I have had occasion to be involved in several real estate transactions with Attorney Rachel Sanders as recently as two months ago. When I learned of AVVO and what it was, I immediately wanted to let others know of the superior service I received from Attorney Sanders. I was never left with unanswered question, documentation was prepared in a timely fashion,and above all I was made to feel as if I were the most important client during these transactions. Some times matters such as these can be perfunctory at best, and pleasantries are usually a casualty of the business at hand. I can honestly say that Rachel Sanders is always cheerful,and willing to do the extras that others in this line of work simply would not do. Plainly stated, Rachel Sanders will be my Attorney of choice for all my future needs in real estate matters!

The firm of Kline and Sanders is second to none in my opinion. I have used them twice within the last year in order to facilitate two real estate deals. I was referred to attorney Aritice and when I tell you I had the best experience ever. Not only he was very knowledgeable about my immigration case but he was very hands on with follow up calls. I had never hired a lawyer before, so I asked some friends about their lawyers. Two of them said that I should see Roberta, who lives in my town. I was nervous when I called, but her secretary, Jeanne, was very friendly. Jeanne asked me some questions, to make sure that Roberta could handle my case, and set up an appointment. She told me the first consultation was free. When I walked in, there was the cutest dog I have ever seen (he is Roberta's dog). His name is Sam. Jeanne asked me if I was ok with dogs. I was (I have three dogs), so I played with him until Roberta met with me. Roberta was very friendly and asked a lot of questions about me, my health, my children, and why I was meeting with her. It was very easy to talk to her. I told her I needed a Will. She explained that I should also have a Power of Attorney and Health Care Proxy. She asked me if I was concerned about protecting my house and savings if I had to go into a nursing home. I was glad she asked. I was worried about it, but didn't know how to ask about what I could do. I didn't want the State to take my housel. She told me about MassHealth, a program that pays for the nursing home. She asked if my husband (he died three years ago) was a veteran. When I said that he served in World War II, she said that I could apply for Veterans Aid and Attendance benefits if I needed money to pay home health aides to help me stay in my home. She also said that I should contact the local Elder Services Agency if I need help to stay in my home. She also explained that if I did no planning, all of my savings and my house could be lost if I had to go into a nursing home. She told me about deeding my house to my children with a life estate for me and setting up a trust that could not be changed. It was a lot of information. Roberta could tell I was confused, so she suggested that we have a second meeting, with my children there. She said that my children would be involved in my estate planning, and they should understand the ways I could protect my house and savings. We had a second meeting with my children at the meeting. After the meeting, we decided that the Trust (an irrevocable trust) was the best way to protect my home and savings. Roberta sent documents to me and my children with a letter explaining everything. I went over the documents with my children. I didn't understand some of the legal language, but my children did, so I felt good about signing the documents. We had a third meeting. Roberta explained everything again before we signed, to make sure that we understood and then we signed the documents. I am so glad I called her. I didn't think that an attorney would be that friendly. She did her best to make sure that I (and my children) understood the documents that we were signing. I admit I don't understand everything, but my children do. And I trust Roberta. I feel like that I did the right things to protect my home and my savings. Roberta is very smart and knows a lot about programs for older clients. My children also like her. My son is going to do his estate plan with her. I like everything about going to her office. There are bowls of candy and I really like her dog, Sam.

I called Attorney Schreiber because my mother has alheimers. She was living with me and my family, and we were all stressed out. I have a part time job, a husband and three children. Someone had to watch my mother all of the time. We had to figure out how to keep her from wandering away from the house or turning on the stove and leaving an empty pot on it. I was exhausted by the time I met with Roberta. The first thing that she did was help us get a Personal Care Attendant through MassHealth, at a very low cost to us. That really helped. When my mother got worse, Roberta helped us find a good nurinsg home nearby and she applied for MassHealth to pay for my mother's care. Roberta made things so much easier for me. She did all of the paperwork to get my mother benefits. She is a very caring person. She understood what I was going through (she told me that her father had been in a nursing home before he died). She always returned my calls. I am so grateful that I found her.

