If you are considering filing for bankruptcy, pick up the phone and make an appointment to see Atty. Richard Hackerman, otherwise you can always visit his office to arrange for the filing information. I filed for bankruptcy a few months ago and discovered that Atty. Hackerman is extremely knowledgeable on such case and he is very competent. He was very good at explaining to us the entire process and he offered us several choices that helped us make the right decisions. If you have any question, he will be more than happy to answer them and follow up with your case status. I would definitely recommend him, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have chosen him for my case.

I was really in a bind last year when I couldn’t pay my bills, and I had creditors calling me daily. I had no idea what to do when a friend explained to me that bankruptcy might be my best option. I started surfing the web for bankruptcy lawyers in Baltimore with no idea how I was going to come up with the money to pay a lawyer. After meeting with Richard Hackerman, he calmed my nerves and explained the entire situation to me. I realized that declaring bankruptcy might be the best way to get my finances together and start over. We worked out a reasonable payment plan and he did everything he could to ensure that I would get my life back. I am forever grateful to Richard Hackerman for helping me through that incredibly tough time.

I hired Mr Ewan to handle my custody case in Montgomery County. He’s straight up (to say the least). He always kept me aware of my options, advised me well and handled my case thoroughly. The opposing party is now quiet and I’ve had no issues with him since the custody case has closed (he was quite noisy before lol). He’s a great attorney. I would hire him again. Hopefully I will not have the need to :)

When I needed a lawyer against a big corporation, I looked everywhere and It was not easy at first unless I come up with big $$. I almost gave up until someone referred me to the Spencer Firm. Money was not an issue. They welcome me and listen to me. " We will help you" they said. I felt like 100 pounds came off my head. Deyka Spencer explained to me on the eye of the law what was possible and not possible, what I can expect going to court and/dealing with the company. She did not harrassed me for fees or money. They made it so easy I knew there that God Almighty sent her to me. She pulled the victory wit huh out even facing the judge. She knows the Law and my company knew that I had one of the best lawyer. I selected Emily Russell of McCabe Russell, P.A. for legal representation in a divorce case and a civil case as the Plaintiff and it morphed into an unfounded restraining order case and an unfounded criminal case with me as the defendant. Emily has the knowledge and experience in dealing with high conflict / challenging family law cases (narcissists) and her calm, professional demeanor and thorough preparation was successful in winning all the cases in my favor. With the stress of four cases happening concurrently, having Emily, Associate Attorney Jennifer Bradbury and their supporting staff’s personal attention to the details of each case was a huge relief to me. Custody modification is often even more challenging than an initial custody proceeding. The "material change" and "best interest" standards are rather subjective and a judge is not inclined to change a custody agreement without overwhelming evidence that it would improve the child's situation. Despite the inherent difficulty, Ms. Russell achieved the exact result we set out to achieve in my custody modification case. She is an incredible strategist and litigator with a total command of MD custody law. Every part of the plan was well-considered and well-executed. I would highly recommend Emily for any family law matter. I would also recommend listening to her when she provides advice. Unlike some attorneys, she doesn't hedge on every recommendation to the point that you're making all the decisions without knowing the possibilities of how those decisions will turn out. She will provide sound advice taking into account the facts of the matter. Tell her the truth, take her advice, and let her do her job. She is equipped to attain the best possible outcome for you and your family.

My very first impression of Emily was amazing. Friends of mine were having their first child and the hospital would not allow the non birth mother to access their newborn due to them being a same sex couple. Emily not only answered her phone right away, she drove to the hospital to make sure her clients were being taken care of! Emily (and Heather) stepped in to handle was was quickly becoming a very emotional situation. Within moments the problem was solved and our friends had a smooth adoption afterwards. I knew Emily was going to be my first call to handle dissolving a civil union (issued only in Vermont) that I had been a part of since 2001. Emily met with me to go over my options on what I was told by two other attorneys would be nearly impossible and very costly. My former partner and I were tethered to a civil union that states no longer recognized and they were obsolete as marriage equality was on the horizon. The unfortunate part was those living in civil unions who had separated, like myself were caught up in the red tape of the courts with many courts claiming no jurisdiction, yet this was still a legal binding that would had to be dissolved to get officially married. From the start Emily said "we will get this done, and if we can't at first we will keep trying until we do". Emily went far above and beyond in my case. On the day before the trial, the courts were all of a sudden requesting my EX be present. She lives 1200 miles away. Emily called the court endlessly the entire day and after hours, she faxed forms to the judge and guided not only me but pointed my ex in the proper direction to make sure she would not be left in some sort of trouble with the courts. As my case was in front of the judge, i was worried! I felt the judge was tough on the cases before mine....Emily was right next to me and consistently told me "its ok". When it was time for my case, Emily was confident and calm in front of the judge. She had a quick response for every question and was prepared for what seemed like anything and everything. 10 minutes later, my civil union which had been in limbo for years, was dissolved! Emily Charged me a regular uncontested divorce rate. She responded to every call and email within hours. I still can't believe it and Emily and I stay in touch to this very day! if you need an attorney, this is your answer. EMILY AND HEATHER. They are not just attorneys, they are real people who truly get it. You'll never feel intimidated or pressured, Emily made me feel like she was fighting for a personal friend the entire time.

