I hired Alex to deal with allegations of copyright infringement on my business website from another law firm representing Reuters and the Canadian Press. Alex was excellent to work with. After gathering the facts from me and doing some legal research, he crafted a legal defense and sent letters/emails to the other law firm and organization. He was able to settle the disputes for a sum considerably lower than I would have had I gone about this on my own. Alex's fee also included making sure that the release documents were appropriate and the matters were closed with the other law firm once I remitted payment. If you are in a similar situation regarding copyright infringement, I highly recommend contacting Alex. Based on this experience, I will be using Alex for all of my business needs such as reviewing contracts, etc.

Brad helped me again! I must tell you about a great traffic attorney in Hopewell, VA and Sussex, VA. This is so embarrassing, but I will tell you anyway! This is the 3rd Ticket Brad Butterworth has been hired as my attorney. Two times in Hopewell on 95, of course. And the 3rd time, in Sussex on 95, of course. Brad does a great job explaining my wrong doings to the courts. I have never been to court. I had lawyers that were in practice for 30 years but they still did not approach the prosecution like she did and she has been in practice maybe 5 This translates every time to a better outcome for the defendant. The corrupt state of Virginia commonwealth bull was trying to put me away for a dui for a freaking drug that was prescribed to me and I had the right to take. I just had a arbitration for a accident and they brought up this refusal but it was my refusal which helped jessica beat this dui. They were actually telling me to be prepared to do some time. Dude is Virginia so corrupt. Sorry I’m from Maryland and the corruption though bad not comparable to Fairfax county corruption Anyways she saved the day Even the doctor at the hospital was trying to help the cop more then treatment for the accident. They settle for 42 million out of court because of that

Jessica Richardson not only kept me out of jail but she helped my mental health a lot the last year having to have this on my mind while things were pending. I had accidents surgeries my father died I almost died twice it’s been a long year on top of that I’ve had this stress and pressure from this case I did not need which almost sent me over the edge. I'm sorry to say that, even though I was married in the Catholic Church, my wife divorced me in March of this year, 2019. It was traumatic of course but Sharon Lieblich not only did a great job as a lawyer, but as a human being. I truly grew to love her. She was recommended by my family's lawyer in NYC, and though she was more expensive than other lawyers in Virginia, she probably saved me half a million bucks. You can't beat Harvard lawyers!

Sharon is an extremely experienced attorney with an excellent background for over decades. Using an attorney is extremely expensive and I've been happy with the ways she's tried to help cut the bill without giving up any rights. I just wish my STBX's attorney had the same approach.

We got referred to Scott through the Virginia bar's referral service, as we needed someone for a landlord tenant case. Prior to our consultation phone call, he sent us a wealth of information from what he had read from our overview of the case. It was all super helpful and I appreciated how much time he put into that message. During the whole time we retained him, it was clear how experienced and knowledgable he was. He was very understanding of our situation and is very to the point. No nonsense. Definitely would recommend doing a consultation with him to see if he can help with your case!

Exactly as the title says. David was able to bring down a 103MPH in a 65 down to a $300 fine with a infraction only in the state of Virginia. I was nervous for jail time especially considering 103 is jail time; but nope. Thank you to David and his team!

The case was one where a family trust was questionably liquidated by the trustees to the exclusion of some of the beneficiaries. Earlier, another attorney had advised us that the harm to trust's excluded beneficiaries was not actionable and would probably result in the beneficiary plaintiffs being disinherited. Legal research by Ms Zizzo, Rack & Olansen's litigation attorney, resulted in a lawsuit that eliminated the risk of disinheritance and the case was settled out of court with the wronged beneficiaries receiving six figure settlements.

After consulting several attorneys, Mr. Routhier was outstanding right from the start. He dug into the details of my case and it was dismissed on a technicality! Being from out of state others told me I would have to return to court and enter a program or go to jail and face a license suspension. All very cookie cutter outcome at much higher rates compared to the excellent service I received from Mr. Routhier. I contacted him online and someone from his office called and set up a call for initial consultation.I hired him after initial consultation and he took individual interest in getting the best outcome on the case. He was successful in getting a misdemeanor speeding ticket pled down to an infraction. he was very helpful throughout the case and was very straightforward on the condition of the case and what outcome I could expect. In the end, after reviewing the results of similar cases in the area, I believe he was able to get me the best deal that was possible and I would strongly recommend him.

