Damien was originally my Father in Laws Attorney. He helped him amend his Will about 10 years ago.
My Father in Law lived in La Mesa, California, though originally from Southern California, my wife and I relocated to Alexandria, Virginia.
My Father in Law died last December,
He had seen at least one attorney, after Damien. His will had been amended in the last few years, at the behest of his caregiver.
He died at 99 leaving his entire estate to his caregiver.
We were struggling to keep our own home and Business. How we would find the money and time to fight this woman we couldn't even begin to imagine. Feeling all but hopeless we reached out to Damien; and he reached back!
How he extricated my Father in Law's property from the clutches of this woman was masterful.
He provided the best counsel, always clearly articulating what was necessary within the moment as to clearly assess and prioritize. We were able to expediently accomplish our goal wasting not time, steps, or money!

Damien Snow has a very quick grasp of facts; you don't have to explain a lot. We got a lot accomplished at every meeting. He has a good staff too. I liked his approach that the client can do a lot of the simple things by himself with a little guidance. Damien will take over when you get to the more complicated stuff, but he doesn't insist on doing every little thing because only an attorney can do it right. He is very generous with his time on the telephone and very fair in his billing practice. My highest compliment is that he shows empathy for clients. He puts the legal problem in perspective and encourages the client to get back to enjoying life. That's icing on the cake.

I used this firm on the peak of the pandemic March 2020 to be exact. For my case of my previous job I let them know what happened and were really interested. Must I say I went through 8 different firms and no one seemed like they really cared to follow up but this firm THIS FIRM HERE!!!! went out there way Dorota was the lawyer that helped me through it all. She assure me that I get paid everything that was owed to me from the company. It was an 8 month process really patient about it all. The firm brought up a lot of dirt that I myself never knew so Dorota did everything in her power Brian as well they both assure me if I don’t get paid they won’t either but they made it happen. Dan Carlson worked hard to put together our recently concluded FINRA arbitration claim against a securities brokerage even though it was for a relatively small amount. I was impressed by his willingness to spend time explaining what we were doing and why. I never felt rushed or made to feel stupid for asking factual or procedural questions. He was responsive and pleasant, with a good perspective about the task. I can't think of how he could have been better to work with, and I've consistently worked with lawyers for the last 35 years. Mr. Brody was my third work/comp attorney. I don't recall who recommended him to me, but I'm sure glad they did. The pain of my injury was severe for many years and long term pain leads to a whole cascade of other medical issues. The first two attorneys were essentially worthless, letting me flounder for years, never following up on things, not returning my calls, not letting me know what was going on, what my options were, not making sure I was getting the proper medical treatment, not even listening to me. Mr. Brody was and is the opposite of all of that. By the time we met my case was a long, large, complicated mess. Most days I could barely even think and my mother, then in her 80s, did most of the driving. He listened to me and he explains things patiently, even if he has to do it over and over, which he had to because of my pain level, all the meds I was on and even because I was just worn out and depressed. I also lucked into an excellent doctor, after seeing many who didn't even believe I was in pain, and between the two of them they fought for me. It was over 11 years before my evil work/comp company finally relented and allowed me to get an intrathecal pump for the pain and I know Mr. Brody was a huge part of that. After the pain was at a livable, but not workable, level (meaning I still can't work,) I just wanted to be done with it and settle. I was physically and emotionally exhausted. He wouldn't let me. He kept saying, "I think we can get more money." He wasn't saying this because he wanted more money, he was saying that because he knew better than I did that I would need it. Six and a half more years later, the settlement amount was definitely more, and I'm so glad he wouldn't let me quit because even with the three times what I was willing to settle for, I now see it still wasn't enough. My case was over 17 years long before we settled. So thank God he fought some more. Over five years later I had some glitch with Social Security and they wanted numbers and dates that I just didn't have and couldn't remember. I called Mr. Brody's office, hoping he hadn't retired, for the info. I left a message and he returned my call less than 24 hours later. I faxed him some info from Social Security and just hours after that he calls me back with the information I needed. If you have a work related injury, call this man. You can't do any better. He will fight for you and he truly cares, as well.

My case has been a real mind twister of doctors attorney's and very challenging medical problems related to my injury after fall thru an opening on a new constructed office building here in San Diego caused from a poor call, get back to work after a rainy morning on slippery decking. I was facing an extremely difficult military divorce case. The order I had included a wrong division of military pension, it also directed me to vacate my home, and put my home up for sale all within a very short period of time.
I was also facing losing my share of the military pension, and I was especially facing trying to find a new home for me and my children, at a time when housing cost has skyrocketed in San Diego.

Absolutely loved having Steven as my attorney. I had to unfortunately seek assistance with a divorce and Steven gave me a great initial consultation where we were not only able to talk about options, but put a plan in place for how we’d like to go forward (I came prepared with financial and asset information). The consultation was two hours long and he didn’t even charge for that first consultation. As things progressed Steven was able to quickly prepare documents and was able to continue to provide legal counsel when it was required - even ad hoc. This review is long overdue. A dissolution is an extremely emotional and draining process period. I was sitting at a red light, waiting to turn left. Click click click went my turn signal. I had just left the gym and I was tired. And a big zoned out. All of a sudden there was a loud noise and my whole body rolled forward and down. At first I didn't realize what had happened. And then I looked in my rear view mirror and saw the reflection of my brake lights on the vehicle behind me. Which was far too close. At first it didn't make sense. Then I realized I had been rear-ended.
I got out of my car, got the driver's information, went home and my neck really started hurting. A friend had recommended Matt Clendenin so I called him. He told me to seek medical treatment right away and that he would take care of everything. It took a couple treatments, but I got my whiplash taken care of. Next I had my car evaluated and repaired. Matt was able to get everything covered - both my medical care and my car repairs with very little effort from me. I never had to appear in court.
