I had a crazy legal charge of battery. I was driving Lyft and had a crazy lady claim that I hit her. She had a video of me yelling at her and I threw her out of my car. The state wouldn’t dismiss it and I was facing jail time and probation. I had hired Adam and he was confident that he could help meif I took it to trial. Well today we had the trial. I have lived in Palm Beach 43 years playing polo and have had my share of lawyers... He was the best lawyer I ever had. He knows the law better than anyone I ever met. He got the jury to find me “not guilty” and it was because of his personality and knowledge of the law. He knew exactly how to handle it. I thought I would be going to jail. I didn’t even need to testify and he got my charges dropped with a “not guilty” jury verdict. I can’t say enough good things about his skills as an attorney. I got lucky finding him after I got arrested. I never went threw a jury trial before, but he made it easy. I was praying to God for help and I believe in the power of prayer. Today I was a nervous wreck, But he was so funny at times that he made the jury comfortable. He explained the law to them and made them understand that I was not guilty.. I think he is the best criminal defense attorney in Palm Beach County. I highly recommend him for anyone who needs help. I can sleep peacefully tonight.

If I could give this lawyer Adam Farkas no stars I would. Adam was very unprofessional. We paid this lawyer for a first appearance that he didn't even show up too! First appearance was reschedule and Adam had every excuse for not being present at the time of the call instead of taking ownership of missing the zoom. On top of that Adam requested more money for "filing". He did so many things wrong in so little time. It was a complete mess! We had to switch to another lawyer. Adam wouldn't even refund us which we paid him for a first appearance that he missed! Worst experience ever I would not recommend this lawyer at all for any case!

Adam represented me in a traffic citation, which is 'light’ work for him because most of his work is in serious criminal charges. I am an attorney myself, but not a criminal defense attorney, and I was very pleased to see Adam pursue the weak points of the charge against me by succinctly and clearly, but not obnoxiously objecting to irregularities and questioning the witness against me. His courtroom demeanor was highly effective in bringing out the judge’s sense of fairness against the bogus charge against me. In fact, Adam brought out many points showing that the opposing witness is the guilty party, which is the actual situation, so I won ‘hands-down’.
The policeman who was in the hearing room to keep people from brawling kept looking at me like he hated me, over a traffic accident over which he had no prior knowledge, all he knew was that I was a defendant, so it goes to show you the prejudice of law enforcement against defendants, (you know the idea, that if a policeman said it, it’s the gospel truth), which Adam Farkas was able to completely overcome by raising very important points about the state’s case and the testimony of the opposing witness. In fact, Adam Farkas raised important verifiable and unquestionable factual points that show that the alleged infraction by me was completely physically impossible, which are facts that the policemen should have known, but didn’t know, and that won the case for me. He didn’t even need me to testify, I just sat there listening to Adam bring up important questions about the facts of the accusation and to question the opposing witness about facts that showed the illusion that I had committed a crime.
Adam also told me about a hearing he had earlier in the day in a felony case in which he scorched the evidence against his client, and won that one too. He is the best criminal defense attorney that I know of. Would I hire him again? Absolutely yes. I even paid him more than he asked, out of gratitude for his good work. While the bulk of my legal work as an attorney is in transactional work, I was co-counsel at a U.S. Supreme Court case (on prisoner rights) so I am familiar with courtroom advocacy at the highest levels, and Adam was as good as the attorneys I have seen at the U.S Supreme Court.
The world needs attorneys like Adam Farkas to stop false charges against people. He definitely has a gift for this kind of work.

Mr Grossman did not do his due diligence and cooperated with the DA to cause son to lose a trafficking case. We now have two young girls that will not see their father for many years. Run as far away and fast as you can.