I received a reckless driving ticket in the state of VA, as an out of state driver, so attending the court date was going to be challenging since I would have to miss work, get a hotel, drive very far, etc. I hired Robin Desrosiers after receiving numerous letters in the mail regarding hiring an attorney. After speaking with many lawyers, all who tried to get insane amounts of money from me, I found Ms. Desrosier, who was fair, honest, and blunt about my case. She stated all the possible outcomes, explained what the judge typically settles these cases for, and put me at ease that I was not going to receive a class I misdemeanor. Through all our contact she was VERY prompt with responding and truly was committed to my case. She is extremely professional and handles all of her clients herself which is also very satisfying. Ultimately, Ms. Desrosier was able to plead my innocence and get my cased dismissed. She was fabulous and I would recommend her to anyone!

I am honored to be the first one to write a review on Mrs. Desrosier. My father is a truck driver from Canada passing thru Virginia when he got a criminal traffic charge. Both my parents were worried because they didn't know what to do. They got a letter from Mrs Desrosier offering her services to represent my father, at first they were a little apprehensive because they are not from that area and no way to know if Mrs Desrosier was good and her rate was mere pennies compared to the other lawyers from Virginia. She was prompt at replying to emails and returning phone calls so we felt confident at retaining her as our legal council. The outcome could not have been better than we expected it was brought down from a criminal charge to a simple traffic violation without Mrs Desrosier my father would have lost his licence not to mention the possibility of jail time. I myself have dealt with lawyers in the past and she is by far one of the best I have encountered. My parents don't speak english with heavy accents so already it can be hard to understand them however Mrs Desrosier was very patient with them and took all the time they needed to ask and answer their questions. If you are looking for someone who is prompt professional and compassionate about their work then she is the right person for your legal needs and her rate is unbeatable. We have used Sarah for wills and other personal documents as well as rental leases. Each time she has been great to work with. She takes the time to understand her clients and what their concerns and priorities are. She goes over various options and explains pros and cons of each. She does a great job in explaining complicated legal documents in a way that anybody can understand. I started my divorce process with a lawyer who did not litigate, first of all because I felt that lawyer was highly qualified, but also because I believed that it would be best to try to mediate the settlement for the benefit of myself, my now ex, and for our three children. Unfortunately, and after nearly two years of trying, it became clear that my wife preferred the scorched earth approach and that I needed to hire a litigator. My lawyer recommended that I turn to Sarah Kuhns for the help I needed to bring things to closure. Sarah quickly understood the dynamics of my case and brought to it her knowledge of negotiating under the threat of litigation. It was a much different approach than I had been trying to date, but Sarah had a detailed understanding of the litigation process as well as a great insight as to how decisions would be made if the case went to court. She provided me with excellent advice on when to accept a part of the other side’s offer, when to reject it, and when to press for my position. She offered advice and counsel and allowed me to make the decisions based on her input. Her understanding of some of the more complex aspects of my case were infinitely helpful to me, and when there was an issue where she had an industry contact to consult, she consulted them on my behalf. As painful as the process was given my ex-wife’s approach, we were able to come to an agreement at the eleventh hour and arrive at a settlement before facing the judge. I was involved in a rear end accident where someone hit me. Once her insurance company wanted me to settle my medical claims I wanted advice from an attorney. I called Chip and he was happy to help. He worked hard for almost a year and a half to get the best possible settlement. He was kind and caring. He spent much time gathering medical information, consulting with doctors and negotiating with insurance companies. I was very pleased and satisfied with the outcome of my case. Mr. Casola is an excellent attorney. I found him to be very thorough and professional. After reviewing my case, Chip identified key issues that I myself hadn't picked up on. After filing suit an unacceptable offer came in from the other side. Chip proceeded to counter and negotiate a very favorable settlement. All of this happened in a very short time frame and allowed us to skip the court process of which I wasn't looking forward to, even though I had a strong case. I have know Brien Roche since 1992. I worked for his firm as a legal secretary at that time. I went on to work for other lawyers and in other fields as well. Attorney Hankins is a man of standards and honesty. He is handling a personal injury case for my daughter. He has given her the upmost respect and has guided her in the right direction during this process. He has also handle another case for us and was very successful at getting the results we needed. Mr. Hankins has help myself with neurmous cases, all have turned out in my favor with cases being completely dropped or a minimal un-surpervised probation for a 1 year period to then after completion of probation the charges be dropped. These cases ranged from simple misdemeanors to serious charges which could have led myself to be labeled as a felon; although Tim's wittiness save myself from facing the ramifications of the courts. I highly recommend him and I still remember his number by heart for that un-foreseen instance I get another charge. He is a doer and doesn't poke around the subject and can make an officer even doubt himself/herself of what actually happened at the time of arrest. For example, I was 20 years old, 2 months away from being 21, and I caught an underage possession of alcohol charge while fishing, I blantely told the marine police officer I purchased the beer since he stated if no one owned up to it myself as well as my friends would all get a charge, in court the officer showed pictures of the beer in the rear of my truck bed and told the judge I had admitted to purchasing the beer, Mr. Hankins then went on to perceive the marine police officer to be a total num-nuts and cross-examine him in a way that made plenty of loopholes in the officers story. Then the judge ruled the case be dismissed and to the officer who wrote the citation as well as all of the other officers in the court at the moment were stunned at the verdict since I had admitted to purchasing the alcohol and it was in my possession.

