In 2003, I sought council for a terrible car crash. I was burned by another law firm. I felt their only motive was money, not justice. Then I met "Skip," aka Roger Ritchie Jr.. His dedication and desire to help me was sincere. He cared for me as a person, not as a dollar sign. I have never met anyone so dedicated to serving me. I could not believe that there was an honest and compassionate Lawyer left in the world until I met Skip. He is a devoted and brilliant man who stuck by me again and again, no matter how much "the cards were stacked against me." His mind and his heart are in the right place, which makes a difficult situation so much more bearable. Without him, I would not have a peace of mind, a fair settlement, nor an attorney I could truly count on to help me when I couldn't help myself. He is my Angel. Ted and his asssistant attorney Amanda P. Blair were amazing on a very challenging custody case. They consistently were approachable, wise and conscientious in their application of decisions for the case and we succeed greatly. Better than I could have imagined. We ended up moving and unfortunately have have had to go back to court and we have had other attorneys which has made me realize even more how great these two were and appreciated.

My divorce took almost 3 years and included such fun items as a retired National Guard officer who refused to work, sued for spousal support, refused to pay child support, had a significant problem with alcoholism, voluntarily unemployed himself to reduce child support payments, and who hired incompetent lawyers. Throughout it all, Mr. Butler was the epitome of calm, cool and collected. He held my hand when it was needed, was a shark in the court room, and got me what I needed in the divorce to ensure my children were taken care of and that I wasn’t taken advantage of. In a time of uncertainty and chaos that was my life after my ex-husband and I separated, Ted was the one stable person I had working on my side to make sure I didn't make any costly errors in judgment based on emotion instead of logic. His staff is top notch and worked together so that my costs were minimized…even when my ex-husband tried to do everything in his power to run up my legal bills. Ted has my undying gratitude for making a thoroughly awful time in my life bearable. If I could select a 6th star, Danielle is the one that deserves it. I have dealt with numerus attorneys in the past and all fall short of her. Danielle practiced the utmost professionalism and integrity in dealing with my cases. She is compassionate to her clients but also result driven to make sure they get the best outcome possible. Edward handled my reckless driving case and becuase of his knowledge of the Fairfax Court System he was able to get my ticket reduced out of the reckless category. He was always responsive to me and gave me homework to be prepared for my case. Without his good guidance, I feel I would have been convicted. He is a wonderful attorney as well as being a really good person. Just a class act. You can not go wrong hiring Edward for your case. You will be glad that you did hire him.

I have known Ed Cuccias for over 15 years; he is a great lawyer and good friend. I have had to call on him for his legal services and expertise on two occasions to assist my son after he was stopped and cited for Reckless Driving (Speed in excess of 25 mph over the posted speed limit). Ed met with us and explained the seriousness of the offense and possible consequences (6 Points off his license, misdemeanor conviction and possible jail time). While a parents’ threats of the consequences for poor driving habits sometimes go unheeded, Ed’s explanation of the seriousness of these charges put the fear of God into my son. His knowledge of the Virginia State and county traffic court system, Police, Sheriffs, Highway Patrol and prosecutors makes him the attorney to call if you have any legal issue associated with driving violations in Virginia. In one case the charges were not prosecuted and in the other they were reduced significantly. (Why 2 offenses you might ask; same road, same time of day and my son late for work yet another time.)

My husband and I hired Mr. Sweeny in December 2011 to handle his worker's comp case. We had been referred to him by another local attorney and saw that he had rave reviews online. Needless to say, even with all the good things we had already heard about him, he exceeded our already high expectations. Mr. Sweeny was extremely professional and courteous and always took the time to answer all our questions - even if we asked the same questions again and again. He always made time for our emails, calls and office visits. Most importantly though his thorough knowledge of the state's worker's comp system and his handling of my husband's case was the key to us avoiding years of medical debt. Mr. Sweeny was the reason - we firmly believe - that my husband won his case. He truly cares about his clients and seeking justice on their behalf and we were so fortunate to have found him. Justice does not always prevail but it always helps to have the best attorney in your corner. We are very lucky to say we had both. I strongly urge any Virginians pursuing a worker's comp claim to hire Mr. Sweeny. You wont regret you did!

