Once Mr MacFee, accepted my case and agreed on a retainer he went straight to work. I will say my case was a long and hard, almost 3 years long one. And even as long as it was and complex, he never went up on cost. Mr. MacFee is a nice person but at the same time he is a beast in a court room. He kept me informed the whole way. And he told me what was going to happen at each turn. If I ever need a lawyer or was able to refer someone it would be Bradley.. Mr MacFee is great in my opinion. James.

On May 3, 2017 I called Brad MacFee and asked him to go and see my fiance, who at the time was incarcerated and awaiting trial on a 1st degree murder charge. Needless to say, the fact that he was facing such a serious charge and was incarcerated and away from us was causing a significant amount of stress to the family. Within a few days Brad went out and interviewed my fiance. He throughly reviewed the case using the information he had available to him at the time, which was essentially the police report and the information provided to him by his client. After the visit Brad called me, discussed with me what he had discussed during the visit and told me how much it would cost for him to handle the case. Under the circumstances I thought the fee was more than reasonable and I retained Brad to begin representation. According to the information Brad obtained, there were 2 people that claimed to be eyewitnesses to the murder. With that, Brad focused on locating those people and investigating their version of event and their credibility. In the weeks leading up to the trial, it became clear that one of the witnesses was missing and would not be found. That left a single remaining eyewitness on whom the state would have to rely to obtain a conviction. Brad located this person and met with him and his family, interviewing all of them thoroughly. As it turned out, this witness, who had previously identified my fiance in a photo lineup, claimed that he had been coerced into making that identification. He also denied even seeing the crime, but claimed that he had been arrested on a drug charge, and had been told by the police that if he cooperated with them and made the necessary identification, there would be no charges filed against him related to the drug case. On the morning trial was set to begin, the eyewitness signed an affidavit swearing to the information he had previously provided. Naturally, this fact created a major problem for the state, whose sole eyewitness had now claimed under oath that his entire involvement in the case was a sham. I assume this fact ultimately payed into the decision of the state to dismiss the charges against my fiance, thereby eliminating even the possibility that he could be convicted in this case. At the en of the day, the point is that not just anyone is capable of handling a case this serious. You need a lawyer that is willing to get out into the street and get his hands dirty in an effort to obtain every possible advantage for his client. In Baltimore City, where the murder rate is at an all-time high, prosecutors are under tremendous pressure to bring these cases to trial and win convictions. They simply do not drop these cases like they were speeding tickets. It was only because Brad was willing to go out and do what needed to be done that the state reluctantly made the decision to dismiss the charges. That said, I am very, very glad we made the decision to bring Brad MacFee in to handle this case for us, and if you ever find yourself in a similar position, I would strongly encourage you to at east talk with him before making the critical decision regarding who will represent you or your loved one.

My fiance was attacked with a knife and he did what he had to. The guy that attacked him ended up badly injured and the police arrested by fiance. He was charged with Attempted first degree murder, first degree assault, second degree assault, and assault with a deadly weapon. I immediately began searching for a lawyer that could help us. I met with numerous lawyers and spoke to many over the phone. I was referred to Bradley Macfee from a family member. At this point I was honestly so stressed over this because I couldn’t find a lawyer that was a good fit. I met with a lot of good lawyers, but I didn’t feel like they would really fight for us. I didn’t want empty promises about the outcome because that would be a lie. I wanted someone that would be ruthless and fight. I found exactly what I was searching for in Brad. He was very straight up with me and he was very down to earth. He immediately began working to try to get my fiance out of jail. Over the time that he was in jail, he went to see him numerous times. He was denied bail, so Bradley put in for a Habeas Corpus motion to get him a bail review. Due to the fact that he was on probation, we had to go in front of the judge that gave him probation. When the hearing finally came up, Brad ended up speaking with the judge prior to the start of the hearing where she told him that she was in no way going to give him a bail and that she’ll hear him out, but he isn’t going anywhere. So, since we couldn’t get a bail, we began working on the case. He was very attentive to any questions or concerns that I had. He made various efforts to talk with witnesses. He called them and even went to a bar he knew that they would be at and was there until around midnight. From very early on in this process, he was talking to the prosecutor to try to influence her to drop the case. He spoke with the prosecutor and she explained to Brad that she was unsure of what she was going to with the case. She asked him to give her two weeks and to then give her a call back. I honestly was thinking he was going to get a decent amount of jail time for this charge because of the severity of it. I met with another lawyer that told me, he was probably going to get ten years in jail. I will never ever forget October 11, 2016. I was at physical therapy and I got a call from Brad, a day earlier than he was supposed to be talking to the prosecutor. Brad said, “Are you sitting down” and I said yes. He explained to me that the prosecutor was dropping the charges completely. I immediately broke down in tears. I was uncontrollably crying and I can’t never even explain the feeling of relief and thankfulness that I felt that day. Brad then moved up the violation of probation hearing and he was able to come home the day of the hearing. I will never be able to repay Brad for what he has done for me and my family. I would recommend everyone to him. We are now currently using Brad for a child custody case.

