I was referred to Mr. Joe Gonzales by a law enforcement colleague who had dealt with him several times while working cases at the DA’s office. I was given Mr. Gonzales’s cell number and calling him was the best decision I had ever made. My initial meeting and impression of Mr. Gonzales was that he was a professional and he listened attentively while I explained what had occurred that led up to my arrest and charge. He understood that I could not accept anything but a dismissal or an acquittal or I would lose my career and future goals. He advised me that he would be working with a team that included Mr. Christian Henrickson and that I would be getting two lawyers for the price of one. I struggled emotionally through a year and a half of court dates until the case went to trial. Despite all my fears, Mr. Gonzales and his team reassured me and I knew they believed in my innocence. When Mr. Gonzales goes into “trial mode” it’s amazing. His cross examinations of the prosecution’s witnesses and complainant were direct and strategically effective. The trial was very stressful for me and as we were waiting for the jury to return with their verdict after deliberation I will never forget how terrified I was and how Mr. Gonzales calmingly placed his hand on mine and smiled and said, “Do not lose your faith now.” He was confident until the very end and even when I had feared the worst he believed in my case. Words cannot express the gratitude, the heartfelt obligation she provided for me during my fight for justice. She is the best.
I was wrongly accused of a violation of the law that I did not commit.
I was extremely emotional, I dealt with anxiety and panic attacks. She did not judge me, she comforted although I was having emotional breakdowns. I was able to rely on her judgements, her sincerity and her efforts to fight.
She reassured me my fight was her fight, and even helped me breathe though when I felt like I was an emotional wreck.
What matters the most in the event when I lost one of my twin baby’s to death she made sure she made appearances and decision that benefited me.

Not to knock my Public Defender, but she had already written me off after a 90 second conversation, and told me I should plead guilty to a deal without asking more than 3 questions. I almost just accepted this, but knew I wasn’t guilty and decided not to be a victim of the system built to protect me.
I first called Decio to ask his opinion on my case, and I immediately felt he was invested in finding out the full details and did not jump to any conclusions. After our brief 10 minute phone discussion, he laid out a few ways he thought the case could go, but offered to meet in person the same day to provide a more in depth assessment. We met at his office, which is very warm and welcoming, and went to a private conference room where for about 30 mins he and I discussed the case, after which he told me how he thought he could best fight the case for me, and that all hope was not lost as the Public Defender had made me feel at my initial hearing. His confidence in me and what I was telling him convinced me he was going to be not only my best chance at a fair outcome, but to deal with someone who looked at me as an individual, not just another case number to get through.
Throughout the case, Decio personally reached out to me at least a dozen times to keep me up to speed, to ask for meetings, info, etc.... I never once had to go looking for him. When he explained something over the phone that I just wasn’t sure or clear about, he always invited me to come meet at the office to work through things, always reassuring.
The longer our relationship grew, the more I could feel him becoming personally attached to my outcome, and it really felt like I had someone on my team who wanted not only the best outcome for the case, but for my life moving forward in general.
If you’re on the fence about whether to hire a private attorney, I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Decio, and am so very certain now making the call to him changed the path my life was headed. With the public defender, I’d be living the rest of my life with a conviction and the stigma and shame for something I wasn’t guilty of. With Decio, NO CONVICTION, CASE DISMISSED! And also, just as important, I don’t feel like a helpless civilian who can be railroaded into guilt, I know that if you have the right help, you can push back!

I worked with Tad on my case for a year! He would text me back weekend or not, super friendly. Explained the whole process of everything in a way I could understand what was really going on. I was accused of a crime I truly did not commit and he believed me. Unfortunately we could not prove a phone call conversion in trial we we settled for a plea. Went from 2 major felonies count 2 and a 3. Down to a misdemeanor 1, probation for 2 years that’s it. Great guy enjoyed working with him but hopefully I never see him again unless it’s a run in at the store.

I called Tad just days before my pre-trial hearing and he was nice enough to accommodate me into his busy schedule. He took my concerns very seriously and was very thorough in investigating all the details of my case. He was available at any time of the day when I had a question or concern. His law office is focused on trial, and not just pleading out. If you desire a plea bargain he will work to achieve the outcome you desire, but dont fear if you want to go to trial. He is dedicated and thorough and will work hard to achieve a positive outcome. My case was dismissed, but Tad a solid game plan, with motions for dismissal, and a trial plan if the case was not dismissed prior to trial. I came to Mr. Paskey to help me with troubles that were brought on. When i came to the firm, they welcomed me in and herd everything that i had to say. Mr. Paskey told me up front that he would like to help but could not promise anything, and also told me that he did not want me to hire him right away, to go out and look at other lawyers to be sure. I knew from the beginning that i choose the right person for the job. During the entire process he kept me informed and made professional references as to what would be smart to do through the process (ex: hiring a court stenographer). In the end of everything he always made sure that i was doing okay and tried to work with me even when i lived out of state. When it came down to the final trial he worked his hardest to make sure that I was comfortable and that i remained calm. I had gotten into trouble with the law in 2000 and was sentenced to prison for eight years in 2001. I hired Richard for a case and never spoke to him on the phone only with his assistant. He missed three phone call appointments with me and became very rude when I express my displeasure with the situation (via email of course). I paid him $1100 for no reason, I honestly regret hiring him to terminate my probation early. I filed the motion myself and got it taken care of. Anyone looking to hire an attorney I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

I recently passed through a small town going faster than I should have (as I was honestly running late to a wedding). Ended up meeting a nice gentleman on the side of the highway and thought I would be looking at a speeding ticket real soon...
Well... I thought wrong, and I was actually looking at serving a 90 day sentence at the local bed and breakfast (correctional center).
I was referred to Mr. Nettles who “knew the law book from front to back.” I talked with him a few times and he went to work on my case. Later Mr. Nettles went to court on my behalf and took care of everything as he originally said he would. Scott really went above and beyond for me and I’m so thankful (and yes his knowledge of the law is extraordinary).
