I felt compelled to write this review! I want anyone in the state of California looking for an injury lawyer to be so BLESSED to have this firm stand behind them! I urge you to stop looking. You're going to waste your time anywhere else. Sure, everybody says that in reviews when they are happy with a company. I'm not just happy. I feel like I had my own family fighting for me and they wanted my suffering to stop. Most firms and lawyers are a bunch of hot air and lots of ego!! Let's face it. But when you have a lawyer go above and beyond to make you feel cared about and like you are family, then you want only the same for others. Mr. Sherwin Arzani was more than my lawyer, he was on my side and wasn't settling no matter what. I never felt rushed and I could tell he genuinely cared about me from his hard work, phone calls and keeping me completely informed of everything going on.
I was in a very severe accident. A man on his phone, driving towards a backed up off ramp, did not stop and was going 60+ mph blindly hit me from behind without breaks!! I was at a complete standstill. He did not care to help me and took off from the scene. I tried having friends and family talk to the insurance company and saw extremely quickly that I needed an attorney. They wouldn't give me information like what my benefits were. So I looked up Citywide Law and that was the start of my road to recovery.
From the day I called, I felt nothing but compassion and understanding from the entire office. I had to wait 2 days to call them as the whiplash locked my jaw shut!! They took the frustration and headache of dealing with the insurance company off my hands that day, right then and there. I knew without a shadow of a doubt they could be trusted to take this on for me. Their kindness, as well as, professionalism are OUTSTANDING!!
I had to immediately begin seeing doctors. They made all my appointments. I was thoroughly taken care of by their professionals. As I was not getting better with the treatments, I was sent out for further testing. We found I have lifelong permanent injuries. Mr. Arzani called me to discuss what to do and he was clear, thorough, and professional. From the news of my injuries I was very saddened that I will have this for the rest of my life. We were on the phone and he listened to me express my pain. Not just physical pain but the suffering that has come from this man stealing my life from me.....I can handle pain. I can handle suffering, but when you can't play with your kids anymore like you could before you feel a huge sense of loss and he was very supportive. Yes!!!! I said Mr. Arzani was supportive and there for me like a good friend would be.
I urge and implore you to give yourself the best odds at winning your settlement with this firm. I know you will not be unhappy with the results.....
Mr. Arzani fought and won my maximum benefits. If it wasn't for his persistence, I don't think my case would have settled in a year for what I deserved.

I was the victim of a real estate fraud, and Mr. Arzani's firm was able to reverse the fraudulent transaction and get my name back on title. The best part was that I even got some of my legal fees back from the other side when we settled the case.

Karl helped me out for around a year. Is Karl going to hold your hand probably not (it seems that some people are looking for that sort of attorney) but is he going to do everything he can for you, Yes. Meaning is Karl going to call you everyday and have a chat with you, No. Is he going to make sure you know all the important stuff that is going on, Yes. Karl and his team are top notch. If you have a case he will tell you the pros and cons. He won't be able to promise you are going to walk away with x, y, z. But he will tell you this is possible and this isn't. Would I recommend him and his team, I guess the best way to put it is recommend. If you have the privilege of working with Karl, sit back let him do his thing he is a master. Thank you Karl

Who is Karl Gerber? What is the Employment Lawyers Group? I can tell you a little of what my experience is/was.
It all started almost 6 years ago when I was "fired" for taking Maternity leave. I will never forget the words from my previous employer "you're fired!". Or maybe I will. Not sure how I found the team but I did. The office staff is wonderful, very respectful.
Karl & Eric worked on my case for 6 years. I wasn't sure if I was able to trust attorneys because of the old saying "don't trust them, they sell out!" WRONG!!! I must say they're very honest, trustworthy, humble and most important they care about YOU!
When we went to trial Karl (aka The BEAST!) Gerber puts on a show. Not only does he attack, he makes sure the JOB is well done. Points the facts out clearly and makes the defendants witnesses cry. Feels pretty awesome to witness that.
We won my first trail, but they (previous employer) wasn’t happy so they appealed. My previous employer was scared to face him again on my 2nd trial. Our trial was going to be sometime this year but I am assuming they (employer) didn't want to face the BEAST. We did end up settling for a what I think was a reasonable amount. The BEAST was able to get me 4 times my annual salary. Karl wasn't happy because he knew he would nail it once again in trial. But I was able to walk-off satisfied.

He has done a lot of labor cases and knew things about the industry I am in because he represented other clients. The office has a lot of people who can do things on the case. One day Karl Gerber had four of his people doing things for my case at once while he was taking a deposition of the person who made the decision to fire me. Ultimately, the case was won for a confidential sum which was more than I would have earned at the job in 10 years. I ended up finding a better job after the case ended so it was sort of a windfall.

