I contacted and retained Jeremy with The Love DuCote law firm as my attorney. I was going through a divorce and facing a Protective Order against me , yet myself having been the one that was assaulted by my wife at the time. She was actually arrested and charged with Family Violence with Bodily injury Misdemeanor.
When I explain my situation, he knew right away how we were going to fight this. He was able to get the protective order against me denied and granted divorce-disposed. I was being falsely accused and the protective order could have jeopardized many things for me, yet he helped my fight back resulting in a great outcome. I couldn’t have done it without the help of Jeremy and his staff, they updated me promptly with any information I needed and were with me every step of the way. Friendly, experienced and very knowledgeable firm. I definitely would recommend Jeremy DuCote to family and friends.

Mr. Ducote was my court appointed attorney. I went into his office very emotional because I was being sued by my ex-husband. I knew that I couldn’t afford a lawyer of his caliber but Mr. Ducote took the time to listen to my ramblings and reassured me that I would be ok. In the end, I didn’t go to court because Mr. Ducote convinced my ex to drop the case. He and everyone in his office were very professional and always treated me with respect. He was a blessing.

I had a great experience with Roland Barbosa representing me in my divorce. It's never a pleasant experience to go through the legal process of divorce, but Roland made it simple and straightforward and provided numerous updates (and answers to my several questions) as I waited for the (long and slow) Dallas County courts to sign the paperwork that had been sitting on their docket for over 2 weeks. An uncontested, amicable divorce should be easy, and despite the draconian Texas laws, Roland helped make the process as easy as it could be. When the divorce decree was finally signed, he gave me an update even before the electronic system registered a change in the case. His fee is straightforward, and he provided all the paperwork we needed for all the potential steps in the case, from initial questionnaire to final filing and special warranty deed for the transfer of the home. I would highly recommend Roland to anyone seeking a streamlined process to divorce in the DFW area.

Courtney went above and beyond to help my son with his child visitation case. She came in on her day off , during pandemic when the opposing counsel pulled a shady court order. She immediately handled the situation and with good results. My son's case was a tough case and ended with good results without even having to go to trial. She is worth every penny and then some. She will fight for the rights of her client and any children to the fullest. I would highly recommend her and definitely seek her help again if needed.

When I made the decision to modify custody for my daughter I knew it was going to take a GREAT attorney to make it happen. I was told Courtney Hull was the woman I wanted, and boy was that information correct! Courtney is an amazing attorney who is passionate about what she does, I felt like like she was more than just my attorney but a friend! She did everything in her power to help my case and I ended up with joint custody, 50 50 after signing sole custody over to my childs father and after not seeing my child for a year. Almost unheard of right? Yet Courtney made it happen. We have been in a 5-year custody battle for our grandson and thankfully have had the pleasure of Michele Locke being our attorney for the past 2 of those years. She is very supportive and extremely knowledgeable about family law which was key in our case. Our previous lawyer seemed to fall off the planet, but Ms. Locke took our case and worked diligently over the two years to prepare our case for trial and was flawless during the 2-day trial. Ms. Locke, we simply do not have the words to describe how thankful we are for your consistent guidance and putting up with our questions, and calming our fears. I consulted with and then hired Michele Locke in September 2020. She is the 4th attorney I have worked with since 2013. I wish I had met her 8 years ago. She is BY FAR THE MOST CAPABLE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE attorney I have interviewed and/or hired. Having been and still presiding as a Judge, Michele brings a unique perspective that most attorneys cannot provide. She is direct, succinct and concise in her delivery in the court room which makes her a force to be reckoned with. And when you hire Michele, you are not hiring JUST Michele...you are also gaining the knowledge and capabilities of her amazing paralegal, Juan Diaz. The two of them make THE MOST PERFECT TEAM! I read so many reviews before I hired Ms. Locke and so many referred to Juan and how integral he is to the process. I had NO IDEA how spot on those reviews were until I hired Michele. I hired Michele to defend me in a VERY high conflict custody modification lawsuit brought against me by my NAPD ex-husband. Hiring Steve Epstein to help me with the many issues that I was facing regarding a very complicated and messy divorce that included a wide array of valuable assets-- a very successful company, multiple homes, expensive cars, dozens of accounts of all types, in addition to his help in regards to custody, a DWI case, being in a 5 week coma, and steering me out of significant life or death substance abuse issues, was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
Steve is a zealous advocate for his clients. He is also a brilliant strategist, and his organizational skills and preparedness were top caliber. Simply put, I honestly do not even know if I would alive to write this review if it wasn't for Steve. I can't begin to put into words how lucky I feel to have been represented by Ashley Smith in my divorce and custody case. Ashley cares about her clients and during what was easily the scariest and most difficult time in my life, I was able to focus on what mattered, protecting my 7 yr old daughter, myself, work, and keeping a straight head knowing I had Ashley on my side to quickly navigate and provide outstanding advise during a chaotic time. She believed in me and was always available and immediately got back to me the numerous times I had to contact her. I was prepared most importantly for the 2 times we had to go in front of a judge and was calm on the stand because I listened to Ashley's advise. Unfortunately my case involved addiction and child endangerment. When going through something like this, you almost spend as much time contacting your lawyer as you do speaking to friends and family. Trust me when I say Ashley is the one you want fighting for you. These things are long and drawn out and I could not imagine confiding in and being represented by anyone else. I cannot say enough about Ms. Ashley Smith. She is the eye of the storm. The part in the middle that is calm and stable while there is chaos spinning all around. Some of us, like me show up in her office vulnerable, clueless, scared, hopeless the list goes on. Ashley is not your therapist nor is she going to tell you everything will be fine but what she will do is listen, focus, instruct, compile, answer every single question, guide you. She will only reach out if she has to. Be patient because I can assure you she is working thoroughly on your case. I put all of my trust and fate in her hands and it was not easy. When it came time it was incredible to watch Ashley work. Her professionalism and determination is above and beyond. She is a true inspiration. I have friends who separated before I did and my case finished before theirs, Above all Ashley exceeded all of my wants, needs and expectations in the end. I have had a protracted case with Jason going on 6 years now. I'm grateful I have him in my corner. Jason is an expert in this field of law and his command of the subject matter is unquestionable. His advice is always wise and on point. He's reasonable, fair, and interested in finding the best overall solution (for all parties). He is also not afraid to tell you like it is when you need to hear it. He has saved me from myself on multiple occasions.
He's clear, articulate, and efficient in the court room. He has a knack for cutting thru the minutia and homing in on the critical issues and what's necessary and prudent to argue them. And when he gets on a roll, it is amazing to watch, as stated I'm glad he's in my corner!
Jason's fees are reasonable. And it is clear he has my best interests at the forefront and never once has taken any action that could remotely be construed as having his bottom line in mind.
No one wants to need to retain an attorney for such an extended duration but I can honestly say I consider him a friend!
Jennifer is thoughtful, thorough, and meticulous while being accommodating and understanding at the same time. She is always willing to get it done, and is not afraid to hold the client accountable to deadlines ensuring she and Jason can best represent me. She's spent many a night and weekend on my case and told me when I needed to work the weekend too! And like Jason it is unquestionably clear she's got my best interests at heart.