I consulted Attorney Schreiber because I was appointed as Executor of my mother's estate. The first attorney that I hired was not responsive and did not tell me what to do after I was appointed. My sisters were asking what was happening, and I was not able to tell them. A friend told me about Attorney Schreiber and I made an appointment to meet with her. She and her assistant were friendly, and I liked them right away. I was offered cofffe, tea, or water and there was a plate of cookies. Attorney Schreiber was right on time. From the first meeting, she told me exactly what to do. She also gave me a checklist to consult after I left the office. She helped me find a good real estate broker and my mother's house was sold three months later. She told me how to close out my mother's bank accounts and she filled out the paperwork to sell the stock. She wrote to my sisters to tell them what was going on. She worked with my mother's accountant to make sure that the correct tax returns were filed. Everything was settled about eight months after I met with her. My sisters and I got our distributions and the estate was done. My sisters and I are very happy with Attorney Schreiber. She even returned telephone calls on the same day.

Attorney Manning helped me get my social security disability. They always answer the phone or someone will get right back to you and answer all of your questions. They always have time to talk and explain things to me. I am a nervous person and that helped a lot. I am 40 years old and I work 5 hours a week and have bipolar disorder. She gave me good advice on how to make my case better and I got the benefits.

Great attorney, people are really nice and always returned phone calls. They listen to me and offered very supportive advice. The attorney argued with the vocational expert at my hearing and didn't stand down. I think that is why I won my case. It took almost two years but it was worth it! Alison is truly an unique and an amazing lawyer. She was able to help me with someone who had taken a good amount of money from me and was non-compliant about their actions. I found myself in a tough situation when my landlord threatened to withhold my security deposit and demanded that I compensate him for two years of water and sewage bills amounting to just under 3k. I consulted Bryan and he reviewed my lease and sent a letter to the landlord. Bryan negotiated the return of my security deposit and I did not have to pay any money toward water and sewage. David Datz is by far the most knowledgeable, service oriented, thorough, and trustworthy lawyer that I have ever worked with. I have retained David's services in my professional life as a loan officer to do conveyancing for my company as well as referring my clients to him to represent them in the sale or purchase of their properties. Every client that I referred to his office was not only satisfied with his services, but actually thanked me for referring them to him. I have a breach of contract case and need consult an attorney. I got Jill's name from google search via lawyer rating website. She called me back the next day and we talked over the phone for longer than I can expected (especially from an attorney). She analysed my case vs the potential cost to me. She is very caring and thoughtful attorney, different from the general impression I got for "attorney's reputation". I highly recommend her and definitely use her in the future.

I had submitted an application as pro se inventor. The application involved complex concepts from mathematics, computer science and spreadsheets. I was initially concerned it would be very expensive and difficult to find an attorney with a background in the subject matter who would be able to help me so I decided to go it alone. After I received the first office action, I realized I needed professional help to deal with the USPTO. After some search I thought Dr. Hsuanyeh Chang’s scientific background and software experience would be a good fit so I decided to approach him for initial consultation and I must say I am glad I did. He was very responsive from the very beginning. Agreed to meet with me the next day on a weekend at a relaxed setting to go over what I have done. I was impressed by his intelligence, thorough understanding of the patent law, how the USPTO actually works, and most importantly his friendly character and professionalism. I decided to retain him to help me prosecute the patent and we have come a long way since. Dr. Chang has put necessary time and effort to understand the invention and drafted new eloquent and inclusive claims that have easily overcome prior art. After receiving second office action, I decided it was worth having in person interview for the opportunity to demo the invention and discuss remaining issues. I flew with Dr. Chang to USPTO offices in VA and we had a positive meeting with the examiner. It was a fun trip and it was certainly a pleasure to have Dr. Chang’s company. Dr. Chang responded to second office action diligently and hopefully we are nearing allowance. I have learned quite a bit from Dr. Chang during the process. He has also offered me valuable advice on other issues related to my startup company. If you are thinking dealing with the patent office is like dealing with a technical journal editor or referee you are wrong. It is a very different experience and requires different skill and know how. Selecting the right council from the beginning is critical for success. Dr. Chang is an inventor himself, an experienced attorney and a very nice and reasonable person to work with. I look forward to continue working with him for the long run and would highly recommend him.

