I hired Mr. Hudspeth as a Divorce lawyer. He explained everything in detail. He promptly took action. Kept in touch through email. My case took longer than planned but to no fault of Mr. Hudspeth. The Coronavirus closed the courts around the time I should have had my hearing. As soon as the the court system opened my case was pushed forward. I am very pleased with the outcome. I would hire Mr. Hudspeth again if needed.

Paul was great to work with. A friend recommended him to me and I would recommend him to others as well now. I had a simple separation that didn’t need to go to court. He was excellent in guiding me as to what I should fight for and what wasn’t worth fighting for since the court wouldn’t be able to enforce it anyway. Molly represented me in a relocation case about 8 years ago. It is not easy to win a relocation case as the non-custodial parent, but thanks to Molly's incredible talent and skill, she won my case and my son and I get to continue to spend meaningful amounts of time together on a regular basis. As she built my case leading up to trial, Molly would identify issues that had real bearing on the best interests of my son and would then build a case by coaching me through the process of developing the facts related to these issues. I use the term "coaching" very intentionally, as Molly really helped to ground me on what were reasonable requests and expectations as a co-parent with my son and encouraged me to engage with my son's mother on the relevant issues despite the inevitable conflict that would ensue. Then, when the trial started, Molly's experience as a litigation attorney on complex corporate cases really showed through. Molly was absolutely brilliant as she clearly articulated our case on each relevant issue. If you are dealing with a fairly straightforward family law issue, you would benefit from working with Molly. If you are dealing with a difficult or complex family law issue (e.g. high conflict co-parent or an issue that could go to trial), it is hard for me to imagine that you could find better representation than Molly.

Not being from the area, I interviewed multiple lawyers trying to find the right lawyer to take on my daughters divorce and child custody case. My first conversation with her set her apart from all others as she talked to me herself for quite sometime to get details this is before she was ever hired. She gave me great specific and honest facts about Wisconsin laws, what we were facing and how we would need to approach the case. We hired her and she jumped right in, was available anytime. This is something very rare in a lawyer. She is one of a kind. I found her to be great in and out of the courtroom. She guided us to a relatively quick divorce with equal shared custody and placement. This was not an easy case, but she made it happen. Also, as for her as a person, she is just like family. She is so caring and truly has been there for us and with us. We just love her as a lawyer and a friend.

I hired Heather to represent me when I was in the middle of an emotional and contested separation. My case involved many moving parts, including a spouse in the military, a military deployment and subsequent relocation, a long distance child custody agreement, and my own personal out of state relocation - all happening mid-divorce. My spouse would continue to throw scare tactics my way in an effort to stop divorce proceedings. Heather would quickly remind me to focus on the facts and not worry about all the extra stuff. My favorite quote from Heather was "I will tell you when you need to worry, and now is not the time." I used that phrase as my guiding principle the whole way through the process.

Heather is an amazing attorney. I'm military and my daughters mother is also which increases the difficulty of the case in my opinion. I was trying to keep my daughter in Washington where she attends school while my ex-wife was set on returning from overseas and moving out of state with her. The original divorce case was occurred out of state which further complicated things. Heather was able to get everything I was asking which ultimately benefited my daughter the most. I worked with Terry during a seemingly impossible divorce and custody case. My ex was impossible to work with, missed required court dates, threatened her and her staff frequently, refused to be cooperative or even decent and ultimately made a tough situation near impossible. As a working father going up against a stay-at-home mom who wanted sole custody, a difficult attorney representing my ex, and a bad GAL report, things looked hopeless. Terry gave me options and hope when I was ready to give up, dealt with a very difficult opposing counsel, and argued a fantastic case. At closing arguments, it was clear how emotionally and professionally invested she was in my case. After trial, I was satisfied that, win or lose, we did our best. And we won!

Renee helped us with a couple of custody cases and an adoption. Everyone in her office was easy to work with and very responsive.

Renee represented me during a rough time in my life while I was attempting to obtain a restraining order.
She took her time to get to know the details of my case prior to the court date and answered all of my questions. I never felt like I was rushed during our meetings or that I had to re-explain myself. She just "got it". Her staff was also helpful and organized with their paperwork/email communication.