When I/we went thru a previous Workmens Comp. injury for my husband with a local lawyer, we were severely disappointed and dismayed. My Husband will never re-cover and never received any compensation. After his bitter recollection, I put my foot down and said I was going to follow through. He was not a believer! After engaging and hiring Mr. Sweeney, life was restored. My husband has a new respect for lawyers and I just wish I hired him earlier. Mr. Sweeney kept me informed every step of the way, either by mail or phone and he setteled my case. I wish I had him earlier in my corner!!!

I had a serious health issues after a dramatic car wreck that happened to meat I-85 near High Point while I was moving back to Virginia. My friend suggested that I call Devon Munro. I had some doubts if it’s gonna work but decided to give it a chance. Never since that day have I had any regrets about taking that decision and hiring Devon Munro as my lawyer. Tom represented me in a serious criminal matter. This was my first time having any sort of run-in with the law so of course I was very anxious. Tom was compassionate and is a truly generous man. But do not for second believe this man is not a wise and aggressive defender. He will fight hard and work his tail off for you. It is as if the law is second nature to him. He is the expert you want on your side. Tom was able to get me a much more doable sentence. He is a straight shooter and will not waste your time. He also will keep you informed every step of the way.

I often encountered Mr. Salvado in court while I was a law-enforcement officer. He always conducted himself professionally and ethically. He was always very knowledgeable. This review comes from someone that arrested people that Mr. Salvado defended. I always felt that Mr. Salvado really did have the best interest of his clients in mind and fought for them. That is a lot more than can be said about other attorneys who just want to settle cases and move on. When what should have been an uncomplicated divorce turned into a three ringed circus, I was very fortunate to have Alan Bowden as my council. From the onset he was caring, kind, upfront, plain spoken yet obviously very intelligent. There was never a moment I doubted his strategy or advice. During the court hearings he was very well prepared, professional, articulate and to the point, unlike the paper shuffling, mumbling and redundant questions from the opposition. Alan kept it simple, no mud slinging and classy. On top of Alan's apparent love for the law, justice and giving his client 100% , he is also a very nice guy and a pleasure to be around, even in difficult circumstances. Ben is not just a lawyer, but he is a friend. He is very honest, even if it's not what you want to hear. He is respectful, and understands what's best for you, and your family. I cannot possibly have enough amazing things to say about Simon Marle and his entire staff. It’s not only about the lawyer, but the support and staff behind it for me. I called Simon’s office one night, over a year ago in desperation of where to turn and what to do. If you are not a lawyer, and you are involved in any kind of legal case, things can be very overwhelming and knowing what steps to take can be tricky. I called around 6pm and Simon Marle, himself answered the front desk phone. I was very thrown off, because typically lawyer/attorneys will not handle those kinds of matters. He gave me a free consultation about 20-25 minutes on my case. Was VERY straightforward, honest, and to the point. I put my trust in him, and I have NOT been disappointed in any way. His staff, Taylor, Samantha, and Lisa truly care about the clients and really spend their time being personal with you. I love that they address me by name and not by “client”. Samantha has bent over backwards to contact other parties for me and you can tell she put’s her time into her job. She is always on top of it, super respectful and goes above and beyond. Not one time, have I been brushed off or felt like I was being annoying or I have been to well over 5-7 court hearings with Simon. Each time we have gone, it has been a complete satisfactory outcome IF not more. Simon has always been a very caring and honest man. It is really hard to find people now that do not take advantage, or who really just do not spend time with your case. He personally will pull out a file and go line by line with you and explain and questions, details you may have missed or anything you do not understand. I think for me, the best is that it runs as a family unit, and when you are dealing with family courts/judicial issues, having the same mindset in your company, reflects when the clients are in person. He is affordable and I am so very grateful that I decided to go with him. I recommend him to ANY and all my friends and family who ask for recommendations. Simon has had experience in this for decades, and you can tell because his presence in court is respected very much not only by the judges and the staff but also by the other attorneys. Anyone I have ever asked in regards to him, has had nothing but positive things to say. He will not let you be stepped on in court, and he puts time and effort into every case he has. I can see that he is passionate about his career and what he does for people. Simon has been a major influence and change in my families life and we will forever be thankful for him and his entire staff.

