They’d drag out the case and keep making things difficult that shouldn’t be. Would charge per email and send three to five emails for the same information that had already been supplied to them and charge for all of the emails. Totally take advantage of people and overcharge. Worst experience.

My wife and I have been working with her oldest brother (85 yrs old) to help him with a Will and a Living Trust. For the past 3 years we have traveled from our home in Durand Mi. to San Diego to provide him with advice and provide any help he may need to get everything right. The more we worked the more complicated and confusing this procedure became, OMG were we Stumped. This year we decided we needed professional help. So, what do you do when your 2000 miles away and don't really know anybody in a big city like San Diego, GOOGLE IT! That's exactly what we did and came up with a bunch of names of attorneys that claim to be the best anywhere. We started making calls to see who we liked the best and would be able to take care of our issues. We left voice mails and asked to have someone contact us to set up a meeting. We encountered a few who were vague and after listening to what we needed really didn’t seem too interested. Then Jason, called us and we were so happy with his attitude and wiliness to complete the needed documents on a very short notice. Everyone in that firm seemed to want to help us get everything right, signed, and registered they even worked through the weekend. So, we could rest assured that we wouldn't be caught up in a nightmare with the probate courts. Thank you, Jason, and Ashley what a great feeling to know we made the right decision when we chose you

The team was amazing in helping us with our will and trust! They were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, supportive and patient with us as we figure out the best path forward to suit some of our very particular needs. It’s obviously not a fun or easy topic to discuss and they were so understanding of that giving us options and suggestions that could be relevant to us. And allowing us the time we needed to sort things out amongst our family. Sometimes we wouldn’t be able to resolve things easily so we would be at a standstill for a while between me and my husband but they were great about checking in regularly without creating any additional pressure. We also had some personal and particular road blocks that we come up against and Ashley was wonderful in giving us options and guidance around that. Both she and Jason were so kind and personable and professional. We had talked to several places before coming here and I’m so glad we did!

My husband and I called the law offices of David Chesney at his first court date they were super kind over the phone explained everything to us took our payment over the phone partial and let us make payments as the case was going forward any questions that we had we were answered promptly. They even called us and did a follow-up a few months later to see how we were doing. I hope I don't ever have to use them again, but if for some reason we do definitely will. will also recommend them to family and friends if needed

My grandson was involved in an incident in which he was arrested and booked for some very serious felony and misdemeanor charges . A gun, under the influence and drugs and a vandalism charge was very concerning. We were so fortunate to have obtained Mr. Babcock as his attorney to represent him. Relying on a personal friend for a recommendation and reading the positive reviews we could not have been more pleased with our decision to retain his services. All reviews are true to his representation as he was always in touch with us every step of the way. He asked all the right questions and had all the right answers. His recommendations to us were followed to ensure that our cooperation would help with a successful outcome for my grandsons court appearance. This week when we appeared for the court appearance Mr. Babcock came out of judges chambers after discussing the case with the judge and the DA . He gave us the good news that the felony charges were dropped and now reduced to two misdemeanor charges! No drug charge and there would be NO jail time. One year probation with no need to report but to submit proof back to the courts within 6 months of 40 hours community service, attend 25 DA meetings and take a gun safety course Restriction for not having a gun for one year probation period and his confiscated gun would be destroyed. He will pay a fine for the vandalism damage as requested by the homeowner and a minimal $150 for court fine. We could have not asked for a better outcome. Our many thanks to him for saving a young man from time in jail or prison. He will now go on to look back on this and be thankful that he was represented by someone who cared about his future.

