I was charged with a class d felony. Tammy didn’t look at me as just another client or another paycheck. She treated me and my family like her own. From the beginning I was looking at 2 years in jail and it was more or less certain that I was going to spend a good amount of time in jail. I settled on the first plea deal we got and it involved no jail time at all. She went above and beyond in every aspect of this case. Where most attorneys will stop at a certified letter or a notarized note she went a step further and had them come in to testify. She really put her time and effort into getting the best possible outcome for my family. I didn’t get to see my wife or children for three months and she made it her mission to reunite us all. This morning they moved back in. I cannot speak higher of Tammy. There are no amount of words I have to give her the credit she deserves. She is and will always be a part of our Little family.

Unfortunately I had 2 incidents within a 6 month period that I needed a lawyer for but fortunately I had Ms. Corcoran! For the first incident, a felony hit and run she reduced it to a misdemeanor and I was able to keep my license in addition to just being such a calming energy in the midst of what felt like the worst storm ever. Recently, I received a misdemeanor marijuana charge and of course I called her and not only did she give me a break financially she took care of the case quickly and efficiently with the best possible outcome in my favor.

After my experience with a less-effective lawyer, I was advised to contact Debra Corcoran. After our free consultation I knew I had to have her represent me. Ms. Debra Desmore Corcoran esq. was able to take time out of her very busy schedule to consult with me on a matter that I was continuously hitting dead ends on for numerous days & it was exhausting and disappointing. Suddenly, almost like an Angel was kind enough to visit me, I was told information that I was seeking & given a proper direction in which to head towards. If it wasn't for Ms. Corcoran niceness, I might still be getting no-where in my search & quest for a topic that doesn't yet have much information written in regards to it. Paul Kendall was referred to me when my husband needed a lawyer in Brazoria County. It was 2 days before the hearing when I contacted him. Next day he went to go consult with my husband in jail and the day after he was there for the hearing and worked with the prosecutors to get the best deal. My husband was out of jail that day instead of sitting there for weeks and is thankful to have had him on our side . He was quick to help and worked with us financially as well . Thank you!!!

I'll start off by saying, I've talked to at least 20 different lawyers. I had a very extensive case for my civil harassment restraining order. I had been sexually assaulted, threatened, coerced, manipulated, and psychologically tortured by my former boss. Kian spent an extensive amount of time to review my case. My divorce was harrowing, and Jordan Young kept me afloat.
I was part of a very nasty divorce, and really thought I was going to lose time with my daughters, but Jordan stepped up and helped me not only survive, but eventually win more time with the kids.
She was able to understand the emotional complexities of divorce, but also didn't mince words about what would or wouldn't hold water in court. It was honestly a fantastic balance of accurate legal consultation and emotional support, which as I understand it with many attorneys is a rare combination.
She also didn't stand for any of the nonsense my ex tried to pull, and was the first to speak up when something was trending in an unreasonable direction.
I had a less-than-useless attorney prior, and got metaphorically disemboweled by the enormous bills, especially since no progress was made. I hired Jordan, and because her billing is always fair and justified, I was able to financially weather the storm as well. I NEVER got a bill that didn't make sense.