My ex-wife and I hired Grossman to defend our son who caught a ride from some questionable people in you from Pensacola to Atlanta where I live. He was asleep in the backseat of the car when he was rudely woken to being in the middle of a high-speed chase from the police. The driver and his wife were throwing drugs out the window my son was telling them the whole time to pull over and to let him out. Of course they were all arrested and drugs were confiscated picked up alongside the road along with some weapons and other items. None of the evidence that was picked up had my son's fingerprints on it or DNA or any physical connection to him. And yet my son is now sentenced to almost 30 years in a federal prison thanks to the inability of Grossman to object to things like the video of the car chase. Why was that even submitted into evidence when he was in the backseat of sleep. The wife of the driver even said that in a recorded statement. She also said a bunch of other stuff that went along with my son's side of the story and yet no one but Grossman could have gotten him almost 30 years and a federal prison. Now I know Christmas is going to have a response to this and how he did everything he could and what I'm saying is not true. Well if anybody's lying it's him. I'm not calling him a liar but if he contradicts what I'm saying then he's lying. Don't waste your money on Richard Grossman.

I dropped off a summary of my case days before a scheduled telephone conference. At the beginning of the phone call Abraham asked me to explain the case. I mentioned the summary I had dropped off but he said he needed to hear it in my own words. Well, fair enough. Maybe he was testing my memory or accuracy. In hindsight it's obvious he hadn't read it. Not a big deal. However, he promised to do two things for me:. give me the name of an elder abuse attorney and get the police to investigate my case. On Google there's a recent review of a client who got upset because Abraham was supposed to call him in two days but it took a week. Well, I was stupidly patient. Abraham didn't do ANYTHING for me in TEN months. When my case goes before a judge I will have to explain why I let this happen, why I was dumb enough to trust Abraham.

I am beyond happy that I retained Mrs Bickerton to work my case for me. I interviewed several different lawyers before settling on this firm, and I firmly believe that if I had hired someone else the results wouldn’t have been as favorable. Not only did Mrs Bickerton manage to successfully argue my case, she made me feel like I’m an actual person and not just a number throughout the whole process. My many questions were all answered in a timely manner, her case law knowledge was superb, and on the one occasion she didn’t have an answer immediately available for me she made sure to research and get back to me right away. I found her pricing to be fair with regards to the service that I received. If I ever needed help again I wouldn’t hesitate to contact her, or refer anyone I knew needed assistance to her.

Once I hired her it took over a year for my case to go to court waiting for a decision that could have been expedited. Only time she would respond if it pertained to money. Didn't use any witnesses that were in place had an affidavit signed by strong witness and didn't use it. All she did was refute and did a case brief not even tried to prove the intent in court. Had solid information on the staff members involved deeming them not credible did not use it. Cross examination skills were very limited. Throughout and before we even went to court kept saying she could win on appeal. Had information and key witnesses to win at that stage. The prosecution had no evidence at all to present just testimony from people that weren't credible and the investigator admitted he didn't do an investigation only testimony. Lost a case to where there was no evidence only testimony. How good are her legal skills? Never could get in contact with her never returned phone calls would go straight to fax. She would answer emails every once in a while. Made herself available a day before court. Didn't have game plan in court all she did was refute and do a case brief. Seems as if she already knew she threw my case once I emailed her letting her know I lost she called me letting me know her prices for the next proceedings. After that pitiful display in the courtroom she should have gave me my money back or offered to do everything else for free. Why take on a case that your not planning on winning. Took my money and gave me very poor representation. Stay away from this attorney she's very ineffective.

So I called to setup an appointment to see ED and scheduled a time, as to note I had to take a day off and I also had to plan to go all the way to Ft Worth from Frisco. The secretary is very unprofessional, answers the phone like its a personal phone, even when I scheduled she rushed the whole process. long story short I get to the Law office on time and no one is there, after 30 mins of waiting the secretary rushes into the office, without acknowledgment. After an additional 5 mins passes she comes out, and with a dismal excuse, she says that Ed will not be available and that he is at trial, my question is , why not call and inform me, she stated she had no time, but instead she had time to go get lunch smh. Anyways glad I didn't spend a dollar on this lawyer. Note, your front end( Receptionist/secretary) is important, they can make you money or make you lose it.

