I have had two cases for Phillip. The first was a business transaction gone bad and required extensive discovery, finding details and analysis of documents. Phillip never stopped looking for the last bit of strength. In the final days he was able to get a favorable settlement from a tough Chapter 11 case.
The 2nd was on behalf of my grandson. He had an opportunity to become a 1/3 partner in a business where he was the acting manager. My Grandson knew my business and knew II was required to use competent legal advise. He asked me to look at the deal proposed by his, then, employer. I referred it to Phillip and , on my grandsons request, guided my grandson on the special points of future protection required to make the deal good for all parties.
The deal was done according to Phillips suggestions and my grandson has thanked me many times for getting him the right help to give him a "LIFE CHANGING" head start as a businessman.

My case involved a business matter. One of my customers filed bankruptcy and my corporation had a sizable liability on a Preference Claim. Mr Ashman settled the case for me for 12.5 cents on the dollar. I considered that outcome to be extremely positive. Mr Ashman and his team of legal experts were able to research some very specific and detailed areas of the law which contributed to my side of the matter. They were also able to utilize their capable negotiating skills to my benefit as well. I would highly recommend this lawyer! Since that case, I've called him several times to discuss other various business matters, he's always been very helpful.

I was in a pretty severe car accident. The guy who hit me was completely at fault, and there were all sorts of difficult pieces to my case. Cam & Team spent hours and hours tracking things down and getting me the best possible result. I'd prefer to have never had the accident, obviously, but when live gives you lemons, you go see Cam, and he helps you make lemonade. I would completely recommend Cam & his team. I am so glad I found Cameron and his team after I was rear-ended by another vehicle during my work day.
I had just moved to a new city and was completely shaken up about the whole situation.
Cameron was diligent about pursuing all facets of care and medical attention after I had been injured from my accident.

I live in north central North Dakota. I love the state, and area, and it has been home my entire life. The problem with the area is that, through past trials and tribulations, I know, as does anyone else living locally, that finding a lawyer that is willing to work with you is near impossible, especially in civil cases. In talking to a friend, I was given the name of Jonathan Friedler, and his current firm, Solem Law Office, based out of Beulah, North Dakota. I had been served a temporary, yet false domestic violence protection order. The order certainly infringed on my constitutial rights, and after a lot of back and forth within myself I decided I should find legal consultation. I left the time frame fairly narrow at this point. I contacted Jonathan four days before my court appearance date, and without even asking for a penny, he went to work for me in an extrodinary amount of time. He helped me file the proper paperwork, and left me with an amazing sense of ease. He assured me that we would get through this, and I did not doubt the urgency and honest infliction he put upon his words. To cut a long story short, I won on my day in court, with the help of an honest man trying to help a fellow human. That is almost unheard of these days, and he completely shattered my expectations. He went as far as to have given me every piece of advice possible to a common man, to have told me that he lives a fair amount of miles away, and that I could retain the documents he had drafted and brought it to a lawyer who was closer to save me money. I was not having any part of that. When a person puts in the type of work Jonathan did in the time frame he was given, they should be awarded with your business. In short, the decision to hire Jonathan was a calculated one, in that I knew I was working with someone who actually took the time to care, and understood every part of the law. I recommend him, in the fullest reguard to anyone else who needs representation.

I have been going through some extremely trying family issues as of lately. My son was taken across state lines without my consent, and the only way to get him back was to file through the courts and start the custody proceedings. I was nervous, and hiring an attorney in the Minot area in the time frame necessary proved next to impossible, and I was referred to Jonathan in Beulah by a law firm here in Minot. I called for a consultation and immediately knew this was the man for the job. I have never worked with a more motivated attorney on any issue. He has worked very hard on my case and literally left no stone unturned. He developed a plan and handled everything in a timely manner. I have been a paralegal my entire life and embarrassed to say that I found myself in a horrible civil litigation matter. I purchased a home in December 2012 only to find leaks, mold, and dry rot the day I moved in. Even though I hired a home inspector and obtained pest and roof inspections, they all failed me and the seller lied and didn't disclose the massive mold and dry rot issues and standing water under the home. It was a nightmare and I had to move out of 1/3 of my home and seal it off due to hazardous contamination. The seller later filed bankruptcy. I first hired a Lodi attorney who essentially did nothing but bill us $10,000 in a 6 month period. I then went to Art Small in Stockton, who took my case on contingency. If it weren't for him trusting in me and our case, I would have been screwed and lost everything. The case was complicated because of the bankruptcy, but Art fought on my behalf in both BK and civil court and ultimately I received far more than I ever would have expected. I won't be rich but can now finally make all repairs and then some. Art went above and beyond and put up with my constant questioning. I now consider him a personal friend. He is hard working, honest, and fair...something hard to find these days especially in an attorney. I've worked with many, but Art is as good as they come. He really knows his stuff, especially in debt collection and litigation, and how to play the game. The Lodi attorney basically told me I had no case but took my money anyway. Art worked diligently for 2.5 years because he believed I was wronged and that meant everything. Fortunately, it finally paid off for both of us. I highly, highly recommend him!!

When Atty. Matthew Collett was referred to me to handle my case, the first thing I did was reviewed his profiles against the other attorney profiles that I had in my list. I was impressed with all that he had successfully accomplished and I said to myself "hmmm...this guy would fit in the case". From my initial consultation to the final settlement of my case, Doug was wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend him without hesitation. James resolved an odd case for me in which the address on my title was switched with my neighbor over 15 years ago, and despite the neighbors property being sold twice since then it was never caught. I live remotely and had never met James, I was fortunate to find him on the internet and am very glad I ended up working with him. I tried to resolve this myself and got nowhere so I reached out to James. First he gave me advice on how to resolve it myself and offered to help if I wasn't successful. After failing to resolve it I went back to James and he agreed to help. He was able to find the original title company even though I had lost the documentation and pursued a solution through them. Simultaneously he pursued an alternative solution with the owner of the other property. Timing was important because the property next door was set for foreclosure with my physical property listed as the legal address on the title. James kept me up to speed on all aspects of his efforts. He was courteous and professional in resolving the issue, and ultimately when the situation demanded it, aggressive enough to gain cooperation to resolve the problem. James resolved the problem, clearing my property from complications with the foreclosure, correcting the information with the county and solving the problem. He did all of this remotely as I no longer live in the area and never met face to face. I found James to be professional, competent, and fair. I was very glad he was representing me and was very satisfied with his work and the outcome. While it is never inexpensive when you need legal advice, I felt his fees were fair and that I got a very good deal for the work and results. I would rely on James for future real estate work without hesitation and would recommend him to friends and colleagues. Working with James was a very positive experience.

I have no experience with Barnett outside what I witnessed during my fathers trial in which he was accused of very haineous allegations. While watching Barnett in the court room, I knew without a shadow of a doubt that he was dedicated to justice and would stop at nothing to see it served. His presence in the court room is very strong and he conducts himself with the utmost respect for the courts. On a personal level, Barnett has a great sense of humor and has a way of making his clients and their family feel confident and comfortable through such an emotionally draining time.
