scare me into making unwise decisions. I had some serious difficulties with another firm and went to see Glenn for a consultation . He offered me some reassurance and encouraged me to finish my case with the firm I already hired and paid. He told me that if I still felt unsatisfied that he would be happy to take on my case, but that he didn't want me to waste money unnecessarily. He spent the remainder of the hour talking to me and explained how the legal system worked and by the end of our meeting I felt like a weight was lifted from my shoulders.
This was not my only consultation with Glenn, I met him on another occasion and again he offered me sound advice that would save me time and money when I wanted some documents modified.
He really is an honorable and honest guy. For any legal matters, I will only be going to him and his firm from here on out.

I first came across Christine Gallagher when I started researching for the absolute best divorce attorney in town. Two different firms recommended her as the best. I'd have to say that they were right. Christine is articulate, intelligent, conducts herself with integrity, but most of all, she is a warrior at heart. She won a case for me that was far from being cut and dried. I feel like she really went over and above for us, and will always be appreciative of the supreme effort she put into this. Worth every penny of the money spent!
On a side note, I retained Christine ten years ago as well to represent me through a divorce that ended up being reconciled. (Should have followed through, all I did was prolong the inevitable as it turned out). Anyway, at the time of reconciliation, she returned a large sum of the retainer money to me. That was unexpected at the time, I thought we had likely burned through all of it by that point, and I never would have questioned it if she hadn't contacted me to return the remainder. That type of integrity is rare these days!
If you find yourself in this terrible situation of needing a family law attorney, I do not believe that anyone better is out there, for any sum on money. She is awesome.

Rehab. Center in Manhattan's U.E.S. (where my husband was a patient).

I hired Mr David Hudson to help me fight for custody of my granddaughters. My daughter passed away and I had had custody for approximately 2 yrs before their dad decided he wanted them. Hiring Lisa as my attorney was the second best decision I made in my divorce...after the decision to get divorced. I had initial consultations with 3 attorneys - all came well recommended and were professional. But only Lisa struck me as immediately "getting" the issues with my ex, and she had a specific plan for how to address those issues. She's now represented me for almost 5 years in this matter - through settlement negotiation, trial, and lots of complicated ups and downs in between. She's not fighting for the sake of fighting or racking up a bill. She's realistic - she will tell you when you're wasting your time / money. She'll tell you when you're overreacting.