When all hope was lost I stumbled upon Mrs. Crawford through a google search. I had no idea of the firm or her excellence specifically. I had, up to this point, my other sought after representation fail me miserably and had been misguided and unruly dealt with by the Chesapeake Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on multiple occasions. I had literally given up hope in that I would never get to be apart of my sons life the way that I wanted to be. With having already spent a great deal of time and money in the matter I was just drained physically, mentally, and financially. For any father who has dealt with our broken system, its supposed ultimate 'judges of character,' and their puppets, you will know that it is not an easy road to travel. With the encouragement of a few and with nothing to lose I went for it one last time. The day I sat down with her in the quiet and rather small but warming confines of her office I explained and expressed to her in probably a quite disgruntled way, as perceived by Mrs. Crawford, my situation. All my insecurities changed within the 30 minutes I was there, of course I was not entirely sold yet but that was just the beginning. Skipping forward to the best part; Now my relationship with my little boy is stronger than ever and so is he, academically, mentally, physically, and socially. I am not saying that Mrs. Crawford can work miracles, you have to go to her with a good foundation in yourself and the reasons for your requests but she definitely takes care of it from there. After all was said and done I felt that I owed her so much more than money.

Attorney Shumaker is not only highly knowledgable and compassionate, but his years of experience leading employment law from the "inside" with a large corporation shows. His legal insight and strategy definitely helped me in settling my wrongful termination/hostile work environment case when other attorneys wanted to approach it from a different direction. His efforts also prevented my previous employer from enforcing a non-compete clause; which was very important for someone in the medical profession. I was incarcerated because of a domestic dispute in Loudoun County. I've had many lawyers represent me in previous matters and never have I felt more confident in my legal representation than I did with Mr. Seck. As soon as he took my case, he came and visited me at the jail the next day. He came again the following day to make sure he could collect as much information about my case from me as he could. He was very responsive and strove hard to keep the line of communication open, which is difficult for a person who is incarcerated. If he wasn't in direct communication with me he was in constant contact with my family members and worked with me through them. When my court date came he was there early to discuss possible senarios and outcomes and asked me how I would like to approach the situation. I was released that day and everything was adjudicated beyond my expectations and now this criminal matter is behind me. I would highly recommend Mr. Seck to anyone facing criminal or civil cases.

I sought out Mr. Seck after a demoralizing visit to the family court where I learned my out of state court order could not be enforced in Virginia without an overwhelming stack of paperwork that I did not understand and legal expertise I did not have. I found Mr. Seck after doing an internet search. I lucked out. Mr. Seck was patient as he walked me through the process. Not only did he help secure a stable future for my children, but did so in a timely manner while minimizing the expenses. My case resolved in less than six months. He managed to convince my ex-husband to come to the table and negotiate, something I haven’t been able to do in eight years, resulting in an agreement instead of an order. The increase in child support was certainly welcome. My former husband agreeing to pay the expenses he owed was a big relief. The best part was the comfort for our teenagers knowing that their Dad agreed to the changes and did not have to be ordered by the court to support them. Ideally, I would not have to resort to the legal system to get the support needed to care for our children. Having Michael Seck on your side makes that necessity the next best thing to an agreeable ex-husband.

While the insurance company said we didn't need a lawyer, I knew that I had to have someone to help us. Ted was this someone. It took over 2 years, but thankfully it ended. I had a family member that was charged w/ DUI, hit and run, and Mike Robusto was our first and only call. He was incredibly knowledgeable, honest, straight forward, and kept us informed throughout the process. He explained how everything would work and what the possible outcomes could be. He took the time to really understand the entire situation which allowed him to make a case that yielded the best result possible. We had never dealt with anything like this in the past so there was a lot of anxiety from not knowing what the outcome would be. The result was so much better than we could have hoped for. I don't know how he managed to get the result he did, but Mike was such a blessing & we were thrilled to have him in our corner! My husband was charged with a DUI, and Hit and Run. The case was potentially quite complicated and we had never needed a lawyer before so, not only was I nervous about the legal process, it was beyond unnerving to know that my husband's fate hinged on the skill of whomever I hired. I had very little time to search for the "perfect" attorney, but after interviewing quite a number of them, I ultimately hired Mr. Robusto to handle the a case. Mr. Robusto very quickly eased our fears and handled the case in a very professional and ethical manner and I feel that we received the best possible outcome; from start to finish, I never once questioned my decision to hire him. He was very personable and very patient with my legal questions concerning the case, yet he was also very straightforward, which was greatly appreciated! Hopefully this is the last time we will ever need a criminal attorney, but we will certainly be hiring Mr. Robusto again for any legal issues going forward!

