Do not. I repeat do NOT settle for a subpar attorney when your reputation rests on another mans shoulders. This lawyer knows how the legal system works from a to z and if you are being falsely accused he will fight for you until the end. He worked tirelessly along with is assistant to get a false charge dismissed and was successful. Do not waste your time looking at reviews that say anything negative about this lawyer. I have never had an attorney who puts people before the money, as John does. Of course, he needs to be paid and should be paid top dollar but John doesn’t fit into the mold of a streotypical money-hungry/ cut-throat/ self-centered attorney. Jack Denton is among the most honorable and hardworking people I have met. I began helping my father with his divorce case in late 2021, and at the time, was frustrated by a different attorney’s lack of attention and focus on my dad’s case. I am my father’s power-of-attorney but live in Texas while dad still lives in Mississippi. My father has dealt with some cognitive decline in recent years and has a hard time keeping track of key details, so I knew I’d have to replace dad’s previous lawyer with one I could fully trust. I wanted to find a lawyer who didn’t know my family for various reasons, so I found Jack on Google and was immediately impressed with the large number of high ratings and positive reviews. I found one negative review but the context and complaint seemed laughable to me, and I was even more convinced at how outlandish that complaint was after I began interacting with Jack, myself. I called his office one day, and Jack spoke with me on the phone, at length, and gave me good (free) advice on how to try one last time with dad’s current lawyer at the time. He was complimentary of that other lawyer and gave me some context about the situation. He said he would be available if I chose to go a different route or things didn’t work out with that lawyer. Read that again: despite my explicit frustration with the previous lawyer, Jack didn’t swoop in to make a buck—he gave me sound advice on the next steps before I made a move to retaining him as dad’s lawyer. Long story short, I did, and Jack helped us navigate a final effort at negotiating with the other party in the divorce, helped us file necessary pleadings to push the process along, and gave all of us good and clear updates along the way, adapting to our unique needs because of my location and my dad’s memory difficulties. He helped shepherd us through some of the toughest months of my dad’s life, and sure enough, his advice and judgment was sound, time and again. He nudged us in the right direction at times, and advised against certain things at other times, and generally helped us keep the peace with the other party in the divorce. I can’t think of a better experience from a divorce attorney. He charged us far, far too little for the quality of service he provided, and that’s the truth. Jack Denton is a good lawyer and an even better person, and I highly recommend him. I hear he does property title work, too. I just wish I had a house to buy in Mississippi to send more business his way. There are several good lawyers in south Mississippi, but Jack Denton has earned my full trust.

I am not from Mississippi and was very afraid about having a legal issue here as I had no connections or support. I found Mr. Jack Denton as a referral from a friend of a friend. I have never worked with a lawyer previous to this experience.
I originally contacted his office on a weekend, and his receptionist answered. She was incredibly kind and supportive and was able to schedule a consultation appointment within 24 hours. I met with Mr. Denton for that consultation and entered the room just terrified and overwhelmed by my current situation. He calmly and confidently explained how he would approach my situation and was incredibly supportive. He reassured me that this was easily something that we could handle. I immediately retained his services without hesitation. I left feeling relieved and calm.
We worked together for several months, during which time there were many ups and downs in the preparation for my case. This was out of both of our control and I was emotional at every turn. Mr. Denton always responded quickly to my questions with patience and support. He took care of everything immediately and responded with reasonable solutions that made the entire situation much more approachable and achievable. I feel that I should have paid much more for all of the work he put into my case and for how much advice he offered. I cannot put a value on the reassurance and security he provided.
Our case ended with the best possible outcome that I could have imagined. Having someone in my corner who not only knows the legal system in Mississippi but also has the experience and connections to gain better insight into my case and the realistic outcomes that I could expect made me feel confident. I was very impressed by this process and ecstatic with the outcome.
I wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Denton to anyone in need of legal services. He is kind, honest, patient, exceptionally capable, and well connected within the legal community.