A family member recently received two underage drinking citations within a few month period. The close proximity of the charges threatened to leave a permanent record that could be a burden to the client's reputation and advancement for years. In this somewhat unusual case, Bill Henry proposed a creative solution to the Court that was accepted and ultimately resulted in the complete dismissal and expungement of all charges. Bill's ongoing timely communication to multiple Maryland state officials and to us, his clients, was exemplary. We were continuously updated by phone, email, and in personal meetings, as to the status of all proceedings. I have worked with mr Henry twice on two different cases. The first was my fathers estate It was a very sticky mess and required knowledge of all different aspects with properties under water and extreme debt. However mr Henry handled the estate well and everything worked out so well. He gave the best advice and broke down all the legal jargon for me to better understand my options. The second was my own will he did it for my husband and I and did a great job. Of course it was done well and fast! He is a great lawyer and person. I highly recommend him.

Joel Duboff.. what can I say about this man? Great attorney, funny, determined, confident and not intimidated. He has a great office team and when you get there, they’ll treat you just like a family member. You worry about payment when you think about bringing him a case? Don’t! As long as you are able to stick to your promise, he got you with a payment plan. I was charged with assault-second degree on 3 counts and my case was dropped yesterday because he knew how to handle it and how to talk to the judge. Thus, I walked out clean with zero charges! Dilip Paliath took my grandson case in the Fall of 2015. Mr. Paliath had to drive three hours to attend the court session beginning at 9:00 am. My grandson met with Mr. Paliath before court began. Mr. Paliath ask personal questions and discussed different roles of court persons. My grandson did not understand the concepts of court and Mr. Paliath expressed this concern to the judge. It was determined by the judge that my grandson needed training about court. Mr. Paliath had to return during the winter twice and the case was not settled until June 2016. Through all of this Mr. Paliath kept in contact about each and every court corespondence. Mr. Paliath is both kind and a complete professional. I will call him again!!

Larry was amazing. I was visiting Calvert county for a family members wedding. After the wedding on my drive back to the hotel. I was pulled over for crossing the center divider line beaten. The police officer had me conduct a sobriety test. During the sobriety test two other officers arrived and almost immediately started to get physical with me. I ended the night in the ICU with 11 criminal charges! I was certain I. Was headed to jail for An extended period of time 3/5! Larry was able to BEAT EVERY CHARGE! One night, I had a little too much to drink and was arrested and had four charges. I have never been in trouble with the law and I had no idea what I had gotten myself into. Mr. Sysko and his team represented me regarding a recent clearance decision. From the beginning, you could tell he had taken on many clearance cases in the past, as he was very knowledgeable of my situation and what was needed to provide a strong appeal. When I first spoke with him, Mr. Sysko was very realistic about the possible outcome, which I greatly appreciated. In the end, the clearance decision was overturned, which I attribute directly to the work conducted by Mr. Sysko and his team.

I hired Doug as my lawyer in 2016 when I was in a hit-and-run car accident as a passenger. I came to him because I wanted to focus on healing and the insurances were already throwing numbers at me and other issues. Having him as a lawyer allowed me to focus on myself. Doug was available throughout the process and handled anything I need. Shannon Hammond did an excellent job for my parents. Her expertise was/is so impressive. Originally, we went to a lawyer in Rockville who didn't do anything and yet charged my parents $3,500. I witnessed the initial experience with both lawyers. On our first meeting Shannon Hammond spent over 2 hours asking questions and with the information created an excel spreadsheet - the information was unique to my parents' situation. One month prior to meeting Shannon Hammond we met with a Rockville lawyer who spent 1/2 hour with us; we knew nothing when we left her office. The Rockville lawyer directed me to provide all information to her; her paralegal filled in an already issued template from the information I provided which took me over a week to gather. The Rockville lawyer did not create anything original (it was a template) whereas Shannon Hammond created the unique excel spreadsheet that pertained directly to my parents' situation. The Rockville lawyer rushed through whatever information she was trying to provide us whereas Shannon Hammond took so much time that even my mother understood what she was presenting to us. My parents will continue to use Shannon Hammond as will the rest of my family. I have already recommended Shannon to friends who will be using her in the future. She's the best and I cannot say enough great things about her especially since I had experienced a horrible lawyer prior to meeting Shannon. Shannon Hammond respects all who speak to her unlike the Rockville lawyer who was always too busy to take calls, etc. I highly recommend using Shannon Hammond for any elder care services but especially if applying for Medicaid.