Look no further. If you can get her, hire her immediately! Jamie Walker was my second attorney in a complicated divorce/annulment case. After wasting money on an attorney initially, I didn't intend to hire Jamie, only consult her, because I didn't think I could afford her. She impressed me so much with her knowledge, even keeled and pragmatic approach, that I knew I had to hire her no matter the cost. She went right to work, immediately springing into action filing motions and advocating for me. She went above and beyond my expectations. Not once did she waste my time with back and forth emails that could have been quick phones calls. She only communicated and billed when necessary.
This was my first time ever needing an attorney and here is the lesson I learned: When you actually do need an attorney, you cannot afford to choose the "cheaper" option. It will cost you.
Jamie bills higher than most attorneys because she is by far the best, sharpest, most proactive, effective, organized, and brilliant attorney you will find. Her experience and working knowledge impressed me beyond belief. Without Jamie, I do not even want to think about the kind of settlement I would be paying. Jamie and her team are total experts with family law. I've dealt with a lot of family law attorneys over the past year and a half, so I have some perspective on this. Frankly, the majority I've worked with were incredibly unethical, super untrustworthy and just disinterested in actually following the law, but not Jamie and her team. I do not state this lightly.
She doesn't back down even under a lot of stress on tough cases, her fees were very reasonable, and she's unbiased. She's the real deal, and she works in nearby counties. Don't waste time hiring someone you will just need to fire after they mess up your case and cost you a bunch of money. Go for the real thing.
Also remember, you get what you pay for with family law attorneys. It's not cheap to hire the best. I feel that I got every dime of value from the money I spent hiring her.

So so grateful my best friend recommended Attorney Chavin to me. Haven’t needed to hire at this point, because we aren’t there yet. But definitely will if we have to. We’ve only consulted thus far, but his Bio is 100% true.
His number one concern is my well-being which not only makes him a great attorney in general but a special one as he cares about how you feel.

I am a unique client. I like to get “into the weeds” on the legal side of things. Mike was excellent at working with me on two separate occasions.
In 2017, Mike negotiated on my behalf to keep my house and avoid high child support payments and settle for 50/50 custody in my divorce case in Cobb County. This enabled me to stay in my child’s life on a constant basis and remain a stable parent. After a relocation from the child’s other coparent, I had to step into being a full-time parent.
So in late 2023, I filed a modification case as a Pro Se plaintiff. It turned out to be more difficult than I could navigate after discovery. I knew the law, but didn’t know how to turn it in my favor.

What can I say, but Roxas Law is AMAZING! At first, the thought of going to court seemed so daunting. I had very little time with my daughter as the original court order was placed when my daughter was 3 months old. My ex moved to a different city, with no notice, and wanted to change the whole visitation pickup and hours. Therefore, I knew I had to go to court to have a new visitation schedule in place. I visited several law firms and once I went and sat down with Sandy, I knew Roxas Law was the one. She laid out all of the possibilities starting with a reasonable less costly, mentally and monetarily, approach of simply talking to one another with legal assistance, to mediation, to going to court. I knew she that could handle my extremely difficult ex and handle my particular situation with ease and professionalism.
I had not been granted access to my daughter since December 27, 2019. I started the court process in Mid January and the firm was so helpful and explained the whole process thoroughly. During this time, my ex avoided all of the phone calls from Troy and Sandy and made it extremely difficult to even serve her. Throughout this time, their professionalism never wavered and they kept me calm, as it was stressful to think that I would never get to see my daughter as my ex did everything in her power to avoid contact. After several attempts of trying to contact her, she was finally served and we had a court date set for March 20, 2020. However, everything came to a screeching halt on March 19, 2020 when Los Angeles was officially shut down due to COVID. Another disappointment, more stress, and more waiting without seeing my daughter and knowing if she was ok or not.
But, leave it to Sandy and Troy to come to the rescue! They had to inform my ex that the court date would be rescheduled due to COVID and it was unknown as to when that date would be. They reached out to my ex and asked her if the old visitation schedule could resume as it was not known when we would go to court. She refused citing COVID concerns. However, since we had a TON of evidence against her and how she interfered with my parenting time, refused to give me access to see my daughter, and many other things, her refusal would be one more piece of evidence against her. Once she was told, she quickly changed her mind and allowed my previous visitation schedule with my daughter.
We had another court date schedule for May and it was also pushed back. Throughout this time, Troy always reached out to ensure that everything was going as smooth as possible until we could go to court. If I had any issues with my ex, he was quick to handle it. We then had a court date on July 13, 2020. The big day finally arrived! Of course, I was terrified. Troy was very professional and eased my nerves and always explained what was coming up and let me know the possible outcomes. The judge granted me everything I wanted and more with the exception of full legal custody. It was a huge victory!!! I could not have done it without their help!
Bottom line, you get what you pay for. The rates are beyond reasonable for the help, experience, and professionalism you get. The entire experience can seem daunting and scary and just beyond hope. But, I can tell you that it is not! Do not hesitate to contact Roxas Law for anything you need as you will not regret it. You will have a great team behind you to get you through the ups and downs of child custody issues. A big thank you to Sandy and Troy and everyone else at the office!!!!

This man is worth every single penny. WORTH IT. I have never seen an attorney more prepared and ready to attack in court. Custody court was mentally the toughest thing I had ever gone through along with living 300 miles away. Mike helped me through every step. He made sure I was clear on everything and understood what was going on at all times. We had telephone conferences and I only had to come in office a few times.
His ability to recollect laws and cases in court is astounding and he made my ex’s lawyer look like he’d never been to law school or passed a bar exam a day in his life.