Ms. Condon recently handled my criminal case, and it was a complex case to say the least. She was appointed to me by the court and she still gave my case the utmost attention and passion. Krysten and I met when I needed some legal assistance immediately. She made sure she was available on a Friday afternoon to make sure that my legal rights were not being violated. I hired Andrew Bryant as my lawyer in my child custody case that was a complete nightmare! Both Andrew and Emily worked tirelessly dealing with with custody and criminal aspects of my case. They also worked with me and stayed on through the entire multitude of the cases, of what ended up being a couple years. They were supportive and informative through everything! I couldn't have made made it through such an intricate and intimidating custody battle for my son, and criminal case paired with it, without their no-nonsense drive, expertise, and absolute devotion to their clients and cases! I would absolutely recommend Henry and the MKFM firm to all my friends and family. My case was a contested adoption and ended up also including a side appeal case as well. It was an extremely long and litigious case that required patience, expertise and attention to detail. I came to Henry with a divorce case previously handled by another attorney that was extremely long, complicated, and for which there was no similar precedent. Add to that a change in the divorce law while in process, and the complexity magnified. Camy Schawm Wilcox and her team are some of the best family law attorneys in Central Florida. Camy handled my divorce and dependency case involving a termination of parental rights. I believe Camy is the only family law attorney in Central Florida who could have achieved the outcome we did, most attorneys in the area were simply not qualified or willing to take on a case this complicated.
Camy was on top of everything from day one and addressed every curveball thrown at us with speed and efficiency, (and boy were there a lot of them). Camy is very honest and straightforward with her thoughts and opinions. Personally, I love that! I never found myself wondering what she meant when she said something. I tend to be blunt myself and appreciate direct communication.
Camy can absolutely be aggressive in court when she needs to be however she’s also very respectful and courteous to all parties involved in your cases. Camy works very hard for her clients and makes it a point not to engage in unethical or unprofessional behavior. Even when the opposing side is engaging in this type of behavior Camy maintains her integrity. Time and time again, the outcomes in the end were a good reflection of her professional behavior. This certainly doesn’t go unnoticed by the judges or their assistants either.
To say Camy is a hard worker is an understatement!! She is a machine!! Camy and her team always communicated with me regularly. Camy even worked my case from her mother’s hospital bedside when it became necessary and it wasn’t uncommon to see an email come through during the evening hours. That said, when there’s nothing really happening (which happens a lot in the court system), Camy NEVER bombarded me with trivial things just to bill hours. If everything was quiet, then everything was quiet. This can be nerve wracking, however running up your bill with unnecessary questions and comments when there’s no reason would be nerve wracking as well.
Camy, associate attorney Leah, paralegals Gio and Shannon, and firm administrator Debbie are an incredible team of professionals who worked tirelessly for my family. They are absolutely the ONLY attorneys who could have done what they needed to do to protect innocent children from being placed in harm’s way due to a biological connection.
I highly recommend Camy and her team to anyone who needs a family law attorney or an attorney for a dependency case. I haven’t had a need for representation in any of the other areas of law that the firm practices in, but I wouldn’t hesitate to call them should the need arise. Camy doesn’t take on cases in areas of the law that she isn’t familiar with and if something happens to come up that she isn’t familiar with, (as it did in my cases) she never hesitated to reach out to a colleague for assistance. That speaks volumes about her character to me.
My cases certainly were not considered “normal” circumstances and this firm fought long and hard for my family until we were ALL safe. For our family, they are Superheroes!! I still think of these ladies often and my youngest still asks about them and misses them too! After going through something like we did with an amazing team of “Superheroes” standing beside us throuought the duration, there is a fondness in my heart almost like that of family that just can't be explained in words. I cannot recommend Sharon Diamant strongly enough. I consulted with her in early 2022, and her approach was refreshing, real and utterly straightforward. She did not sugarcoat what sort of results she could produce, and she was very straightforward in giving me all of my options.
Sharon always got back to me when I texted her. If she was in Court, she said so. She met with me on my schedule, which usually included Saturday mornings.
When we were in Court, she was organized and prepared. My custody case actually wound up going before a Judge, and she presented my case in a methodical and easy-to-follow way. She simplified a very complex process.
She appears to be incredibly well-liked by her colleagues and the Court, and it was clear to me she is well-respected.
I was very impressed by her calm, rational and reasoned demeanor. She answered every question I had and was never condescending, nor did she ever make me feel like I wasn't the most important client she had.
On a personal note, Sharon is an absolute sweetheart. She always insisted I call her by her first name, and it is very clear this lawyer has no ego. She is there to get a job done.
I don't recommend divorce, but if you have to go through a divorce or custody case, you cannot go wrong with Sharon.

Mr. Murphy is superb. He got my ''speeding in a school zone'' ticket dismissed. I went to court in October and the prosecutor offered me 2 days in jail, no fine to pay as an alternative. So, I plead not guilty and was given a trial date. I retained Mr. Murphy based on reviews on here and after speaking with him, I felt secure in him handling my case. I do not live in Mississippi, so I was not able to show up for trial date. He did his lawyer magic and got my ticket dismissed with only a $50 court fee! 10/10 do recommend!

When i went to Marc I was scared, emotional, stressed & lost with no clue of what had happened to me specially alone & far away from my home country Nepal here in the US with only help of my family friends. I hired Joseph Lawrence to represent me in my divorce. She is super-sharp, could answer questions that were involved and didn't have a simple yes/no answer, provided great guidance on what to expect, when, how various things might play out, and how the various judges in Travis County might view the facts of the case. On top of that, she's a great negotiator - she was in total command of all the numbers during mediation and was able to give solid counterarguments during that process, and she had rapport with the mediator.

I hired Robert (Bob) to represent my daughter and I in Family Court. I was seeking full legal and physical custody of my daughter. When Bob and I first met, we were quickly able to see my situation was in dire need of legal assistance. As a single father, this was by far the scariest thing I have faced in my life. Bob was able to take a pragmatic approach, explain to me the processes within the court system, and guide me through litigation with confidence. There were false claims of abuse and Bob was able to not only deal with them, but to bring an emergency motion that granted me temporary custody. As a trial lawyer, I couldn't have been more pleased with Bob's professionalism, knowledge and legal advice. Bob represented me in court on several occasions leading up to and ultimately throughout a 4 day trail. Bob's experience and knowledge of MN state law was key in our outcome.
I was awarded full legal and physical custody of my daughter and mother had to do supervised parenting time. My situation deserved this outcome, but Bob was the individual who brought the argument to the court and ultimately won the case. He chewed up mother's expert witness. He also represented me in post decree matters and was always responsive and on point. His fees were reasonable as well.
I have since referred my friends and family to seek Mr. Manson's services if they find themselves with any family law issues. They have all been as pleased as I was with his services.

Jean represented me during my divorce proceedings for a little over a year until an agreement was made.