Finally an honest Attorney who goes out of his way to help you.
He represented me on a couple of cases ,
With out even knowing me He filed my case the very next day even though i had not yet paid him and told him I could not pay him for a couple weeks .
Those weeks turned into months but he still kept plugging away and getting it done (Yes i paid Him )and he also won the Case
I have no trust in attorneys for the most part they are just Thief's with suits .
Jeff is as Honest as can be you will never meet an attorney or human being like him in your lifetime
I like the fact that if he is not familiar with a certain procedure he tells you instead of bullshitting to get your Money .

taking a moment to say what an awesome attorney Erik is although it's been a couple years since he did work for me. He's on my mind as I just referred a colleague to him for a personal injury matter. I have referred more people to him than I can count, in a variety of areas, but particularly personal injury and landlord tenant. the first thing I will say is that he genuinely seemed to care about my situation (a nightmare of a landlord tenant situation - me the tenant without much power). I felt like he wanted to get my problem solved and compensate me for my economic loss and stress along the way and that's exactly what he did. I worked with John on a family trusts case. It was an extremely stressful experience. I cannot even imagine not having John representing me in this matter. He handled the case with upmost diligence, care and concern. I truly felt he had my best interest at hand.

I was in a traumatizing and debilitating traffic collision. I found Nicole and company through a friend of a friend. I had multiple injuries that were preventing me from living my life and maintaining my responsibilities. My injuries were more than intimidating, and my situation was extremely overwhelming and confusing. Nicole gave me peace of mind through effective communication and always making herself available when I would freak out about my situation. Her assertive and reassuring demeanor made me feel confident that everything was going to work out. I don't know how I would have survived this without Nicole and her associates. They made the entire process feel almost effortless, and by "process," I mean three years of medical appointments, physical therapy, surgery, more therapy, etc. Despite having to endure all of that, I had conviction that everything would be okay, even when I was on bed rest and could barely walk. I can't adequately express how positive my experience has been with Nicole and her associates.
We're almost done with the entire process, and I am very satisfied with the outcome. Nicole delivered! My injuries were treated by amazing physicians, and I'm anticipating a full recovery! All of my medical bills are paid, and I have more than enough to compensate for my expenses incurred because of the traffic collision. The best part of it all is Nicole didn't make me feel like a client or paycheck. She expressed genuine concern every step of the way and explained every possible avenue and their respective possible outcomes. She made me feel like a priority, and didn't push me to do anything. I am more than impressed with the exceptional quality of care I received through the entire process.

I was in an accident a few years back and got badly injured. Unfortunately, I made the silly decision of handling my claim with the insurance company myself at first. After the insurance company strung me along for months though, I decided to hire a lawyer and I asked a friend if he knew anybody good. He recommended Torsten and Nicole, who had helped my friend out in the past.
When I called Torsten and Nicole, I wasn't sure what I'd be getting into. I'd never had a lawyer before, but they talked to me about my case on the phone and then we met in person and I felt at ease. They never pushed me to do anything and were happy to meet with me to discuss my case whether I hired them or not. Of course, I ended up retaining them, and I couldn't be happier.
Nicole and Torsten worked so hard for me on my case and ended up filing a lawsuit and battling with the insurance company for about a year in court. Along the way, the insurance company kept tossing BS offers at us and I was getting really frustrated with the entire process. It seemed that the insurance company would never pay me what I deserved.
But Torsten and Nicole kept assuring me that the insurance company would come up with more money and that this was just the game they always played with people's lives. It turns out, they were right. After pushing and pushing through the lawsuit, the insurance company finally gave in and offered me a great settlement a few weeks before trial just as Torsten and Nicole predicted.
Obviously, I'm happy that I got the money I deserved. But I was even happier with who got me the money. Torsten and Nicole were not just my lawyers. They were my friends. They took the time to listen to me and understand my problems and they stood up for me until the end. There were ups and downs for me emotionally throughout the process, and if it weren't for them, I'd probably have broken down completely and taken one of the insurance company's BS offers. In the end, I know I got what I deserved because of Nicole and Torsten. They are wonderful people and made me feel confident that I had great attorneys in my corner.

I hired Attorney Blacknell to represent a family member who was charged with a very serious crime. Mr. Blacknell is a very patient and thoughtful listener. One should not be deceived by his mild manner. He is tenacious, discerning and penetrating getting to the heart of matters. His focus was on obtaining the best outcome for my family member. (One would expect that all attorneys should conduct themselves in such a fashion--but that is not always the case. We learned that from experience.) He was the second attorney we hired to defend this family member. We opted to release the first one. During the proceedings he did not make empty promises or pretty speeches. Nor did he make promises that he knew he couldn't fulfill. He was forthright with us. He presented himself well before the court and the dividends of that is that the court showed him respect. The verdict and sentencing was one we accepted and could live with.

I got a DUI back in 2014. Without getting into the details, my DUI case is not the typical DUI case and the DA was playing "hardball." Annie spent over a year fighting for me, filed motions to suppress evidence and was ready to take my case to trial. She refused to take just some plea deal. Annie was always on top of my case and kept me informed and updated. I don't know any attorney that would have put in as much time and effort as Annie did. In 2008, my brother was placed in INS detention and removal proceedings at Eloy Arizona for a 1986 conviction. The INS claimed that his felony conviction was an aggravated felony and that he was no longer eligibile to maintain his lawful permanent residency status. I received a DUI. I was going home and the cop pulled me over for swerving into the other lane. Eran got the case dismissed before it went to trial on a motion to suppress the stop.
