When suffering injuries after an accident, the last thing you want to worry about is if you will be able to find a decent lawyer that will take care of you; not their pocketbook. You can’t find a more caring lawyer than Natalie Prescott. In court she comforted me and even held my hand to get me through, yet she was tough and competent and won my case. I could not have asked for more, you don’t usually get a nice person and a great case winning lawyer in one package. She made the experience of going to court and getting interrogated by the opposing side (which I had been dreading) completely tolerable. Her integrity was obvious to the jury which helped our case; she was clearly a step above the other lawyers. We can’t say enough great things about Marc Witham. He is professional, responsive, and has excellent follow-through. Most important, he is highly knowledgeable of California state rental laws so he’s well qualified to put landlords in their place.
In our case, my wife and I had lived in a rental house for seven years and always had a good relationship with the landlord. Due to an undiscovered water leak, the wood floors in the house began to heave and buckle over the course of a month. The landlord’s handyman removed a section of flooring and we observed white mold covering the dirt crawl space. The entire floor needed to be removed and the mold remediated. Rather than work with us to temporarily move out, the landlord sent us an email stating she had no choice but to evict us.
We’re certain the true reason she evicted us was to substantially increase the rent. The effect on us was that we were pushed into a highly inflated San Diego rental market, with rents at 30% and higher than what we’d been paying. Panic set in the moment we received the 60-day notice.
When we were evicted, our stress levels reached boiling point as our landlord kept calling us daily to find out when we’d be moving. We needed help right away. Marc’s online appointment system let us set up an initial consultation (we were able to schedule a call the very next morning). As residential tenants, it cost us $160 for our first call. That may seem like a lot, but the waves of relief we felt afterward made it well worth the money.
It’s the relief from stress that we appreciated most. What we really needed was enough time to find a new rental. On that first call, after hearing our situation Marc was immediately able to cite a state code section that granted us far longer than the landlord’s 60-day notice. He also advised that her notice wouldn’t hold up because it wasn’t properly formatted or delivered. It was clear we were working with the right attorney for the job.
Our rental situation dragged on for over two months, and we spent just under $1,000 in attorney fees. It was worth every cent. Marc initially issued a detailed letter, filled with legal citations specific to our case (i.e., not a form letter), that pushed back on the landlord. When she kept calling us, which we considered harassment at that point, Marc intervened again and asserted he was now acting as our voice, stating all communications needed to go through him. Words can’t express the relief we felt.
Not only did Marc get us the time we needed to find a new place, he also helped negotiate an equitable settlement so we could recoup expenses we’d suffered. We’re not talking millions here, but it was enough to ease the pain and cover our moving costs.
If you’re in a bind with your landlord, I would highly suggest Marc’s services. My wife and I remain confident that hiring Marc was the smartest move we possibly could have done. – Kurt S.

I met Douglas through a referral by my friend. I never thought I would be needing his help but when my vehicle (SUV) gave me headaches , I said I must call Douglas. The minute I told him my case and the times my van broke down, he was eager and was really willing to help me. I told him that I needed to talk to my husband first and so, we patiently waited for him. Though my husband was a bit irritable because I was stuck again in the repair shop for the fifth time, Douglas didn't lose his professionalism. He was giving us advice in a professional way.
When the case was going on, he gave us updates from time to time and we were very thankful that he was very transparent with us. Words cannot describe how happy I am that I chose Greg to represent me. I started out with a potential commercial burglary case after making some bad decisions at a Home Depot in San Diego. My wife and I were charged with a crime for non-permitted rental real estate. The non-permitted portion of the home was built between 1969 and 1978. The city made us either tear down 1/4 of the house or bring it up to code.
Though Greg is not a real-estate specialist but, he has all the right connections. He advised us how to get through the legal battle by bringing the house up to code. And, while re-construction proceeded, he kept on top of all legal matters with the city.
In the end, the city settled the matter much to our satisfaction. And, he didn't nickel and dime us in the process.

Steven Bronson genuinely cares about his clients and once you meet him that is evident! He is honest and trustworthy; he is not only a super attorney but he is also a really great guy. He recently represented 16 plaintiffs in a lead injury case and was able to gain justice for each of the plaintiffs, who suffered from ADHD, behavioral disorders and other neurological disorders caused from the lead. My business partners and I had been investing in real estate for several years when we decided to expand the business by raising equity from investors. One of my former classmates from The Wharton School referred me to Aman. Aman helped us structure and form our new management company as well as a new private equity fund. It is amazing how quickly Bill can sift through all of information involved with a case and hone in on the salient points to reach accurate conclusions and devise a plan of action. One of the things I appreciate the most is that he takes time to explain the issues and points of law and how they apply to the case. It is a great example of why attorneys are often referred to as counselors.
Bill is always well prepared and conducts himself in an ethical and professional manor. When he is working on one of our cases, I believe I am receiving the best representation possible.

Bill was the litigator for an ERISA plan , in which the former trustees had breached their fiduciary duties. Bill's performance in this role was outstanding because he was always extremely prepared and immediately responsive during the trial. For example one witness and one defendant testified falsely and Bill immediately referred them to admitted trial documents which proved their testimony was false. The defendant who testified falsely admitted his previous statement was "probably wrong". The judge in Federal Court ultimately ruled in our favor on the main issue in the case. A very important fact upon which he based this ruling was that this defendant's testimony was not true and this led the judge to rule in our favor on this primary issue.

I had a tax situation that Mr. Demas helped me resolve with his excellent advice. I appreciated his willingness to listen and not judge. He provided prompt and courteous responses to my questions. Christopher gave me an initial consultation in regards to a credit collection litigation and, even though I wasn't able to pay him for this, I find that his approach is sincere and he seems like he is really trying to help others who need legal advice. I, for instance, got an instant reply after calling his voice mail and he told me to come in for a free consultation. After he understood my situation, he confronted me with options and insisted that I didn't need an attorney because the costs would overbear the amount of the lawsuit if it is settled. So, I find that he gave straightforward advice and I thank him for being truthful.
To summarize, Christopher is a lawyer who would tell his/her client whether that client really needs his service or not. If not, then he would tell that client so. I find his help very satisfactory and I highly recommend him, so don't be afraid to call. His initial consultation is free.