I went to Ana in 2013 trying to get my American residence, and since the begging she was not very, very nice but very effective, I got my residence 6 months after we sent the papers to immigration. It was very nice how she kept me inform always and available every time I needed her.

After been denied by the uscis to a permanent resident status for fraud and misrepresentation and be put on removal procedure, I lost hope to stay with my family. My case was very difficult and complicated. After learning my homework from my previous mistake, I decide to chose a very experimented attorney to defend my case. After contacting several lawyers, a professor of law referred me to Mrs Ana Zigel. At our firs meeting, she impressed me and my wife by her acknowledge of the immigration law amd her honesty by telling us that my case is very difficult but there is a change. During all the processus , she was always available for my questions and concerns. And the most important is she understood my fear and she help me regain confidence. Until the last second of my judgement , I was afraid to be separate with my kids and wife. But, she was optimistic and she was right. I really don't know how to thank her. But I believe she is the best immigration attorney in us.

I went through 5 lawyers until I found Ana. I was in deportation court because I went back home through an approved parol papers while waiting for my green card. To make my story short, all those previous lawyers told me that I didn't follow the rules/regulations from immigration and that I don't have a choice but to go back home since I can't prove it to the court that my leaving this country can cause extreme hardship to my American citizen immediate family. Ana thought outside the box and beyond and find ways to extend my court date until immigration finally agreed that those applicants that went out of the country through an approved parol should be allowed to stay here and be given green card if they are in good standing with the law. Ana became more than a lawyer to me. I felt like she was my therapist when I was on my lowest point of my life. She listened and gave me hope and at the same time she was realistic. I owe Ana my green card!

Mr. Roper was a great help in my legal battle. Pertaining to a restraining order that was falsely filed against me by my ex-girlfriend who I caught lying & cheating. Jennifer Matthews Is a phenomenal Lawyer. She worked with me on my Traffic (DUI ) case, and helped guide me every step of the way. She was very patience and understanding of what was a very sensitive case for me (Due to my secret clearance and military background ) . I was worried, and nervous about what was going to happen to me, and I also thought it was going to hurt my career. Jennifer was very discreet while working on my case, which was very reassuring. Before I decided to look her up, I visited quite a few lawyers to talk about my case, and needless to say they were less than helpful. Most of them made me feel more like a number than they actually cared. I was running low on time and I went to go this one lawyer who was going to have me just take the quick and easy way out (take a deal / Plea), and was going to charge me an astronomical amount to do so. Needless to say I was thinking about just representing myself that is until I came across Jennifer Matthews name on a review website. I was going to give one last person a try, because it was starting to become draining seeing so many people and explaining the case. I started by giving her a call and talking to her on the phone, I already within 5 minutes of talking to her felt a little more at ease. To be honest I was still skeptical though, most of the people that I spoke with on the phone sounded nice and like they cared... at first. I went to meet her in person (still skeptical and nervous) and as she introduced herself and I sat down I felt more comfortable than I did with any of the other people I talked to. We reviewed my case together and discussed what my options were at that time, and what I needed to do to get the case moving forward. She was straight forwarded with me from the start. She didn’t sugarcoat anything, and she put everything on the table. I knew everything from our first meeting, which was nice. I never felt like she was going leave me hanging or charge me extra later. I really liked how she talked to me as a person, not belittling me or treating me different because of my case. I can honestly say I trusted her. As my court date came closer, she kept in touch on a regular bases and making sure we had everything we needed for the case. I never felt unprepared nor unimportant. The day of the trial she met me at the courthouse where she was fully prepared for the case. She knew what she was doing. She kept in contact with the court the whole time. Oh and not to mention her attention to detail, she found some inconsistencies in the reports on my case, which was for my benefit. Needless to say I would consider my case a huge win and I don’t think it would have ended the way it did with any other person by my side. I’m sure this goes without saying I would most certainly recommend Jennifer to anyone who needs an amazing defense lawyer. She will be by your side every step of the way, and will not leave you hanging. She is the best, and It would be in anyone’s best interest that is in need of help to look her up. -Jon

