I recently had to get a divorce. And well.... my wife lived in another state GA. I contacted Suzanne and from the start she was patient, did not rush me (EVER), allowed me to tell her the long history of my marriage and was very thorough! Christian Conrad and his entire team are some of the most caring and dedicated people I have ever met in my entire life. You go into these horribly traumatizing situations in life and have to rely on strangers, and what a gift I was given these incredible bearers of light during this horribly dark time. You can count on Christian and his team to genuinely care about your case. The office is organized, well managed, and everyone there makes sure you never fall behind on your case. The office is beautiful and serene. They send copies of what they file, and you’re always informed as a client. Every time I have had to talk to anybody at the office, even during the most horrible times in my case, I was always able to find peace because of the incredibly humanizing experience it is to deal with literally any person there. I have always felt cared about, organized, informed, and respected. I hired Christian Conrad on the recommendation of a friend. Christian has to dive into a complex and agonizing custody battle due to the lies and false allegations from my ex-husband. Even with the documentation I provided the court to substantiate the lies and false allegations, the Judge ruled in favor of my ex-husband who has a criminal record and an unstable home life. As a teacher, I value integrity and ethical practices. Christian also reflected these core values and demonstrated "best practices" in court.
Christian will be honest and direct with the facts instead of sugar coating decisions. His candor is essential to comprehending the law and how it will impact your case. I came into contact with Rebecca by accident. I am dealing with a high-conflict child custody case in San Diego County. Very serious events have occurred which I do not want to share publicly that required assistance from Rebecca. Rebecca represents the Mother of a child my ex-wife has allegedly kidnapped. The child has been missing since November and is still missing. There are many different law enforcement agencies involved, as well as three different courts in three counties regarding child abduction. Rebecca has gone above and beyond to research issues related to this case and provide me and her client with guidance as it relates to informing the court of the facts and getting all counties and all law enforcement on the same page. Rebecca is intuitive and very smart. She is honest and exercises integrity when dealing with me and other people. Rebecca can be curt and straight to the point which initially threw me off. I felt her tone was aggressive with me. Then when I realized who she was and what part she plays in these cases; I understood her intensity. She literally cross-examined me when she found me. Yes, she found me! While doing research on her kidnapping case she traced several relatives of the alleged kidnapper. Rebecca has laser focus. I can imagine that is offputting to sensitive people who need hand-holding. Despite her initial aggressive and curt demeanor she has a huge heart and has the children's best interests at the top of her list. Due to her call, her conversation with my attorney, and her efforts to this day, I have full custody of my son after being alienated for over 6 months

I hired Rebecca to represent me in a high-conflict child custody case in Riverside. I was looking for an attorney that would stand up for me, and make all of my evidence known to the Judge. Rebecca filed motion after motion for me until the court finally made a decision in my favor. I am dealing with a severe parental alienation case. Rebecca fought hard so that the court would HEAR what I was trying to say. Communication with her office is very easy. The office’s procedures make it efficient and quick to get questions answered and get updates on my case. All documents are forwarded to me for review. The only issue is that Rebecca is on the pricier side. However, her reputation in the community, her relationships with everyone from the court staff to the janitor, make the court appearance so much less stressful. You really do pay for what you get. My prior attorney charged much less but I ended up paying just as much as Rebecca charges because their office was inefficient, disorganized, and just not up to my standards. It seems like that is the norm for most firms. Not Rebecca’s firm. Those girls are a team and it is evident that they work very well together. Rebecca knows the law cold. She thinks quickly on her feet and does not give up. Highly recommend.

