I was pulled over on the Fourth of July and was arrested for a DUI. Stupid mistake but I reached out to Mr. Kroger and he was able to get my DUI dismissed! Chris handled a case of mine over a year ago, and throughout the year, some things came up that Chris really had no responsibility to address as he had successfully done his job with a fantastic sentencing outcome but he always took the time to follow up with me. I've had another criminal attorney who was supposed to ranked very highly and the fact is after the case was over, I couldn't get a word out of him unless it involved paying more. Chris is a stand up attorney, remembered the facts of my case for an entire year and when he was able to help, he did so, and as a secondary outcome, we applied for and got an early dismissal from probation and on my record a year after. Chris is by far the best attorney I have worked with and I highly recommend him. When I am able to get my case expunged in two years, Chris will be my immediate go-to.

I had a case of posession of marijuana in Montgomery county jail for less than 2 ounces
I was dropped a felony to a misdemeanor and served 1 year probation. He was even there for me when I was revoked my probation in 2009 and although this review was due a long time ago. My college roommate and I were both charged with felony level crimes. Jamey and Dylan(and staff) was AMAZING!
Seriously. I called around to others in the area- having never been arrested, in jail or anything like this before, I didn't know what to expect. The first person I called was rude, he had been practicing DUI cases in Monterey for many years, and I am sure he was knowledgeable, but I didn't trust him the ways I trusted Jamey; right from the start, he was kind and very professional. He seems like a good guy too, a straight-talker who is down to earth, and smart.
Anyhow, that was my initial impression and my gut was right! This was one, if not, the worst thing to ever happen to me. I needed someone to walk me through the journey and I got more than I expected.
So my story – I was knocked out. I was on vacation in Canery Row and parked my car on the street set a 2 hour timer on my phone and went to my favorite restaurant in the area. Time passed, plans changed, and the timer went off, I booked a hotel nearby. As I went to move the rental car one tenth of the mile away, in to valet, something hit the back of my car. I come to learn someone on a skateboard lost control of their skateboard and it hit the back of the rental car. I didn't know what had happened, for all I knew, another car could have hit the back of my car. So I got out to see what happened and a large man came charging at me, I turned around to get back in the car, and that's when I was knocked out. This all happened within seconds of getting out to see if anyone was hurt based off the bang I heard, in the middle of bumper to bumper traffic, on Canery Row.
Minutes later, police and ambulance came, witnesses described that the man had run away. The police officer was a complete jerk, newer on the force(Jamey tells me) – no field sobriety test was given. They arrived when I was on the sidewalk, bleeding and in shock at what happened. Instead of being treated like a victim, I was handcuffed because they smelt whiskey on my breath. I spent the next 48 hours in a holding cell, it was like what I imagine hell to be like, very sad. Since the officer was horrible, he failed to follow correct procedure. Jamey reviewed the body footage and advised the Judge to do so too. Because of this insight Jamey had, the DMV through out the case entirely. Typically, this sort of thing carries 1 year mandatory suspension of license.
I had a BAC of .089, which is right at the bottom of the legal limit. Jamey told me from day one that he would push for me to get a reduction of the charge to a “Wet Reckless”(carries lower fines and not a DUI charge).
One 12 hour class later and approximately $1000 in fines, I have moved on with my life.
Everytime I thought of that evening, I would get irate. I actually have had to stop thinking about it entirely in order to maintain myself and move on in a healthy way. Sometime after the 3rd phone call or so(I have lived in a different state for over a decade), Jamey would encourage me to not allow the things we couldn't change, to effect us today. That wisdom and care from this professional, went a very long way. I needed that perspective, he cared enough about his client to provide it and care for their mental state.
That's what I will think of when I think back to getting knocked out, with no justice and being jailed for 2 days, due to an error I made of parking on the street. The kindness of my attorney, what a great outcome for a miserable period of time.