If you have any kind of trial you'd be better off throwing your money away. Very little prep work, very meek in litigation, and puts up little to no fight. According to multiple other attorneys he failed to inform me of a very common law practice and actually suggested the bribe the other attorneys offered for me to drop the case.... this man took money and refused to even return a phone call after he lost the most important moment of my life!

Chris is the man! I got pulled over for doing 15 over the speed limit just entering Chemung County on my way to Horseheads while passing another driver on I86 and the officer cited me for 10. It was Good Friday that day and this wasn’t the best Friday for me to get pulled over lol. I am a PA (out of state) driver so even though the points wouldn’t affect my PA driving record, my auto insurance would have spike if I would have plead guilty to the ticket. Plus I will be moving to New York State shortly so I had to take care of this somehow. I talked with Chris Tunney who assured me that he would able to talk the ADA into reducing the points. And he did just that. In New York state, 10 over the speed limit is 3 points. Chris got my speeding ticket reduced from 3 points to 0 points and a non moving violation. He came through for me like he said he would. If you ever get pulled over, Chris is the man to talk to.

Tom Ford refused to review the discovery for my case. I'm not sure how an attorney can defend you without reviewing the evidence. He did not inform me of court dates and I almost missed one. On another occasion he called me to inform me of the court date 30 minutes before it started when I live an hour away. On one occasion he called me screaming cuss words at me over and over and wouldn't even let me talk and then hung up on me. He was extremely unprofessional and just wanted to try to pressure me to accept a horrible plea deal that included prison time - WITHOUT even reviewing the evidence. Finally I fired him and when I asked for a copy of my file to give to a new attorney he said he didn't have one - that it was all in his head. The new attorney was able to actually review the evidence and negotiate probation for me. If I had stayed with Tom Ford I would be in prison right now.

Mr. Ford was the worst thing that could have happened to my case. My life is tarnished for bogus charges stuck to my plea deal. Where I should have been guilty of only one charge. It was a take the plea or else situation which it was impossible for me to win at trial. The parole board even released me years ahead of my scheduled release due to a more diligent & professional attorney that presented my case and the parole board learned the truth and did what they felt was right. Not only did he take my family’s money, he was poor at communicating. I do not know how he handles lesser charges but if your charges are serious.. PLEASE SEARCH ELSEWHERE!!

Kerry proved to be everything you don't want your lawyer to be: Incompetent, unreachable, late to court hearings, and to top it off he has a huge ego!
He calls from unknown number, to call him you have to go thru the switch board and leave msgs. Most of the time he doesn't even call back, and other times responds via email.
His customer service skills does not jive with the rate he charges you. As he is amongst some of the more expensive attorneys. He collects all the money upfront, that should've been a red flag!
Do yourself a service if you want legal representation stay away from this guy, you be better off with public defender than him

Lazy, Late, and incompetent. late for court twice. Had me plead guilty to a charge i wasn't guilty of. [Out of state residents are not required to register their weapons.] Cost me four times the actual amount of restitution. Poor communication. Tried emailing me that he was late for court because if he called his cell number would show up on my phone. [Who emails anything that needs immediate attention?] Told me to plead the sheet because he was too inept to negotiate a reasonable plea agreement. [why hire an Attorney if you;re just going to plead guilty to everything?] Charged me double the rate and said because it was two cases......after both were combined! If you are smart>DO NOT HIRE THIS IDIOT.

