I found Ed on this website and consulted with him about my outstanding debt that I couldn’t collect from one of my ex-tenants. I called twice because the first time I had to cut the call short because I was running to another meeting, he was available both times. Ed was very straight forward and told me his assessment of the situation. There was no sugar coating and upselling.
I felt that Ed was very honest and straight forward to the point. Sometimes you just need a legal expert to point you to the right direction without all the fluff.

The death of my mother was very hard in many ways, but the loss of my stepfather/ Dad of 30yrs was devastating to say the least. I truly thought nothing could be worse. Then my step siblings and his ex-wife decided to try to make me and my nephew into thief's and horrible people.
I never would have believed that the court's would have allowed this whole thing to go as far as it did. Allegations and blatant lies, not proof, but it did.
If it hadn't been for Davis and Doug I honestly think they might have gotten away with it, since I'm a step daughter, FYI: Stepdaughter I found to be something of a "bad thing" automatically.
Thank you for listening and fighting for us. Thank you for not allowing my dad to be misrepresented as well, even though that was a byproduct, I know he would be thankful as well.

My case was with a major credit collection agency. At first I thought that I could take the case myself to court, but I can say that it was not the best decision at all. After leaving the first court hearing, I did a google search and found this website. My decision to hire Michael Fine was do to the great reviews. The results were extraordinary, he was able to get a great deal and the case dismissed. I did not expect such an amazing deal to this case, but it was all done in a matter of a few weeks, with no reason to show up in court even once or at his office for that matter. Mr. Fine really believes in the concept of justice for the maligned. A debt collection agency knew they were breaking the law when they served me but still tried to collect on a deceptively high amount. They would not back down but neither did Mr. Fine. He filed suit in federal court and got me the maximum allowed.

Where other attorneys wouldn't even listen Michael not only listened but had the debt collector settle with me in my case (yes pay me) and drop their suit and erase the debt from my credit report due to all of their mistakes and lack of legitimate back up. I had a situation with someone falsely claiming I was involved in an auto accident and responsible for their using my health insurance card. In actuality the insurance information was stolen. I was being pestered by insurance companies and lawyers. A phone call from Tim was all it took to resolve the situation. Case closed. I would strongly recommend Tim for any legal needs.

Kenneth Farino was my lawyer on a case that lasted 2 years and 3 months. And while that is a chunk of time, I can only imagine how long it would have dragged on if not for him. No question was ever too small (or too anxiety riddled). This is by far one of the best professional experiences I have ever had, and I am saying that coming from an unexpected awful situation. Recommended to anyone in debt over their head!! Emily is the best for many reasons. 1. She charges a flat rate. Many attorneys charge for a percent of the debt. In my case this would have costed me thousands more than what I paid Emily. 2 She is the most knowledgeable person I know and I've spoken to other attorneys who understand the rules but not as good as Emily. 3 she's gotten me much more than I can ever imagine on cases where I owed debt. Because of her knowledge of the law and rules against the way certain letters are worded, she has gotten me money on these cases. Greg was one of just a few people who actually helped me out while I struggle in a messy legal battle with my ex and he not only spent time with me over the phone twice he also met with me to review my case and didn't expect or charge me a dime. Kevin assisted us with the resolution of a claim against a particularly difficult party who insisted on appealing multiple rulings against them. What should have been settled by reasonable business people or a single hearing about the facts of the case, the defendant and his attorney insisted on using every means possible to delay and draw out the process. Although this wasn't a huge claim, the issue was based on fraudulent billing by the defendant and we wanted to see it through the entire process on a moral basis. Kevin did a great job getting the defendant to court and making our side of the case clear. We prevailed and Kevin also assisted in collecting the judgement after the defendant began stalling after the judgement was rendered. I highly recommend Kevin for your business law concerns!

My neighbor was claiming ownership of a large piece of my property and had built a fence on it. Kevin Best review the claim with county property records and agree that I had ownership of the property. He review my property rights with me and suggest a plan of action to remove the fence and on keeping her from excising ownership of it. The plan was successful and the encroach fence was removed. Currently she is staying off the property.
Kevin was more then helpful when the Home Ownership Association question the fence removal. His knowledge of HOA convention rules were very helpful in responding to the Community Association.
I would hire Kevin again.

My experience with the Law Office of Kevin J. Best has been a very positive one and I plan on maintaining a professional relationship with this attorney.
I had been handling my particular case myself only to have it appealed (by the person suing me) twice and moved to different courts. The person has now filed their third and final appeal (allowed) with the court of appeals. I found myself in a situation where legal representation was a must. I had ten days to respond in writing to the writ of certiorari for the court of appeals. I needed an attorney-fast!
I googled attorneys and found Kevin J. Best, located in Annapolis. I was pleasantly surprised when Mr. Best personally answered the phone. I was immediately able to discuss my very complicated/time sensitive situation. I scheduled an immediate office appointment (2 hours) and fees were discussed during our phone conversation so there were no surprises. I felt Mr. Best was very reasonable. During the office visit Mr. Best very clearly explained and advised me with examples on how to respond to the writ of certiorari. Since I already had a rough draft of a response and Mr. Best was not familiar with the case to date he advised me to follow through myself to keep the cost down. I worked on my response at home-emailed it to Mr. Best the next day. Within hours he revised it and put it into legal format and emailed it back to me all prepared and ready to mail to the court.
This was above and beyond my expectations. All I had left to do was print, make copies and certify mail it to the court. I made the court deadline with days to spare and I filed the paperwork appropriately as required by this court's rules and guidelines- which I had no idea about. All with the help of my new attorney- Kevin J. Best. If needed Mr. Best will represent me at the court of appeals.