Unfortunately my Mother passed away without having a Will or any of her Estate affairs in order. Prior to my mothers passing I had never handled an Estate before. I contacted a few attorneys but didn't feel they were the right fit for all of the complications pertaining to the Estate. Some attorney's weren't even willing to take it on. A neighbor of mine (who is an attorney) suggested that I contact Mr. Andre McDonald to handle my Mothers Estate. After our initial phone consultation, I knew immediately that he was the the right fit for all that needed to be accomplished. It was around the holidays. Mr. McDonald went above and beyond the typical duties that involve getting an Estate opened. He stayed involved and was on top of every aspect regarding the Estate throughout the entire process. He followed through with getting the Estate closed in a timely fashion. Mr. McDonald was very professional and knew exactly what to do and how to handle the Estate. He was always informative and reliable. Mr. McDonald always personally returned my phone calls and my emails in a timely manner. I knew GEICO was not giving me fair compensation for my injuries as I was ambulanced to the hospital on a back brace after 2 GEICO insured motorist slammed into the side of my car while I was waiting for a red light. Bob intervention in my case yielded me over 4 times the offer by GEICO. I am glad I did not settle. Bob was truly genuine about me and not just the case. I highly recommend him to anyone.

My fiance and I were hurt in a car crash and Geico low-balled us so Clark and Steinhorn put it into a lawsuit and got a nearly 50% increase in offer to settle the case. Clark and Steinhorn negotiated reductions in outstanding medical bills and the health insurance lien to assist me in the recovery process. During this very tough time, Clark and Steinhorn provided us with access to a wealth of industry knowledge and experience. They were both prompt and sensitive in addressing any concerns during the entire process. We hopefully will never need their services again, but I definitely appreciated the professional demeanor of Clark and Steinhorn.

I was involved in an auto accident, and hired a different attorney who i felt after several meetings wasn't listening or working as hard as he could have for me, so I met with Mr. Clark of Clark and Steinhorn and instantly decided to fire my other attorney and hire Mr. Clark. He kept me up to date on everything going on with my case, we had several meetings and anytime I needed him for anything he was there to answer any questions. The other insurance question only felt I was entitled to $1,000 settlement, it was no where close to a number we were happy with, Bob was able to get them to settle for $22,500 after filing suit. We were able to keep it out of court, and get a number I was comfortable with. I couldnt have done without them. I would highly recommend this firm to anyone needing legal help.

After contacting Kirk Halpin, and securing his service, he immediately got to work on our problem. An old loan (2005) that was totally paid off (2007) still showed as an open lien on our property. As a result, the buyer’s Title Company would not approve the sale until this lien was accurately proven to be satisfied. After only a few hours Kirk was able to find three avenues for resolution. After only 10 days one of those avenues came forward with documentation that the lien was in fact satisfied, but was registered in Baltimore County, and not Howard County where the property resides. His aggressive and professional approach led to us being able to close on the sale of our home. We are so thankful we were able to hire Kirk as our lawyer.

I consulted with Kirk regarding an issue with repairs during the home buying process. Kirk took the time to talk to me about our case and was very knowledgeable, experienced, and thorough. Kirk's consultation was by far the best that we have experienced. He explained our options, as well as things we could try first before hiring an attorney. We took his advice and ultimately, we did not have to hire Kirk. However, if we had to hire an attorney, we would have hired him in a heart beat.

Rose did a fantastic job drawing up the wills, advanced directives, and durable powers of attorney for my wife, adult daughter, and myself, and additionally defined the trust for our son who is still a minor. Two things impressed us most: 1) she went through each of the many documents with us individually until she was sure we understood them all completely; and 2) she was very patient with us when we wanted to change some things after we had a better understanding of the documents. She didn't rush us, and that meant everything to us in making sure we got the documents right. Rose is fantastic.