I retained Mr Sabbak for two separate misdemeanor charges that were a decade old. I live in Florida now, so I had to rely on online reviews to help make a decision on which attorney to hire for my cases. I decided on Mr Sabbak because he seemed charismatic on the phone. The first case he was able toget resolved, but on the same conditions that were presented to me 11 years ago when I had no attorney. He did get a warrant recalled for me, but then pushed me towards a resolution that I said from the start I did not want and leveraged the fact that I was out of state to get me to agree to the terms (a stark contrast to what he said he could accomplish on the phone). He did however represent himself and me well for the 2 sentences he said while we were in court. The lack of integrity comes in on the second case. He stated that he could not enter into representation on my second case since I had never been arrested and it was just a warrant. Thus, I had to turn myself in and make first appearance so he could represent me. Upon surrendering myself and waiting for my first appearance court, my charges were dropped. Since I had only received representation in one case, and I retained Mr Sabbak for two cases, I asked for a partial refund upon my release since I had paid in full for two cases. Mr Sabbak said that our retainer was a "flat fee" which wasn't indicated in the retainer and non-refundable. I was VERY adamant about my dire financial situation through our communications and had to borrow money to be able to retain counsel. I never received a response from Mr sabbak after expressing dissatisfaction about the lack of refund. Like I said very little integrity, I would never reccomend such an attorney.

After researching companies that were successful in cases against HOA's I hired this firm 5 years ago. I asked if they could win and was told yes. February 2023 we had to agree to a settlement. In that 5 years we changed lawyers 5 times. I would call to find out what was happening and was always told that they were waiting on the HOA attorney and that's just the way this worked. I ended up paying this attorney more than if I had just paid the HOA fine. There is no real update from them, unless you call their monthly bill an update. The last attorney assigned did manage to get a settlement worked out. We took it because I was not going to drag this out another 5 years and 5 different attorneys.

This is a poor start. After speaking with the staff and an attorney with the John Miller and Associates Law Firm...
I paid the non-refundable fee, agreed to the initial date and time set by the staff and called 1 hour before the appointed time to confirm the appointment.
After the appointed time and 15 min before the close of business, I called the office and was informed that the attorney was not going to make the meeting.
Summary: the attorney did not display the expected professionalism and courtesy to take the time to call to me, and provide an apology and reschedule the meeting.
This is definitely a teachable moment for John Miller and his Associates...provide timely information to the clients and be more considerate of our time.

Hiring Nicholas Saranto was a terrible decision. I paid him $1,750 as a retainer, trusting he would represent me as agreed. Instead, he did almost nothing to move my case forward. Key filings like the motion to dismiss and countersuit were never submitted, despite his repeated assurances. In the end,I had to draft and file these documents myself—something no paying client should ever have to do.
To make matters worse, Mr. Saranto attempted to charge me an additional $1,155 for a plane ticket to attend a service hearing, claiming he would be out of town trick-or-treating with his niece. The hearing date was known since the start of his representation, yet he thought it was acceptable to stick me with this unethical charge. These fees weren’t part of our agreement and felt like a blatant attempt to squeeze me for more money.
Finally, just two days before the service hearing, he withdrew as my attorney, abandoning me when I needed representation the most. This was both unprofessional and unethical, especially considering I had paid him for work he never completed.
I am furious with how I was treated and feel completely taken advantage of. If you’re considering hiring Mr. Saranto, save yourself the money, stress, and disappointment. Look elsewhere—you deserve better.

Mr. Sarantos does indeed come off as someone that cares and is the right guy. Don't be tricked. I will attest to my personal experience, one that I still am dealing with.
2 weeks ago I consulted. On 10/24 I paid $1000 for just a demand letter for a denied $20k claim against my carrier that I intend to take to small claims. I am new father, a student, fighting cancer, and have a full time job. I got weaseled by my renters insurance on some bs after I had my home invaded and was robbed of almost everything of value. Due to the loss I have had to drop two classes and probably will drop the others to save my gpa because the situation got me very far behind and without any electronics to do online coursework. He knew this and after receiving payment has gone radio silent ***except when I called off my friends number , he answered , asked me if I had given him the loss inventory and some contact info that had already sat in his inbox for 4-5 days. He said he was on it and has gone back to zero communication(no text, email, or phone call back).
Taking money with intention of not rendering service or with the intention and delivering this quality of service is just wrong and why I give one star.