Jason handled my very messy divorce. Complicated custody situation, property disputes, police reports, CPS, custody evaluation - just to name a few things that we had to deal with. I decided to choose Mr. Hirsch after seeing his reviews online and the amount of success he has brought to his clients in the past. Brian is a knowledgeable, experienced, humble, trust worthy, and a patient lawyer to work with. Through out the entire last year, Brian has never failed to satisfy me by giving me information I needed to be prepare ahead of time. He would answer my questions, file all documents, give me head up all in a timely manner. During mediation, I was Uncertain and unaware of many issues which that he patently explained to me until I was Satisfied with his answers. He gave me examples of similar cases and success rate which put my mind at ease. I am very happy with my divorce settlement agreement regarding custody, visitations, support, assets division, property division, etc. I was saved the hassle to go to trial and by having a successful mediation. Brian is not only persuasive, knowledgeable yet an firm attorney, he also charges a very reasonable price. This combination is hard to find and I was lucky to have that benefit. I highly recommend Atty. Taylor and his office. I was charged with doing 91 in a 70 mph zone, so it was a Reckless Driving Speeding Misdemeanor charge. He appeared in court on my behalf and I ended up doing 24 hrs Community Service, completing an 8 hr online Defensive Driving Course, and paying $431 in fines to the court, and my charge was dropped down to an Improper Control/Driving charge, which is an Infraction, not a Misdemeanor. A win in my book.
Regarding Attorney Taylor - he was great from the start. He responded to my call right away and was informative and reassuring. He clearly explained what the penalties and consequences of my charges were and explained what he could do to lessen the charges. I was totally stressed and at a complete loss as to what to do, especially since I lived out of state, and hiring him immediately took all that stress away. He was affordable and his services were worth every penny. His office was wonderful as well. Megan, a Legal Assistant at the office, was very responsive to all my emails, which I really appreciated. Getting through the whole process really would have been impossible without them, especially being out of state. The court appearances were scheduled and then continued 4 times! His Office kept me informed, finally appeared in court for me, and in the end, gave me a letter clearly articulating exactly what I needed to do and by when in order to fulfill the Deferred Disposition and get my charges amended. This is my second time writing a review for Ms. Virk, the first of which was under the name FDB. After retaining Ms. Virk, she delivered the most favorable outcome that I could imagine. She even directly helped both of my children, writing them letters for school on multiple occasions. She is a very caring lawyer, but more importantly a very caring person. Before I've even started to type this, I have tears of thanks running down my face.
From our very first conversation, Kristen assured me and reassured me over and over again that we would get through this nightmare together and that my daughter and I would be happy and safe. Despite my extreme anxiety and stressful breakdowns through the 2+ year case, she was patient, understanding and supportive.
Being in a marriage where I was degraded and abused for years, left me with zero self esteem and no conidence at all. I believed every awful thing the ex told me...( he'd get full custody, I'd never see my daughter again, he'd put me in jail for kidnapping etc..)
I can't even tell you how many terrified tears I cried in the beginning. Step by step, with Kristen in my corner, I started to feel more secure and confident that I had finally made the right choice by leaving.
While my ex made this a LONG drawn out process, Kristen kept me in the loop and as calm as possible.
Two years later, I'm back to the strong, confident, independent woman I was before my miserable marriage. I know that I am a great mom and I've made the best choices for my daughter and I.

I lost custody of my then 5 year old daughter to her abusive father for 2 years. I appealed and won, but during those two years I had to do everything I could to fight for her safety and freedom. I am so grateful for Matt Arnold and his team. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever be going through a divorce. After almost 22 years of marriage that is exactly what I was doing and I was a complete mess. At the consultation Matt was straight forward and painted an accurate picture of what to expect.
From the hiring of Matt to our final day in court was a 5 1/2 year process. Throughout the entire process Matt and Joanna, his paralegal, were amazing. Never...ever did I feel unimportant. Whenever they were working with me I felt like their only client. I was told twice that I screwed myself being Pro Sa and that I’m lucky my ex bf- no blood relation to my son, didn’t get more visitation rights than what was awarded. I wasn’t accepting that. I reached out for a consultation in the Morning Mr. Tortolero called me later that same afternoon. He was very friendly and professional but not like a stuffy professional. I was rushing I thought he is not being paid let me get right to it!
