Rachel Oliver is the best attorney I've ever had. She was working for the Jefferson County Public Defender's Office at the time. This was my fourth DUI in a lifetime , My last DUI was 20 years ago. I went to AA and treatment and I have been sober for over 2 and 1/2 years. She believed I took responsibility for my actions and I was ready to take the punishment I deserved. I was also looking at a extensive jail sentence, but I ended up with a much shorter sentence. I have had other attorneys over the years that I actually hired and paid. I have never seen or heard of a public defender attorney fighting so hard for their client. I know they are so overwhelmed with clients.. but despite that she spent a lot of time meeting with me and treated me with respect and courtesy. Rachel really cares about all her clients . I feel I owe her so much. I would hire her for anything at any time. I have recommended her to anyone I know that needs an attorney. I would never hire any other attorney except for her! She goes to bat for you, and fight as hard as she can for you. She really, really listens to what you have to say. I could go on and on how great she is , but I would run out of room. A year and a half ago, my 19-year-old daughter was arrested and initially charged with 18 charges, one of which carried a mandatory sentence of life without parole. I am so glad we hired Rachel. I always thought that people who had issues with the police must have done something to deserve it. I learned the hard way that its not true. I experienced ongoing harassment from the Waltham police who seemed to take advantage of my complicated family situation. I am an African American and a single parent who actually believed that I have rights. Silly me. The police used every opportunity to attempt to get me into trouble repeatedly all in retaliation for my filing internal affairs complaints due to their misconduct. I was fighting a losing battle. This happened in front of my family and friends. They all just said move.
Erin Opperman walked into my life and gave me hope. In my opinion My prior attorney was afraid of the District Attorneys office. The charges were bogus.
Not Erin. After Erin got involved no additional bogus charges were ever filed. She had to fight for several years, not months, years , before the case was finally dismissed.
This included Erin getting my case transferred to another venue. The DA was super angry with her for fighting so hard for my freedom. She had to file motion after motion after motion. She recognized what I was up against and stood by me. Erin refused to let them rail road me. Anyone that is looking for a lawyer who will fight for you as if you were her own family, then she is the person that you want representing you. I was a difficult client, I always calling her crying asking why me? She listened patiently and calmed me down. I thank God that she did not withdraw from my case when things got worse. I would have been convicted of a crime that I did not commit. I thank God that I met Erin, she is lawyer that gives 100% to her client. I would hire her again if I am ever in need of a excellent lawyer who will be committed to my case.

I was accused of sexual assault after becoming involved with a prostitute. I was accused of horrible crimes. Erin was so nice and made me feel comfortable even though we had to discuss these awkward and horrible charges. She knew that this person was lying to protect herself. We prepared for trial several times in her office and eventually my charges were dismissed. She is so kind and respectful and also very aggressive in court.

I own multiple businesses and Eric Bell has done law work for me and consultation work for the last 15 years. I have also referred several people to him (at least 5 family members or friends that used him) over the years. This guy puts his heart and soul into every case he gets whether it is something trivial or major, in cook county or has to drive to Dupage county or a neighboring courthouse he will get it done. You obviously have to have some intelligence to be an effective attorney but to really get things done you have to have a great work ethic and be likable too. Eric fits the bill, he has a fierce work ethic and I don't know if I ever met anyone that doesn't like him. I tell everyone I can about Eric. As nice as he is, he's an animal in the court room. Isolation may not have stopped immediately at work, but feeling alone and unheard quickly changed the second I began communicating with Jaclyn.
She fought tirelessly, even when I just had nothing left in the tank.
If you're looking up lawyers, chances are you know you need a lawyer, but you can't commit just yet because you don't care, or you just think your situation is a lost cause. That's where I was, but the more I read her background, and history of the entire firm, I committed to it.
After the consultation, it confirmed that not only did I need a lawyer, but that I needed her. She took ownership of the entire thing. She was genuinely offended by not only the claim, but the entire premise of the poor leadership and investigatory process I had to deal with. Once I hired her, she got right to work, informed all parties to include legal, investigatory, and leadership that anything regarding legal matters would need to be directed towards her.
She crosses all t's and dots all i's. When the cards were stacked against me, she picked and poked at each of those cards and 1 by 1 exploited them until the prosecution had nothing left except what they started with, a false claim with no factual substance.

I was dumfounded that an officer of 30 years with zero write ups on his name was found guilty by a jury and he has to now have this on his record for the rest of his life.. UNBELIEVABLE. TJ represented me in a very complex and intricate case involving government corruption. I was a 30 year police officer who began calling out corruption within the Desoto Missouri Police Department. The chief of police retaliated against me on lawfully terminating me then having me criminally chargedfor use of force that was legitimate and trained.. Unfortunately, Jefferson County is known for corruption and the “good boy system“. So TJ had his work cut out for him. After four years of back-and-forth and several attempts by the Jefferson County Missouri prosecuting attorney’s office and intimidating me. I took my case to a jury trial. TJ was very instrumental and keeping me updated on everything. He listened and he conducted himself very ethically around people who wouldn’t know what the word “ethics“ are. During the trial TJ was quick to catch one of the states witnesses, a captain with the Jefferson County Missouri sheriffs department, who is the head of their detective bureau, perjuring himself on the stand. Unfortunately, as things go in Jefferson County, the jury did not render the verdict we wished, but it could’ve been much worse. I was charged with one count of felony assault and two counts of misdemeanor assault. TJ with the assistance of. Breanne Besheer was able to successfully argue my case, and I was not convicted of a felony just misdemeanors. It’s not the outcome we all wanted, but of course we all looked at that as a win for avoiding the felony. As stated, this case was very complex and intricate and involved corruption at the highest levels of Jefferson County government and the De Soto, Missouri Police Department. if you’re looking for an attorney who actually cares and conducts himself with ethics and will fight strong for you I would urge you to contact TJ Hunsecker.

We all make mistakes; some of us make illegal ones. being caught is horrifying. Your fate is left in someone else’s hands, and you have little control of what the consequences of your actions will be. It’s like having the lights turned off, it’s pitch black and you can’t find the light switch. Mr. Metos was my light switch. He was patient, non-judgmental, and the best in his field, which is exactly what you want when you find yourself in this type of situation. Fred was able to negotiate a minimal amount of time for my sentence; I received three months which could have been 15 years. Seven years after serving my sentence, Fred was able to have my record expunged. Life is good; I owe a great deal of my success and happiness after that dark period in my life to Fred.

I hired Mr. Ferbreche to handle my husbands criminal cases. I had spoken to a couple of other lawyers in my search for the right one for us and after the first consultation with Greg Ferbrache I knew he was the one. He did what he said he would do and it was a benefit to me forever. Words alone cannot express my gratitude to the entire Passen Law Group team. They took a very difficult time of my life a guided me to successful resolution.
After being rear-ended in a car accident I began having physical difficulties with speech, headaches, memory, taste and ringing in my ears. While in the Emergency Room it was discovered I had incurred a severe traumatic brain injury called a subdural hematoma.