I couldn't believe what had just happened to me, I was accused of a felony for shoplifting. No matter how I tried to explain the situation,I was ridiculed and mocked. I felt helpless and scared then I had a free consultation with Simon. Talking to him was easy and I knew I wanted him on my side. I talked to my husband about the consultation and we wasted NO time hiring him. A visit to his office to discuss my situation, he immediately found an error in the paperwork from the police. Simon was so on top of the case. He put me at ease. We went to court and he didn't let any the store security get away with anything. I'm not sure we were even in front of the judge 15 minutes when my case was dismissed !! I hope I never have to go to court again but if I should. You better believe I will have Simon next to me. There aren't words to discribe my gratitude .

What caught my attention about him was that he called me back and listened to me and seemed to quickly pick up what I was going through. C. Ewing always took time to explain in detail how things may turn out. Extremely fair and listens to everthing. Divorce is extremely difficult to say the least and Cindy makes that process less stressful a n d takes some of that burden off your shoulders. I hired Cindy to represent me in a family dispute, and she did a phenomenal job on my case. She was very methodical in her approach, and kept me informed every step of the way. Throughout 2013 and 2014, Rachael Hammer has done an excellent job with my divorce, support and custody case despite extremely contentious and difficult circumstances. The custody case started with the mother trying to limit visitation to twice per month which led to a hearing where Ms. Hammer successfully argued for joint custody. Ms. Hammer guided us through months of negotiations and litigation to a highly successful outcome. She has stayed with us in the aftermath, taking late night and weekend phone calls, through pick-up explosions and police involvement. I can not say the case has been pleasant, but Ms. Hammer and her legal assistant Katrina Smallwood, have remained a calm and steady presence no matter the circumstance. Matthew Liller represented me after I received a speeding ticket for reckless driving in Virginia. In December of 2016, on the way to my granddaughter’s Christmas recital at church, I was involved in an accident with a box truck that sideswiped me, spinning me around in the interstate at 60 mph, and caused me to hit the jersey wall, full side on, with my headlights pointing into on coming traffic. This resulted in me totaling my car, which was a 19th year wedding anniversary present to me from my husband. Besides the actual horror of the accident, which I am eternally grateful to God that I survived to be able to spend Christmas with my family; and the loss of my beloved car, that I had so enjoyed having; there was the added insult to injury (no pun intended) that the truck that hit me while trying to share the lane with me, never stopped but fled the scene leaving me injured, missing my entire family gathered at the church for my granddaughter’s pageant, and without a witness to identify the unmarked vehicle. But wait! There is more!!! To put the bow on top of this anonymous gift from the Grinch that almost stole all of my future Christmas’s; when all was said and done I was simultaneously unemployed, due to injuries affecting my ability to do my job, AND my insurance company of 30+ years denied my claim! I had injuries that I had to have physical therapy for, which lasted over 2 months, I had to have shots in my back, as well as injury that caused and/or aggravated some chronic conditions that I will have to deal with for the rest of my life. In what seemed like a comedy of errors things evolved into me needing to get a lawyer to make the insurance company do what they should have done in the first place. Mr Bradfield did just that. Since this experience had never happened to me before I was not knowledgeable as to how this would proceed, however, he very expertly explained everything and had a good sense of humor and tireless patience with me. This being the most traumatic thing that had ever happened to me made for some extensive conversations with me, which I am so thankful that he took the time to attend to. His assistant kept me informed of all appointments and progression of events. Their professionalism and courteous corespondence was refreshing in a very trying situation. All in all if I ever had to go through anything like this again, which I pray I never do, I would call Mr Bradfield in a heartbeat. Many thanks from myself and my family to Bradfield Injury Law Firm. They definitely “put the sword of justice on my side” when my insurance company was NOT on my side.
