I had a complicated immigration issue. I came to the US in the late 80's as a tourist and never left. I was petitioned by my father who was a US citizen, unfortunately he passed away before my case was resolved. No matter how hard I tried and despite my college degree and professional background, I did not get very far in my job hunt using a ridiculously obvious fake green card . In my desperation, after many years of doing odd jobs, I misrepresented myself just so I can get a temporary work permit (a decision that I soon deeply regretted!) For while the work permit enabled to land a decent job, It became the primary reason why 2 prominent immigration lawyers in Los Angeles refused to take my case. The "misrepresentation" extended into many aspects of my life: I claimed US citizenship in filing my taxes, buying a home, attending classes, etc. I stayed at my job for many years - until E-verify forced me to resign. All of a sudden, I had nowhere to go. So despite my prior uneventful consultations with immigration lawyers, I decided to try it one last time.
Atty. Marquez was assigned to handle my case. She acknowledged that my case was unusually complex. But unlike other lawyers who did not show any interest in finding a solution, she took my case and attacked the problem at every possible angle. The preparation of the documents was very challenging and took me several months to complete. In the end she was able to come out with a very compelling presentation that was honest and thorough, and addresses all the possible scenarios that could prevent me from getting a Permanent resident visa.
I liked her because she was very professional, she never gave me any false assurances, she never gave up on me even when I was feeling discouraged and she was always there when I needed her.
I got my GREEN CARD yesterday (August 22, 2014)!

I hired Mark for my employment based green card application. First we talked on the phone as a free consultation session and then I hired him. He was very professional and excellent in communication. He guided me through the process and it felt very smooth. He gave me guidelines for the recommendation letters and he told which documents I need to gather. He prepared a long and excellent cover letter which would have been a big stress if I had done it by myself. He finally prepared and submitted all the necessary forms. Mark was my lawyer from mid 2015 to mid 2017 representing me for my EB2 NIW case with USCIS. During that period he helped me greatly with assembling my EB2 NIW case; he was very helpful in composing my personal EB2 letter and the templates for the recommendation letters, as well as with all the other documents. Michael Quade and team are the only lawyers in San Diego you should be contacting if you have an insurance claim. Our home incurred major structural damage due to a fire in 2009. Our insurance company had a different take on the matter and refused to pay what we needed to make the repairs. Our litigation was a long process and we believe other attorneys would have told us to “give up” and move on. Not Mike. He was there every step of the way. And we had a good result. His team is incredibly thorough –not a detail was overlooked (which can easily happen with a big lawsuit). When it came time to prepare for trial, he did his homework and no stone was left unturned. Mike’s deposition technique is masterful and he was able to uncover many lies and subterfuges. There are many who will say that all lawyers are alike. Michael Quade and team at Quade & Associates were highly recommended to me by a colleague when I needed an attorney. I got arrested for a federal case on transporting illegal aliens on December of 2019 on my first appearance with my public defender that the court assign me she told me straight up that she wouldn't be able to get me bailed out, until we had court in San Diego in front of the judge that next day I had court again but at that time my brother's hired Attorney Jack J. Boltax that first thing he said to me on the interview in jail, he said we will get you out today, and that's what he did and with a lower bail. This attorney Jack J boltax doesn't play games, or loose time. The D.A put me at level ||| and a offense level 18 I was looking at real time 33-41 months the first 3 weeks he drop my level to 12 that was about a year in jail. He always said to me that he got my back. He would tell me that there was nothing to be nervous about and he proved to me everything the day of my sentence. On my sentence day I got 80 days in jail and to complete those days over weekends now I can still be working outside and support my family. Boltax was able to fight the deal and he got it for me. I truly , truly recommend this Attorney Jack J boltax he fights for you till the end his an excellent attorney with awesome knowledge to defend your case.

I needed an attorney to assist with a pseudo-domestic issue and Ashley was extremely professional, diligent, and helped to keep the costs down as well. I hired Michael to help me with a legal matter (a business where I had been storing valuables absconded with my property and sold it! And we had to sue him to try to get my money back), and after working with him to a very successful conclusion of this legal case, I cannot find enough good things to say about the GREAT GREAT job Michael did.
He managed to negotiate a very satisfactory settlement for me that I thought was quite fair value given the reality of what was legally do-able. I believe it was his experience in the law that enabled him to do this, and as well I was very happy in the way Michael worked with me….good communication, good service and in my opinion very fair pricing considering the amount of work he did.

I was reffered to her by my friend, and I had very complex case and you do not want to know how much I was sued. In my head I was getting ready for bankruptcy until I met her. She look at my case and wrote very small amount on the paper and said to me, are you comfortable with this amount? I said yes and guess what after the stellement I am paying that small amount. We are a very small business that doesn't make a whole lot of money, a large competitor decided to infiltrate our company, steal trade secrets, slander us online and file a frivolous suit against us. We hired an attorney that did a lot of damage to our case and ran our bill up to around $40,000. 90% of it for unnecessary research and communications (mainly with us over billing). We ran asap and were lucky enough to find Ms. Kazemi. She repaired the serious mistakes in our case unbelievably fast when time was running out, and has been extremely fair and understanding regarding cost. We could not ask for a better attorney. She saved us from going completely out of business and has fought hard for us, negotiated well, always communicated with us to tell us what's gone on and really listened to us when we had questions or explanations about anything. Two years ago I was seriously rear ended on the freeway and my neck and shoulder took the majority of impact. After the accident I sought out legal counsel with 3 attorneys. And I will be honest, I was originally apprehensive to file a claim using an attorney. I did not want to get into a situation where my attorney would exaggerate my condition and accident just to get more money. I like to consider myself an honest person and I couldn't live with myself if I got strung into something that made me feel dishonest after. I needed medical treatments, I deserved compensation, but I was scared bringing in an attorney would snowball and get out of control. After discussing my car accident with the 3 different attorneys only one made me feel comfortable, Shahbaz.
Shahbaz and his talented paralegal Amanda became my legal dream team. I was never once pressured to do anything I did not feel comfortable doing. They listened to me, they understood what it was that I was looking for and they delivered. Any time I had questions or wanted an update they would respond within 24 hours by text, email or phone call. Insurance cases are known to move slowly and seem to take forever, so even if the update was that there was no update I appreciated not having to wait to get the response.
Considering I initially went into this claim with no major expectations of getting more than my medical bills covered and maybe a little for the trouble, Shahbaz was able to get the policy limit of the man who hit me and we settled for $50,000. It is no secret that in the current world we live in insurance companies are paying out less and less or simply refuse to pay. Shahbaz fought hard against the insurance company and got me what I never could have done alone.