Brad filed for a warrant motion recall when he should not have, just to take my money. I had hire another attorney first and I should’ve stayed with him. My son was falsely accused and he was found innocent from questioning, so the detective told me that I didn’t need an attorney. I told Brad macfee and he acted like he was in shock. If I would not have said anything about a refund he would’ve kept my money. I paid him $1500. Who would allow someone to keep their money for nothing. Not me! He told me that he would give me my $1000 back. He got his secretary or whatever she is working from her home, because he has no office to send me an invoice. Saying that he charged me for my affidavits $300 for an hour. We never talked about that, if we did I would not have agreed to that is what I texted him. He never called me back and he ignore my calls after the day he told me a lie about my money. I called and texted a week later asking about my money and Liz said that she didn’t have my address, but Brad had it. Poor communication on their end. I went to her address to pick up my $825 check. I wouldn’t recommend him to a cat. This is what I text Brad and he just read my messages everytime that I text him. Coward

Brad was the worst lawyer EVER he stole over $500 and never returned my money he played so many games and never barely called us. Not to mention it was like pulling a persons heart out with your bare hands. That’s how hard it was to get in contact. mr sisson represented in a restraining order case,sat through the hearing and said little in my defense,had he done his job the person accusing would have been charged with perjury,accusations were totally false.recently I talked to a local atty,about the case,it seems that Outagamie co.did not have jurisdiction in the case[case must be heard in co. where it occurred or in defendents home co.sisson charged 1500 dollars for doing nothing,i believe he should have known about the jurisdiction issue,thank you

I hired Rick to work on my divorce case. I didn't get the work and results that I would expect at his rates. After continued arguments about billing and him losing every plea in my case, I fired him. He then filed a lien against me in Martin County and I was forced to pay his ridicules bill in full. Never again, as there are to many other local attorneys that are more cost effective.. When it first became necessary to hire an attorney, Mr. Barlow made himself available to me on a Sunday afternoon in his office to facilitate the needs of my schedule. He was also preparing for a trial starting the next day and I thought that his willingness to meet with me on Sunday when he was preparing for another matter was especially client oriented and showed a sincere interest in helping me retain counsel as soon as possible to relieve some of the burden from my shoulders.
Mr. Barlow listened to my entire story and all of the facts and came up with a strategy which was virtually the same as I had anticipated being an attorney myself, though a different type of attorney. Anticipating a battle lasting well into 2014, I was pleasantly surprised when we were able to get to a final hearing in mid December and everything was over.
I found Mr. Barlow be thoughtful, thorough, and compassionate. He and his paralegal make a good team for anyone who needs competent and honest representation. I would refer friends and clients who might require services in his practice areas without hesitation.

Mr. Hancock was hired and paid in full to defend my husband in a criminal case. Their first meeting was in a parking lot....what?! Husband has since been to court three times. This lawyer hasn't shown one time. He also will not answer his phone or return calls. In my opinion Mr. Hancock should face criminal charges...he was paid in full to defend a client, then a no show. This to me is theft. Also, when we are a no show in court, they put a warrant out for us. The same should apply to everyone whether you are the lawyer or the defendant. This is ludicrous. My husband is not his only victim. There are more. I just don't understand how an attorney can just do this to people with no consequences whatsoever.