Russell Babcock and Logan Noblin What can I say about Russell and Logan, along with Anna Yum and the rest of the incredible team....they saved my life and got me back home to my family! From the start Russell was very skeptical and realistic of my charges, and the likelihood that things would go my way. As our relationship grew and more details and facts about the case came out, things slowly started to change. He and Logan really started to believe in me. As the case kept going, with the DAs reluctance to see this for what it was, Russell, Logan and Anna, continued to have the difficult talks of the realities and risks of continuing on towards trial, and not agreeing to take a plea deal for something I was innocent of. I appreciated their willingness to have the hard talks. It was an incredibly horrible position to be in, but with their belief in me, it helped me push forward. Unfortunately the DA did push things to trial. Right from the start of trial, I couldn't help but feel confident. From Russell's unmatched experience, and his incredible mind that is always thinking of every angle and working non stop, to Logan's cool, calm presence and complete control of the courtroom. They were the perfect team! They bounced questions and ideas off each other the entire trial. Their preparation showed every step of the way. They were always courteous to the judge, related things to jurors, had great questioning of the witnesses, and came out on top with every exchange with the DA. Results were unanimous,not guilty verdict within one hour of deliberations! Russell and Logan were total rock stars from start to finish. Anna Yum was amazing and knew exactly the right pair to assign to take on my case. 5 stars in every way!! I would not only refer them to anyone I know that finds themselves needing a defense lawyer, but I would not let them go with anyone else! Due to my medical condition and the business environment, I got to a point where I couldn't make credit card payments anymore. So I didn't. But I don't really understand the paperwork system so I just let it be. After 3 years, a judgment was entered against me. So I can't simply avoid the situation like I have been doing. Which is a big mistake by the way (I should have taken care of this in the first year). But live and learn.
So I did internet research and found that bankruptcy was my best (and probably only) option. So I could try to file bankruptcy papers myself and save money - which I don't recommend. Why? Because I am going to get buried in paperwork and if I fill things out incorrectly... who knows what outcome I will get or how long it will take to get my discharge.
So I called 6 attorneys. Prices in San Diego vary from $1000-$2500. Funny thing is - all the attorneys are providing the same service. So, what do you do? Are you sure the most expensive attorney is the best? Do you really want to go with the cheapest legal center - that office that has 5 different attorneys pumping out bankruptcies - and you interact with the paralegal and not the attorney.
I wanted someone honest and reliable. Linda was not the cheapest but she was affordable. She was very articulate over the phone, so I think that is what sold me. Some of the attorneys play $ games. They quote a high price but will negotiate downward. With Linda - you don't have to do that. She gives you the right price from the first phone call. So - she may seem a little bit cheaper but she is about the same price as the others that are playing games by starting out artificially high with the quoted fee.
But I don't want an attorney who plays games. I want someone who is honest and straightforward. I want my attorney to be honest with me, and honest with the bankruptcy trustee. So I went with Linda, and I am glad I did.
Linda can be reached any time you need her - either by phone or by email (whatever you like) - and she is just a down to earth hard working family woman. Linda knows the law and is very good with paperwork. She is accurate and precise. She has an assistant Tammy who was also very reliable in my interactions with her. Both Linda and Tammy answered all my emails and phone calls promptly and thoroughly. Which means... no stress... at all.
Linda helped me write the paperwork. She is needed because the bankruptcy court expects things to look a certain way. For example - I can't write that my monthly food expense is $1000. The system doesn't allow it. So we had to lower it to $300. Now, how am I going to eat on $300/month when one single burrito at Roberto's taco shop is $12?? That's why I need Linda. Because the court system is based on the rules of paperwork and not the rules of reality.
I needed to get my bankruptcy paperwork in fast because I started to worry that the judgment creditor may come after my car. So... I asked Linda how fast she could do it? She said she will do what it takes to help me. So Linda took time away from her kids to meet with me in her law office in Downtown San Diego late in the evening. We filled out the paperwork together and nailed it!
From there - the process unfolded seamlessly and I think it was about 3 months total before my discharge. That's the fastest it can be done due to court timeline and procedures.
Go with Linda and do it right. I'm sure there are other good bankruptcy lawyers in San Diego, but - based on my experience with Ms. Mcaleer - I tell you no one could have done it better.

As many of you Veterans may know the claims process can be long and arduous and even painful at times. I had been wrestling with the VA and their claims process for many years before throwing my hands in the air. I saw a Facebook ad for Cameron firm, and at that point, I had all but given up. I kept seeing their Facebook ad come up, and I’m not sure what made me dig a little deeper, but I decided to read some of the comments that were below, and the feedback was so great I decided to give them a chance. The result was more than I could ever of hope for. for some reason the process goes better when you have attorneys adept at wrestling the VA for you. LONG STORY SHORT - Do not waste your time if you have denied VA claims. Best attorney. Mary Brown-Edokpayi at Veteran's Appeal took my claims and now I have TDIU. I received benefits after the wrongful denials. I have been fighting for my VA. Disability from 2018. I would recommend all veteran to seek Mary Brown-Edokpayi for assistance with disability claims.

Like many Veterans, I filed a claim with the VA for a host of illnesses, to include two bouts of kidney cancer, which resulted in the removal of half of my right kidney and complete removal of my left. As a result, I have been on daily dialysis for the past two + years. After receiving the VA rejection letter, I spoke with an old Air Force buddy and close friend who several years ago also filed and was rejected. He told me that after fighting the VA for nearly five years, he reached out to Attorney Eagle. Attorney Eagle took his case and began the appeal process which resulted in a 100 % service connected ruling from the VA. I put off calling her and my buddy kept pestering me to pick up the phone and to give her a call. Finally, I quit stalling and gave her a call. I knew within the first minute of speaking with her that she was a fighter and that her mission in life is helping Veterans like my buddy and I to get the benefits we deserved. I served in United States Air Force from 1970 – 1974. I was stationed at Anderson Air Force Base in Guam from 1971-1973, as fuel specialist. During that time, I was exposed to many different toxic chemicals including Agent Orange. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2011 and then two years later with thyroid cancer, the residual effects dramatically affected not only me but my family. After speaking with a representative for the Missouri Veterans Commission, I submitted a claim for exposure to Agent Orange. That claim was immediately denied. After this denial, the representative suggested I seek legal representation and was given the name of Katrina Eagle, Esq. Veterans Law Attorney. Little did I know then the dedication, tenacity and compassion this woman would show me for the next ten years! Over the course of the last ten years, numerous denials, frustrations and moments of utter disappointment and lack of the energy to continue this fight occurred, however Katrina was always there never wavering in her support and encouragement to not give up the fight. The Board of Veterans Affairs (BVA) denied our claims several times, the cases were then submitted to the US Courts of Appeals not once but twice and both times the Courts sent them back to the BVA for review. Thanks to Katrina and Jim Radogna’s continued support, knowledge and empathy for me, I am now at 100% disability. Never could I have imagined this outcome and will forever be thankful for their continuous support and encouragement to never give up the fight!