Generally, I do not post personal detailed reviews, but Rebecca and her team deserve to be recognized for their tireless efforts. Just over a couple years ago, I frantically called for a semi-emergent after-hours consult, expecting to hear back from her the next day. Thankfully, Rebecca immediately sprang into action, responding later that day. With a few factual details, she knew exactly what to do and began handling my intense situation. I was scared and unsure of what I was doing but Rebecca and her firm guided me throughout the entire legal process. Great attention to detail, phenomenal understanding of complex financials, does not try to be your psychologists and sticks to the facts, very honest and very sensitive to not spending too much time on senseless discussion that can only lead to higher legal fees. I’m a physician with a high level government security clearance. My spouse filed for divorce and initiated a DVI as a means of gaining an advantage in the divorce proceedings. This removed me from the marital home, removed access to my son, and jeopardized my career, security clearance, and reputation. After two months of having a lawyer who was inactive, I hired Nicole and her team. They quickly reestablished my access to the home and won my DVI case easily. I was able to walk away from the DVI case with access to my son and maintain my security clearance and career without issue. Later Nicole and her team obtained an expeditious and favorable outcome for me in mediation. Additionally, Nicole and her team established good rapport with me during the tense moments during the DVI and divorce process making the hard times of divorce as comfortable as possible. During the process, I have also recommended friends and colleagues who have also seemed to have favorable outcomes so far. I highly recommend the Ferry team for any family legal matters.

Nicole and her paralegal team have been a huge support to me over the two-year period from the time my ex and I decided to file to mailing my final alimony check. Filing for divorce while being stationed overseas (military service) is never easy, but Nicole and her team made it about as easy as one could possibly make it. Despite never meeting her or her team face to face due to my physical distance, I always felt like I had a team in my corner. Either Nicole or her team was quick to respond (usually within the day, or close to one day was the average), and they were able to work with me to set up times to have phone conversations. On the day of my deposition/mediation, Nicole was on time, ready to have me dial-in. She made great recommendations on when to stand firm and when I need to make some concessions. Even after the divorce was finalized, Nicole continued to work with me to ensure all elements of the divorce decree were adhered to by both parties.
While I hope that the issues with the divorce are finally over with and I can move on, I know that if something ever comes back up, I will have a strong team and lawyer who I can rely on.

I retained Maria's services to assist with the asset portion of my divorce after my previous attorney basically did nothing. Maria familiarized herself with my case immediately and took to the task. I contacted Guichard St. Surin just a few days before my hearing for a restraining order. I was nervous because the opposing party had a lawyer and being told how hard it was to get a restraining order. I presented my evidence to Guichard the morning of my hearing. He brilliantly put together and addressed the court with my case that had the opposing party running to offer us a settlement for a 1 year restraining order. Guichard discussed it with me and knew we could go all way and get a permanent restraining order so we declined the offer. In the end the judge came to a decision and granted us a permanent restraining order. I waited for months on writing this review in order to find the words that would do this office justice.
I will start by saying that your office exceeded my already high expectations, performance-wise and outcome-wise. You have delivered exceptional results, and I am still amazed with them every day.
After interviewing 9 attorneys over 12 months, I went to see Gregg who straightforwardly explained the process and stressed on the fact that my children’s best interest is of more importance to him than all other parties involved. He earned my trust from the beginning.
Throughout the process that lasted 11 months, Gregg and Samantha have been attentive to every detail, focused and proactive in every move and extremely diligent.