As a young woman, I knew very little about the judicial system. Melissa represented me in TWO cases one about child custody and a separate one about a domestic abuse case. I had a great experience working with The Law Office of Steve Fuerch. I was injured in a car accident that was not my fault and was hit by an uninsured motorist. My two sons were subjected to emotional and physical abuse by their mother and her boyfriend while living with them in California. I live in Chicago and had one son who stayed to live with me. For 1.5 years I was unable to contact nor visit with the second son who remained with his mother in California. Mattis Law drafted a perfect filing for our case presentation, including statements written and executed by my wife's father, step mother and sister which resulted in my Illinois son continuing to reside with me and a court ordered visitation for the son living in California.
Amelia Mattis is organized, intelligent, poised and calm even when opposing counsel's behavior was obnoxious. Amelia is walks into court cute as a button, but every word out of her mouth is so precise, factual, and loaded with information. When she speaks, she does it in a way that settles all the dust and allows her verbal argument and points to be not only heard but received. She is smart as a whip, knows her stuff like the back of her hand, will work with you to get what you want but won’t lead you astray if she doesn’t think it’s doable. She’s compassionate, professional, and will absolutely work wonders for you. Highly recommend!
Unlike a lot of attorneys, she will advocate hard for you and your children, but without bringing the drama, antagonism and inflammatory/smear campaign into the mix.
Her office staff is wonderful too. Cassidy has been so helpful in getting communications to and from myself and anyone else who needs to be looped in.
So, so thankful for Mattis Law. This is the first time in my 4 year custody case that I’ve felt like I was in good hands and feel some sort of comfort.

I have used Lisa Coplan-Gardner on several occasions for child support issues. Every case has been ruled in my favor due to her hard-work, diligence and compassion. I always felt that my case was a priority for her and her entire staff. I have a special needs child and a complex case. At our initial consultation, before I even hired her, she began looking up information for me and guiding me. At no time did I ever feel that it was about money for her. I was surprised at her eagerness to help me, educate me and fight for me and my children. Her kindness, understanding and patience was a breath of fresh air after having spoken to 3 other attorneys who made me feel as if I were a number. They were cold and unconcerned. Lisa treated me like a friend. When it was obvious that my complex case was going to cost more than I could afford at the time, she was sympathetic. She allowed me to make payments to her and often discounted some of her rates. She also suggested ways that I could reduce the costs by handling some things myself instead of just sucking every penny out of me that she could get. Custody modification is often even more challenging than an initial custody proceeding. The "material change" and "best interest" standards are rather subjective and a judge is not inclined to change a custody agreement without overwhelming evidence that it would improve the child's situation.
Despite the inherent difficulty, Ms. Russell achieved the exact result we set out to achieve in my custody modification case. She is an incredible strategist and litigator with a total command of MD custody law. Every part of the plan was well-considered and well-executed.
I would highly recommend Emily for any family law matter. I would also recommend listening to her when she provides advice. Unlike some attorneys, she doesn't hedge on every recommendation to the point that you're making all the decisions without knowing the possibilities of how those decisions will turn out. She will provide sound advice taking into account the facts of the matter. Tell her the truth, take her advice, and let her do her job. My very first impression of Emily was amazing. Friends of mine were having their first child and the hospital would not allow the non birth mother to access their newborn due to them being a same sex couple. Emily not only answered her phone right away, she drove to the hospital to make sure her clients were being taken care of!
Emily (and Heather) stepped in to handle was was quickly becoming a very emotional situation. Within moments the problem was solved and our friends had a smooth adoption afterwards.
I knew Emily was going to be my first call to handle dissolving a civil union (issued only in Vermont) that I had been a part of since 2001. Emily met with me to go over my options on what I was told by two other attorneys would be nearly impossible and very costly. My former partner and I were tethered to a civil union that states no longer recognized and they were obsolete as marriage equality was on the horizon. The unfortunate part was those living in civil unions who had separated, like myself were caught up in the red tape of the courts with many courts claiming no jurisdiction, yet this was still a legal binding that would had to be dissolved to get officially married.
From the start Emily said "we will get this done, and if we can't at first we will keep trying until we do". Emily went far above and beyond in my case. On the day before the trial, the courts were all of a sudden requesting my EX be present. She lives 1200 miles away. Emily called the court endlessly the entire day and after hours, she faxed forms to the judge and guided not only me but pointed my ex in the proper direction to make sure she would not be left in some sort of trouble with the courts. As my case was in front of the judge, i was worried! I felt the judge was tough on the cases before mine....Emily was right next to me and consistently told me "its ok". When it was time for my case, Emily was confident and calm in front of the judge. She had a quick response for every question and was prepared for what seemed like anything and everything. 10 minutes later, my civil union which had been in limbo for years, was dissolved! Emily Charged me a regular uncontested divorce rate. She responded to every call and email within hours. I still can't believe it and Emily and I stay in touch to this very day!