Jamey was a great attorney from the very beginning to the very end of my case. He listened to all of my concerns especially since I no longer live in the area. He assured me and was very clear that it was something he could represent me even from being far away! WOW! I got myself in some serious trouble. I had 1st and 2nd degree charges. Thankfully my parents found fantastic lawyers at the firm of Robert's and Teeters. It was a long 5 years dealing with this case. I immediately said to them I want to take this case to trial and they gave me the full confidence from the beginning. I had called several lawyers prior to engaging Lewis & Dickstein. They were all awful. They only seemed interested in the money, I was just another number and wouldn't fight for me or my family. My husband happened to come across several reviews on Lewis & Dickstein which prompted us to have a call with them. The call led to an in-person meeting. Once I met Mr. Lewis, I felt instantly comforted knowing he had my back and best intentions at heart and would fight for me. Mr. Lewis exceeded expectations. From the first time I spoke with him he told me "I won't let you down, I won't let anything happen to you"...and indeed, he did not. I was charged with drunk driving with high BAC. It was my first offence. I was beyond scared. I was facing possible jail time, lengthy probation and rigorous alcohol testing. Mr. Lewis guided me every step of the way. Advising on what to do and not what to do. He was always available, and responded to every question and worry I had. He was firm but fair with me, no BS.
The Judge assigned to my case was widely known for her strict stance on DUI. This did not phase Mr. Lewis one bit, he often reiterated "he won't let anything happen to me".
Mr. Lewis was able to negotiate a lower charge of operating while intoxicated, which I plead guilty to. This all happened in a short period of time - it felt like forever - but I was assured this was a quick turnaround.
Days before sentencing, I had a violation by missing one of my three daily test times. I was not aware I missed it. As soon as I was aware I went for a urine test, but was outside the allocated 12 hour time frame. This was terrifying. I had been so diligent throughout the process and to miss one right before sentencing was beyond frightening as I knew this would not look good to the Judge. Mr. Lewis and I may have had a few cross words following this incident, it was all in my best interest, and he continued to fight hard for me.
At sentencing, Mr. Lewis not only had my testing violation dismissed, he miraculously got me NO jail time, NO probation, no therapy or AA. All I had to pay were some fines. This outcome went beyond my husband and my expectations. It was truly unbelievable.
My family and I are eternally grateful to Mr. Lewis! Thank you Randy.

The first thing the Randy Lewis said when we met was"Your in good hands and Ill take care of you" Everything he said was true. He had me feeling much more confident about the case and that we will not just take a plea deal which is what my initial Lawer wanted to do. With only one pre-trial conference Randy was able to bring my charges down from a pretty serious criminal case to a civil infection that equated to a fine and a few points on my license. I am 60yrs old and had NEVER been arrested or in serious trouble until i found myself in a soap opera type nightmare with LVPD reading me my Miranda rights! I was being falsely accused of bullying & assaulting my elderly mother that I was caring for. I was scared out of my wits and having trouble seeing ANY way out of going to jail. Suddenly i went from loving daughter to an alleged abusive caregiver. Ms Amber Fuhriman was a beacon of hope to my spouse and I at a time when our options appeared to be none and the likelihood of a satisfactory resolution seemed impossible. I had some serious difficulties with another firm and went to see Glenn for a consultation . He offered me some reassurance and encouraged me to finish my case with the firm I already hired and paid. He told me that if I still felt unsatisfied that he would be happy to take on my case, but that he didn't want me to waste money unnecessarily. He spent the remainder of the hour talking to me and explained how the legal system worked and by the end of our meeting I felt like a weight was lifted from my shoulders.

There’s saying I remember from my childhood, “be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer & supplication with thanksgiving let it your request be made known to God”. I found myself in a precarious situation that required law services which also required patience. A friend gave me Mr. Lee’s information and I proceeded to contact him. We discussed my situation and realized the gravity of the issues before me. He clearly explained each issue in laymen’s terms and let me understand that the process will take time. We were running out of answers on representation of attorneys for our son on criminal charges as we had previously hired various attorneys with them only taking money and wanting an easy way out by him taking a plea even though he was innocent . Ben represented me (a man) in my divorce (with multiple kids.) My wife had filed and included many horrible allegations which led me to have almost no time with the kids on our temporary parenting plan. Ben picked up the case (which my first attorney had done a poor job on.) He knew exactly what to do to get the end result I wanted. I had to suck it up and it wasn't an instant fix but in the end he rocked my wife's world in court and the record was set straight by his courtroom skills. It seemed at times throughout the case that he was not attentive to my little daily concerns, but I think he simply puts focus where it really counts and if I had trusted him more I would have saved some worry and stress. I read that you will never regret hiring an attorney that you can't afford when it comes to fighting for your kids. After trying to go the cheap route I bit the bullet and I'm so glad I did. Worth every thousand spent and then some. Ben was brutally honest with me and didn't sell me anything he wasn't able to deliver. Ben is an amazing attorney. He helped my wife and I in a custody battle with my ex. His professionalism and ethics are the highest I have ever seen. Despite the other side trying to play dirty, he maintained his ethical and professional demeanor and prevailed every time. My being out of state during all of the battles was scary, but Ben made sure everything was done for my best interest and the best interest of the kids.