Gregg was representing me in a divorce case that involved a very difficult husband, many obstacles along the way, three children, sale of the home, and court closed due to pandemic. I wish there were more stars to give Amanda. She is by far the best attorney in California!!! What should have been a simple divorce turned into a year and a half long nightmare. I live in Virginia and was having to fight a divorce all the way in California. I was so scared not being able to meet with my new attorney face to face and only had 30 days to find someone after I was served. I found Amanda within a few days of searching and sent her an email letting her know my situation. That same day she e-mailed me back. We ended up having a phone conversation and I just knew in my heart she was the one to go with. That was definitely the best decision I ever made. I don't know where I would be without her. I hired Aimee to help me with my uncontested divorce. I had originally hired another attorney who was not being responsive. A couple years ago, I had my previous employer fire me based on my health. I immediately reached out to Houman and his team and they welcomed my case. It was a long journey, but Houman and his team kept in contact with me consistently. I even was able to text him, often, asking about any updates from his end. He always kept me in the loop and I was never a step behind. His paralegals also were amazing. When the case neared its end, they spent a lot of time with me in sorting out through the finalization of my case. I contacted Julia, when my ex had just threatened divorce. I'm so grateful that I took the time to call, get the info I needed and feel some peace. I had hoped that I would never need to call back. However, when he pulled the trigger, I was on it and Julia was ready to go.
She gave me a very realistic honest picture of what to expect, as best that anyone can do, not knowing how my ex and the Opposing team would show up.
In Mediation, Julia was unflappable!! The OC was yelling and screaming (when we they had to interact) and Julia was calm and cool. When his team tried to pull punches, she was right there was an answer and proposing things for my defense. for example, when my Ex wanted to divide the upfront alimony into two payments - 6 months apart, within nanoseconds, she agreed "with interest and here's that interest amount as of today". Wow, that alone yielded me an additional $11K in my settlement. She was timely in her replies and her legal assistant was amazing to work with. We had TWO long days of mediation, and she was incredible throughout the entire time! I'm oh so grateful!

Julia is literally a Godsend-- I was at my breaking point facing criminal contempt charges on a short-term (7 year) no children divorce proceedings -- 6 years of depositions and 19 Request for Production of Documents (no privacy ever- had to provide my credit card and bank statements every 4 months)
I was beaten down and severely depressed not to mention the financial stress of 6 years of contentious divorce hearings and two trials and an appeal later-- Julia came into my life to defend me on the Criminal Contempt charges- yes, I was facing 6 months- to 1 year in jail for not being able to make money during COVID and pay the Temp Support Order which had not been in place for 6 years.. What is Temporary about that?
I was very frustrated and lacked confidence in the legal process, courts and lawyers when Julia asked me to trust her.
This was easier said than done as I had heard those same words from four (4) previous attorneys who all made my case worse-- not better. Julia held my hand and allowed me to cry and be frustrated while continuing to move forward cleaning up the mess that was created by previous counsel and a court system that was not caught up to dealing with a Pandemic.
14 months after meeting Julia-- she had cleaned up the mess and officially ended the 6 plus years and Malicious prosecution from my Ex Wife's attorney who only saw Dollars in his eyes when he saw me.
I have the luxury now of looking back in hindsight and ask myself often how much different the last 6 years would have been had I known and hired Julia from the start?

I had to deal with a situation that existed in both family court as well as criminal court. Right away Ali was both informative and empathetic. As a professional, she knows how the legal system works. Ali spent time 'on the other side' as a prosecutor, which I felt gave her an inside understanding of not only how the prosecution operates, but of what judges want and look for in a case. Ali informed myself and my wife right away to initiate things like counseling and parenting classes and not to wait for that to be ordered. 1) Because you don't want to get MONTHS into your case and then have the system spring something on you that you could have been doing all that time and 2) It shows that you're pro-active in your case. She never painted a picture of unrealistic expectations and yet, at the same time, she managed to stoke the fires of hope and resolve. The above mentioned advice alone probably shaved 3-4 months off of my family court case. It's little things like that that become big things that Ali has an inside understanding of.
As a person, Ali took a personal interest in me and my family. She readily viewed pictures of my kids and even helped my eldest with a few decisions about college. Ali is a genuine person and she really does care.
To be frank, the court system is hell. Pick one reason or pick several, it's a sea of hell. Ali acted as a legal compass through it all.
I don't give this review with any amount of light heartedness. DCFS came and took my youngest son into state custody for over 1 year. In my heart I truly feel that if it had not been for Ali Leonard, that time would have been excruciatingly longer or worse, they may not have returned him at all. It's via her strength, her knowledge and her determination that I have my son today and my family is whole. Even when my monetary debt reads zero, I will never be able to truly pay her back.