Mr. Chang was very easy to work with. He was very knowledgeable with patent issues. I am a pro se inventor, however, I had certain claim rejections in my submitted patent. Mr. Chang was able to fix the error very quickly, and I was able to study the draft with still plenty of time to spare. Every email I sent to him was replied within the same day, sometimes in a matter of hours. The best part of rebutting my patent issues against USPTO, Mr. Chang was able to figure out certain key claims, which I have left out of the original claims. I thank Mr. Chang for his guidance and aid over my issues. Mr. Chang was also very knowledgeable with start up company issues. His encouragement over my invention is very much appreciated. I look forward to continue working with Mr. Chang in the future for other patent applications, etc. I will and have recommended his service to my business associates.

I worked with David over a few years on a custody case. I feel he was very thorough and kept my best interest and the overall best interest of my family in mind. My husband and I purchased a home in Gloucester while living in London and Ken handled all of the details for us along with our realtor. We have purchased many properties over the years with other lawyers and have not had the same experience that we had with Ken. Ken did an outstanding job throughly understanding our transaction and provided us council on the risk and opportunities with the transaction prior to finalizing. We felt that Ken took the time to understand our needs as clients and distance in our location made no difference to him. He was available for calls irrespective of time difference and never made us feel that is was an imposition. We would highly recommend Ken Chiarello. He is one lawyer that truly puts his clients first and treats every transaction with the importance that clients want.

Jonathan recently handled the closing for our home. The transaction was very smooth. He and his team were very professional, responded quickly to all of my questions, and ensured that I knew what was going on through the process. His knowledge of real estate showed distinctly when working with the solar company (the home has leased solar panels) - he was able to negotiate the removal of a lien on the property to ensure that our lender was given first lien priority. Our Annual Condo meeting was held Oct. 20, 2020. The BOT asked Marcus, Erico, Emmer, and Brooks (MEEB) to have a lawyer present because the BOT was being harassed by some unit owners disgruntled over a loan that was necessary in order to keep the building in a sound working condition. Dean Lennon met with the BOT prior so he would know what is happening. Dean Lennon was so professional, calm, and understanding. During the meeting he provided in the most professional and eloquent way, how condo associations work. I as a member of the BOT, was very thankful for his assistance and would not hesitate to have him at all Annual meetings going forward if this harassment continues.

As a unit owner and former member of the Board of Trustees of a condominium, I attended an annual meeting over which Dean Lennon of Marcus, Errico, Emmer & Brooks presided. Unfortunately, there were some disgruntled unit owners present who made themselves known. Dean Lennon was knowledgeable and professional, and he handled the mechanics of the meeting extremely well. His understanding of condominium law and procedures is excellent. It was a pleasure working with him, and I highly recommend him and his firm. Definitely 5 Star.

We first consulted with and then hired Dean to help us revive a defunct Homeowners Association, make collections, and place liens to rescue our building from a unit that had been a "zombie foreclosure" for years. With his help and his patient explanations of the law we were able to make critical repairs to the common property and get the ball rolling on getting the unit into the hands of a responsible new owner. Dean was responsive and positive and made the whole process a breeze. We loved working with him!

Elizabeth worked with us as the lead tax lawyer on one of our most complicated acquisitions. On the tax front, she was a powerhouse, and juggled three different time zones to set up an efficient cross-border acquisition and holding structure. From our first meeting she managed to explain the complexity of tax considerations in the US, Europe and Asia and how the rules and treaties interact in a way that made perfect sense to me, which has never happened with a tax lawyer before (no offense). She really listened to every question we asked, and her answers reflected her focus on our needs/confusions/concerns. Even better, she made sure the technical stuff was right (and it took some negotiation with seller), but never bogged us down with it. She always focused on what was most relevant to us and the financial impact of the tax rules (now and down the road). Turns out, good tax lawyers aren't "tax" specific - they know the economics of the deal better than anyone, or at least Elizabeth does. Bonus: she walked into the deal knowing all the market trends and terms. No reinventing any wheels here - five minutes into the first meeting and it was obvious she's on the cutting edge of what's happening in the market. She's the real deal: the smartest person in the room - and on top of that, she's so smart that she can explain it all in a way that makes sense to the rest of us.

My family is amid a particularly contentious battle over the family trust. We engaged with Maureen E. Lane to represent my 93-year-old mother to ensure her best interests were first and foremost.