My son was arrested for some pretty serious charges. I had never had to deal with anything like that before and didn't know where to begin. A friend who had Jennifer for a DUI recommended her. She was amazing! She helped us find a bail bondsman in the middle of the night. Met with us as soon as he was released. She really listened to us and took an immediate interest in the case. She took all the time necessary to explain the process, the court system, everything until we felt comfortable. She is serous top notch and I don't know how we would have gotten through that nightmare without her! Absolutely recommend!

I was using Attorney Farmer’s office to handle a criminal case a few years ago. My ex was falsely accusing me of child abuse to win a child custody battle. Attorney Farmer deferred the case to Attorney Langford. He was smart and calmed my nerves with his sense of humor. He told me why from a legal stand point what my ex was trying to do the court wouldn’t go for. He told me do not feel worried going in and that he was not afraid and very confident that we would have a favorable outcome. He calmed me not only with his confidence but his reference to how he was tackle each charge in accordance to the law. Even though my ex didn’t show up and the case was tossed out- I did not walk into the court afraid I was very at ease. He even referred me to the most excellent child custody office - Murphy Law Firm. I highly recommend Attorney Langford. He will give you the confidence you need- deff the defense I needed to beat those false charges against me. I know without a doubt had my ex showed at court- Attorney Langford would have taken care of it without breaking a sweat.

Ten years ago, I needed an attorney to handle my separation and divorce. I knew at the time that it was going to be very difficult and tumultuous. I asked around family and friends for recommendations. A neighbor of mine highly recommended Alan Levenstein of Houlan and Berman. She had been through a very complex and contentious divorce and was very happy with the services that Alan had provided. With that, I decided to have Alan represent me. It was a great decision! My situation, like many others, consisted of the opposing party who wanted everything plus more that they could get. Through Alan’s very capable hands, he was able to minimize the financial impact to myself. Alan skillfully negotiated and crafted a settlement agreement that was optimal, safe, fair overall and most important that provided financial protection if my circumstances should change. As time progressed and my circumstances changed, Alan was able to craft and negotiate a modification to the original agreement. Recently, as my circumstances changed again, Alan was able to craft and negotiate a buy-out of my settlement for a very significant amount less than what my full-term payout would have been on the original settlement. I am thrilled! It’s all over and behind me! Alan did a masterful job. Throughout the process, Alan was able to counsel and guide me through numerous interrogatories and deposition. Numerous times, he coached me and calmed me down especially when he sensed my anger or despair. He made me focus on the task at hand and reigned me in when I felt overwhelmed. Debbie is the best. She is thorough, competent, ethical, principled - - and an amazing trial lawyer. I suffered excruciating neck pain after being rear-ended by another motorist. Although the other driver was at fault, their insurance company dismissed my injuries because my car had suffered only minor damage. This meant my case had to go to jury trial. Debbie did such a superb job of presenting my case that the jury found in my favor and awarded me damages. Debbie did an amazing job of representing me during trial. Roger Weinberg is not only a compassionate person, he is a highly competent and effective lawyer. We worked with Roger for two years in our case regarding our mother's unfortunate neglect at an assisted living facility. It has been a few years but I first consulted Kaitlyn to help close out a deceased parent's estate. What was expected originally to be a simple process turned into a very lengthy ordeal filled with all types of unexpected legal challenges due to circumstances we didn't expect. I was charged with first degree assault. As soon as I came in for my consultation with Carlos I knew I came to the right attorney. Throughout my case he kept me very well informed of the status of my case. He worked very hard to bring my case to a resolution before my hearing. My case went from a felony charge to a minor misdemeanor of disorderly conduct, that was later expunged. If you have any criminal charges don't waste your time go to Carlos Salvado.

Peter, over the past three years, helped me get the best result ever. My case has been expunged, and I have been able to continue to grow rather than be hindered by my past actions.