If you or your loved one's freedom is on the line, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! About 10 years ago, I was referred to Mr. Hancock by another attorney to represent my husband due to his cases location being in KY (he is licensed to practice in both states). He kept communication lines open, displayed a respectable and strong presence in the courtroom, treated my husband with respect and fought for him while also working with me, allowing us to make payments.
With that said, it was for all these reasons that we contacted Mr. Hancock a few weeks ago in hopes of retaining him for my husband's defense counsel in regards to a more recent matter. Mr. Hancock, again agreed to represent my husband and stated that we could make payments but that he would need a deposit of $1k, which we agreed to. It took us a few days but we were able to procure the funds and once we did, we made NUMEROUS calls to both numbers that are publicly listed for Me. Hancock over the next few days, leaving voicemails that we had the down payment plus some. After leaving MULTIPLE messages with no response, I then proceeded to text Mr. Hancock a slew of messages (all of which were completely respectful in nature), asking for any response, at this point, even if he had, for some reason, decided not to take the case. Nothing and he had been informed and was knowledgeable about the urgency due to his court date being only a couple days away.
I understand that things happen and situations arise that are personal and even emergencies in some instances but to this day, we have yet to hear from him.
SO AGAIN I REPEAT, DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THIS MAN-- HE HAS SHOWN NO RESPECT OR EMPATHY OR REGARDS FOR US AND FOR WHAT REASON? YOU DONT DO THAT TO SOMEONE...ESPECIALLY A FATHER OF 4 CHILDREN WHOSE FREEDOM IS AT STAKE, WHO HAS ALWAYS PAID ON TIME, BEEN RESPECTFUL, AND NEVER GIVEN ANY REASON FOR THIS BLATANT DISREGARD!!

I was looking at this site and saw the negative review from the guy whose case was dismissed and I am surprised that he was complaining about a dismissal. I had Mr. McBride deal with a Felony Assault with a Weapon arrest back in 2010 and I was happy with both the result (no conviction on my record) and the service (he immediately presented my issues to a supervising District Attorney). I would use this office again without hesitation as the fee was a fraction of what other lawyers charged for this. Maybe things changed or maybe the other client really had different expectations than I did but, I don't see how you can complain about a dismissal?

I was arrested on a restraining order violation.
Hired Mr. McBride as my attorney.
This was a very, very easy case for ANY attorney to have dismissed.
My opponent had removed a critical part of the Judges order in the restraining order which prohibited me from being arrested.
When the Sheriffs did not see that order, I was arrested.
Mr. McBride spoke to the District Attorney assigned to my case and immediately showed the DA the discrepancy in the two restraining orders: One said I could not be arrested (mine and the original courts), the other did not have that page (my opponents he gave to the Sheriff for evidence).
The DA immediately asked Mr. McBride, "How do I know your client did not write that himself and stick it in there?" (fair question).
Mr. McBride said, "You don't. I don't. Get the original court order and get back to me."
When the DA obtained the original court order and saw the original and mine were identical and my opponents copy had that critical page missing, the DA knew immediately that page was removed and, knowing there was no way the DA would win this case, dismissed the case before trial.
Easy case to have dismissed before trial.
Why so few stars when he won my case?
Having Mr. McBride return phone calls was a case in futility.
This attorney just NEVER corresponds with his clients.
In my case, the first meeting with Mr. McBride and the DA was in November.
The case was continued until Dec 18th for the DA to receive the original court order.
After December 18, I did call Mr. McBride a couple times, hoping to get an update before the Christmas break. No such luck.
I phoned Mr. McBride at least 10 times in January. Never a return call.
I phoned Mr. McBride at least 5 times in February until he finally answered his phone.
I asked him for an update on my case.
He said the case was dismissed back in December. I asked why he didn't call me or send me an email or a text to let me know that it was dismissed.
Mr. McBride said, "The court should have done that."
No Sir. You're MY attorney. I hired YOU. YOU do that. Not the courts.
That's what you get from Mr. McBride.
Good luck receiving updates or a courtesy return phone call.
I'm sure when Mr. McBride improves on this much needed aspect of his practice, his ratings will dramatically improve as well.

Adam was my court appointed attorney in a case involving CPS. He did nothing. Refused to do simple things I requested. I actually had to go above him and ask the judge himself if I could speak. My child would have went to foster care if I had not spoke up and did his job for him. I fired him and hired Steven McNeil. And I won after firing Adam. He's lazy . Unprepared. Rude. Very short with his clients. I absolutely DO NOT recommend him.