John was great. I am from out-of-state and he handled everything for me. The thing I liked best about John was that he gave me a very realistic expectation as to what the outcome would likely be given my infraction. No "pie in the sky" promises. He was able to fulfil his promise and although I was not overjoyed, I was ok with the disposition of my case. Apparently going 10 MPH over the speed limit is considered reckelss and a criminal offense in Rockbridge County and could cost you up to $2500!!!. Who knew! John was able to get my "reckless" reduced to a a regular "speeding" and in Virginia, that's huge. I paid $200 in fines and court costs which I was ok with. No points would have been great, but I know he did the best he could given the climate regarding traffic infrations in Rockbridge County. Also, John's fees were reasonable. I had talked to several other attorneys who quoted me as much as 3x's what John charged and I would be hard pressed to believe they could have gotten a better outcome.

I had a dispute with my tenant and was having a hard time dealing with their ridiculous claims, constant threats and refusal to leave the property on lease expiration. Ben handled the case from start to finish smoothly, always being professional, attentive and responsive. I was amazed how quickly he picked up on the case details and was very reassuring in my first conversation with him. He was polite, firm and very objective/calm with the tenants. I had been convinced by another attorney that I needed to file a Chapter 13 bankruptcy. I went through with it, but then another friend of mine and I were talking and it got me wondering if I should have done a Chapter 7 and not been stuck with the payments for a Chapter 13. My friend gave me Mr. Davis' number so I went to talk to him. It turned out that there was no good reason for me to do a Chapter 13 since I rent my home. Mr. Davis explained that I didn't need to lose my car or anything by filing Chapter 7, and it was a much faster process than the 13. He said that a discharge is a discharge, and there's no big advantage to paying a part of your debt through a Chapter 13 if you don't have anything to lose in a Chapter 7. So we converted my case from a 13 to a 7 and I'm very glad that I went to see him because getting a discharge in 4 months instead of in 5 years was a good change for me. I've been able to start rebuilding my credit a lot faster than I thought, too. I felt like he was really listening to what I needed and making sure I understood everything about my case. I hope I never have to file bankruptcy again, but if I did I'd go back to him.

Mr. Davis filed bankruptcy Chapter 7 for me and my wife. He was real patient and answered all of our questions. We thought we were going to need a Chapter 13 bankruptcy but Mr. Davis told us we didn't have to do that to be able to keep our home, so we were glad he was honest about it. Everything went just the way he said it would, so that made us happy. His secretary can answer most any question you have after filing and is real helpful, too. With just Mr. Davis and his assistant they can't always return your phone call right away and he's in court or with other clients a lot, but if you don't mind waiting for him to get back to you he's a real good lawyer. I recommend him.

Mr. Davis handled our Chapter 7 filing. He's really young, but he's a good lawyer. He and his secretary are really friendly and welcoming. We got our discharge without any issues at all. Sometimes it takes a day before he returns a call, but that's probably because there's only the two of them and they get really busy. His price was also better than a lot of other places I called. I definitely recommend him. They seemed to really care about helping us.

In December of 2015, I was accused of four felonies and a misdemeanor in Lorton, Va. These charges, if convicted, carried a mandatory sentence of 48 years. I went for a trial and Ms Wright said she would fight for me and she did. I was handed a malicious indictment by a prosecutor who wanted a conviction by any means necessary (I was a retired U.S. Army veteran in deep trouble). I knew I had a good lawyer at the opening statement, she came in strong and confident, the prosecution was out matched from the start of the proceedings. During the trial process, Ms Wright highlighted the discrepancies in the allegations made against me with pinpoint accuracy. Her cross examination of the witnesses dismantled the credibility of my accusers and during her closing arguments she tore apart the accusations, the police, as well as the state, with no fear. As a result of a three day trial, I was found - NOT GUILTY- GOD BLESS YOU MS WRIGHT AND THE SIMMS FIRM

I was fortunate to have connected with Ms Melanie Wright for my case. I had less hopes of getting out of this complicated case due to its extensiveness. Attorney Caldwell is an excellent attorney and I would highly recommend her. I hired her for victim representation during an assault case and I was extremely nervous about the proceedings and the possibility of testifying. Attorney Caldwell had several meetings with me to make sure I felt prepared, met with me early before the court case and stayed with me during the whole trial explaining every step of the case to make sure I understood. While I'm sure this wasn't her most challenging case, she gave me her full attention throughout the procedure, which ended in our favor. Attorney Caldwell is thorough, patient and an excellent attorney.
