Stephen Waldman was highly recommended by a close family friend, after my son had received a serious injury to his knee following an auto accident when a car came through a red light and totaled our car. I was concerned that after his initial medical treatment my son's knee was still not 100% healed, Stephen advised us to see an orthopedic specialist to get a second opinion and the specialist indicated that a further course of treatment was required.
During the process of presenting a claim to the insurance company, which accepted liability, Stephen Waldman was very professional and always kept us informed as to what was happening with our claim. He has great communication skills and it was always a pleasure to talk to him or answer the odd email.
My son has now fully recovered from his injury. The initial settlement offered by the insurance company admitting liability was declined as the injury was more serious than originally anticipated. An improved settlement offer was then accepted and my son will now have some money that he can use for college etc. after his 18th. birthday.
I am very happy with what Stephen has done for my son, without him my son would have received nothing. I highly recommend Stephen Waldman to anyone requiring the services of an excellent lawyer.

Jane helped me with my two divorces. While I was going through one of the most difficult seasons of my life, Jane made me feel seen and heard. Traci is professional. She stood by me and worked with an opponent who did not play by the rules. My ex lied and hid our assets and started cashing out our retirement almost before I even hired Traci. My daughter lives with me who is handicapped and I with serious health issues,’he tried to leave us with almost nothing!! Believe me he quit his job and threatened to move to Mexico. Year or so later my daughter and I are safe. He had to pay me 2 years in advance alimony for him to get a job. I may need to hire Traci again if he has or finds another lame excuse to his fiduciary responsibilities. Was with my ex for almost 40 years. I am an Army Combat Vet who suffers from multiple traumas and drug addiction. I got myself in a huge jam. Multiple bail on bail crimes. 5 felony cases all over San Diego to Orange County to be exact. 2011 I was convicted of a felony which I was put in deportation proceedings. My family hired Nanya to assist us in this difficult time with everyone She provided the best legal advise for me and was in constant communication with my criminal attorney so I can vacate my charge for "ineffective assistance of counsel" so that I could go back to criminal court and not be deported. She assisted me with declarations, motions and appeals for the immigration courts. She did an awesome job, she communicated with my family with everything that was going on, and she fought for me all the way through. Well everyone my criminal charge was vacated and I did not get deported. Thanks to Nanya and her 100% devotion to my case. I am reunited my family, my children and friends. Joel was so helpful in my husbands case. We went to Joel not knowing anything about Residency, and when we came out of our first consultation with him, we felt so much better about what was to come. He answered all of our questions, and prepared us for either a good or a bad outcome. If we had any questions, he would respond within 24 hours, even on the weekend sometimes!! It was great and he is very personable, making jokes (at appropriate times). In the end, my husband was granted the Temporary Residency, and we have one more year before we can apply for permanent residence for him. We are still happily married, celebrating our 2 year anniversary this year (4 years total). I would highly recommend Joel to anyone looking for help in Immigration Law. As far as prices go, he was very reasonably priced.

If you are looking for an immigration lawyer please don't go anywhere else!!! Honestly. Stop looking, you found him. I don't know how long Joel has been in practice but it seems like maybe from the beginning of time? He knows everything. If Gandolf was an immigration lawyer.. Joel would be Gandolf.
All jokes aside, I researched many lawyers and made many contact attempts, had a few consultations, and I was always left disappointed and not feeling confident in paying for their laughable services. From my first conversation with Joel I knew he was different, and was on top of things. He made what can be an extremely stressful experience seem easy. Honestly, EASY. He's organized, RELIABLE, and he knows immigration. My husband is now a permanent resident thanks to Joel and his expertise.
I wish I could personally speak to anyone considering using him, so I could tell you what he did for my husband and I. I want to shout it from the rooftops. He is the best in the business and has never lost a case.