I don’t have enough good things to say about Denise Trevino. My divorce and child custody case was an extremely complicated case. She represented me in California while I live in a different state. In 2009, I went through a divorce after being married for 14 years to my high school sweetheart. I was devastated to find out that my husband was having an affair and that his mistress was moving from Boston to Jacksonville in less than 2 weeks. From the moment I walked into the office, Garrett and his paralegal, Jan, did whatever they could to put me at ease. I think of them as the "dynamic duo." They knew that I was scared, devastated and had no idea what was going to happen to me or my kids. Garrett treated me with respect and was beyond caring. Jan was always available for questions and Garrett was always prompt to reply when I needed to be in touch with him. This was my first experience with a lawyer. I was embarking on an extremely stressful high conflict custody dispute. As a father, I falsely believed I was at a disadvantage simply due to my gender and felt the court would side with the mother no matter the situation. In this instance I was confronted with a motion for my child to move out of state with the mother.
Alexis Revelo went above and beyond representing me. Her and her team such as Shaina Garcia are highly motivated, easy to talk to and are amazing at interpreting the sheer amount of noise that a custody dispute produces. I would agree with most positive reviews about Ethan and more. I have known his father Merritt professionally for a long time and I met Ethan years ago at their office. Ethan was a young sharp attorney then and he is a brilliant attorney now. My divorce was complex and difficult as it emanated from a foreign marriage. I never thought I would ever find a lawyer who could assist collect a divorce settlement awarded to me six years ago. It was easy to speak with him over the phone, as it was in person, in his office. My first impression was, he is bright, experienced and skilled in family law, sincere, and will definitely protect my interest as his client. Today in court I watched Mastery , Tanis is a skilled, brilliant, & powerful attorney. After I was falsely accused of domestic abuse in 2014 , and issued a restraining order and re issued again in 2015 , my prior lawyers basically told me to stay quiet and I did , I listened and listened to 100% false accusations my my ex , I hired attorney Yannetti in 2015 , she was confident right away she could have this restraining order terminated immediately , yet she she still made a wise decision to wait until today April 14, 2016 to finally " have my day in court " Tanis made this decision so she could get to work , pulling transcripts, having them transcribed , finding all inconsistent statements made by my ex Tanis found things that Nobody else saw , from big things like Purgery , to dates that just didn't or couldn't even be possible, all overlooked by my former council , she took on 4 lawers today , and stayed so cool , the plaintiff my ex , could not control herself and her lawyers and the judge had to constantly tell the plaintiff to stop , Tanis read every transcript and her knowledge on my case was outstanding, picking up immediate on any inaccuracies the opposing lawyers made and some were small that most attorneys would miss, her objections were timely and perfect and her asking of the relevance of certain items brought in or up kept the hearing in order not allowing anybody to divert the subject of why we were there and that was Justice , I was losing faith in our Justice system Tanis restored it! Brad (and Jeff) substituted in after a long drawn out process after filing (8 months) that got virtually NOWHERE with my previous attorney because she was MIA in both response time and counsel! Not only did Brad jump in, assess the situation and the proposed agreement my spouse and I had come to (absent counsel from previous attorney). Brad thoughtfully considered and acknowledged the spirit of what we were trying to accomplish, provided insight into potential drawbacks or areas of recommended clarification and focused exclusively on clarification of language vs. exorbitant revisions to the settlement documents (to put his mark on it) that would have further delayed finalization.
He was knowledgeable, professional, responsive and diligent (as was Jeff)-I highly recommend him.

I knew I wanted to hire Brad right after my initial consultation. I was going back to court for the second time over my child possession agreement and felt like I didn't have any options.