Mr. Lockhart was very involved from the moment he took my case and went above and beyond for both myself and my family. He drove over an hour on more than one occasion to make sure he had everything he needed from me (I had lots of relevant documented information), and then he used that information expertly. He also made sure my family's questions were answered and their fears were calmed as best he could. Mr. Bradford worked hard behind the scenes and together as a team they achieved results that can only be described as a best case scenario. Results I hoped for, but couldn't have reasonably expected, until it happened! My case was resolved without me ever having to formally appear in court, something I didn't even believe was possible. A situation that could have gone very badly instead was completely turned around due to Mr. Lockhart's expert use of the information at hand and the skilled negotiation done on my behalf by both Mr. Bradford and Mr. Lockhart. My family and I will always be grateful for all the help they provided.

David was very knowledgeable in how to handle my criminal case. He tackled it head on from the initial consultation with out hesitancy and was able to give me multiple outcomes and solutions from best case scenario to the worst and I hadn't even hired him yet!. I had court coming up in 2 weeks facing an aggravated assault charge and I was on edge for months about this so I hired him and that was the best decision I've ever made. David jumped right on it and was able to get my case dismissed without me even stepping foot in a court room, I can honestly say he is more than just an attorney I felt as if he honestly wanted to help me get my life back I've never had any serious offenses on my record mostly traffic and I almost lost my clean slate. I started off with another attorney who thought I should just pay what the other party was ordering me to pay. Then I got a referral from a good friend of mine, so I called Jeff Howell. Zack fought hard for my case, he was knowledgeable, assertive to the other party, and very easy to work with. Trustworthy and experienced. Jason took me through my bankruptcy case. At such a difficult time, he was extremely understanding and compassionate about my situation. He also made sure I was prepared for all the things that would or could come up throughout the process. Because of this, nothing in the process felt like a painful surprise, which made it much easier to get through psychologically. He was readily available to answer my questions, made me feel comfortable even asking potentially dumb questions, and had tremendous patience. With other professionals, you can sometimes feel like the lawyer etc is trying to keep your appointment as short as possible and they want to move on already to their next client. Jason took his time, never made me feel rushed. He also went above and beyond in so many ways. For instance, he drove all the way out to the south suburbs to meet me in person for our first meeting. He also called ahead to the courthouse because I was concerned that they might not let me bring my laptop. I had no expectation nor had I asked him to do those things - he just offered/did them for me.

I contacted Mr. Coburn for some simple legal advise regarding real estate. I had at least 3 issues where I may need to hire an attorney. He took the time to listen to all my concerns and explained what he could help me with and what he couldn't help me with. He gave me some great advise, and was extremely patient, courteous, kind, honest and a great help to me. He let me know, I don't need to hire him just yet, but advised me on if a certain something didn't happen in a timely manner, that I could hire him with an easy open and shut case - pretty much based on what the law and statute requires. He took his time with me. Did not rush me at all - and I had a lot of questions! He was great! and I assure you, if my situation doesn't pan out like it should and I need to hire an attorney, I will be calling him immediately. I loved his honesty and him being real with me. Some lawyers just want your money and would gladly take you for a ride just to get it. He clearly let me know, what was worth chasing after with a lawsuit and what wasn't. I really appreciate his time and the knowledge he shared with me. I will hire him if needed, and I highly recommend to anyone who needs an attorney with his expertise to hire him.

This was my first time sueing anyone and I was very nervous. When we first met in person, Jim took the time to explain my options (including walking out and moving on with my life). I understood my options fully and I was very appreciative. When I got my first invoice, I was pleasantly surprised. He was very efficient with his time and even though he did a lot, the invoice amount was a lot less than I anticipated. I think this is partly because he talks very fast and always gets straight to the point. He is definitely not chit-chatty, which is a great trait when you are paying by the hour. He really doesn’t mess around and his experience helped move things forward as quickly as anyone possibly can in the situation. I highly recommend Jim, and I interviewed several attorneys before I decided to go with him. Mr. Dunn is a no-nonsense attorney. He gets right to the point and doesn't waist your time or money. We've used Mr. Dunn as our corporate attorney for most of our 40 year history. We've used him for non compete cases, employee discrimination, collections, contracts and many other cases. We've had favorable outcomes in most all cases.
