Webb Law helped me with a simple matter, it went smoothly with the other party and required about half the estimated amount of effort. Webb Law inflated the billing hours to consume 100% of the retainer. A planned meeting with one $250/hr employee was attended by three people billing nearly a combined $1k/hr, their attendance was not necessary and did not add value. Sending me a boilerplate document was billed at 2 hours. I contacted them about my concerns and they dismissed them and offered legal mediation as the only resolve. If you choose to use Webb Law be very clear about who you are meeting with, what their cost is, and how long it will take.

Su represented me as my defense in an extremely difficult and high stakes 2.5-year case that ended in trial. Plaintiff, plaintiffs counsel and plaintiffs peers conspired to embellish and fabricate “new facts” for a favorable outcome and Su was able to expose Plaintiffs embellishments and craft an impressive argument around conduct and credibility that ultimately won over the jury with $0 granted to the plaintiff! On top of this, Su took my case extremely personally as if it was her being sued personally taking on a full office of plaintiffs counsel seemingly with ease. I would now consider a good friend and feel sorry for anyone with the misfortune of competing against her in the future.

I contacted Daphne though her website and completed an intake form, heard back the same week with follow up questions. I was asked to email over any documentation, I sent e-mails and screenshots from my employer. Daphne & her team quickly got back to me with guidance that truly saved me! I was discriminated against and had no idea of my rights. I was not even sure that I could contact a lawyer because it was "company policy" my best advice is to reach out with your questions/concerns and let a lawyer guide you! I would hire her 100% she was actually the 2nd lawyer that I consulted with the first one sent me an email explaining he was not interested in taking on the case/ me becoming a client, it was titled "non engagement" BEFORE I GAVE UP I reached out to Daphne & I am so thankful, just her consultation alone saved me money for the time being.

She’s been great and helped me process through my maternity leave! I had a question about how long I can take and her guide on maternity leave provided clarity! My employer stated I had 8 weeks but after consulting with Daphne she shared they were wrong and that CFRA California regulations states I had 12! I brought it up to my employer and they confirmed I had 12 (but never once brought it up as an option). I feel as moms we get taken advantaged of sometimes and I’m so glad that Daphne brought attention and highlighted my rights as a mother to a newborn.

Angelica took care of my Adjustment of Status case in the best possible way.

Mr. Golchin was my lawyer for a case which a careless driver passed the red light at a intersection and hit my car so badly. My car was totaled and I was screened by the emergency. Unfortunately, the other driver did not acknowledge her fault, initially. But becasue of high endeavors, efforts, and consistency of Mr. Golchin, the other driver's insurance take the responsibility of the accident and paid the maximum available amount for my medical expenses and etc.
Mr Golchin is available almost 24/7 for answering your concerns and providing you with the helpful advice. He replies all the emails promptly. All the paperwork were done remotely (online) and there was no need to meet him in person. I highly appreciate Mr. Golchin skills, patience, supports, and efforts for finely settling my difficult case.

In 2014, when I was stranded in Tijuana, MX after escaping political persecution in my home country (long story), I frantically looked for an immigration attorney to seek asylum in the US. I shot off emails to several SD attorneys, asking them questions the answers to which I already knew to gauge their: 1) responsiveness and 2) expertise.
You'd be surprised how often lawyers provide the wrong answers even during the first consultation. No way I'm paying a single cent to any lawyer who doesn't know the law.
It turned out that Mr Golchin was the only who responded promptly AND correctly. Not only that, he PERSONALLY TRAVELED DOWN TO MEXICO just to meet me, and this was before I even retained him. That just goes to show his sheer dedication and willingness to go the extra mile in performing his duties. He left an extremely positive impression so I retained him.
When I was in immigration detention, he worked tirelessly to liaise with ICE officers to get me released ASAP and also visited me personally. With his assistance, I was finally paroled into the US. When the time came to file for a work permit and to file for asylum (I-589), Mr Golchin prepared the necessary form and documents conscientiously and accurately so as to prevent unnecessary delays.
When I had to defend my case in court in Los Angeles, Mr Golchin traveled more than a handful of times to my city to represent me in court. Though not a loud/flamboyant lawyer, he knows the law extremely well, he makes a huge effort to acquaint himself with the facts of your case, and when arguing he adopts a deliberate, collected, yet persuasive tone to convince the immigration judge of his position. Mr Golchin and I have always prepared through Skype conferences or personal meetings right before any court appearance.
Most importantly, Mr Golchin won my case for me (I'm finally a US asylee) at first instance, and the government attorney had also promised not to appeal the decision. I think, after all said and done, this is the most important point. I wouldn't be singing praises if my case had to go to appeal. I've also always felt comfortable consulting Mr Golchin on not only immigration matters but also other legal matters. He has been of assistance to me in legal matters beyond immigration.
In short, I'd highly recommend Mr Golchin for your immigration-related matters. He's the perfect combination of legal expertise and also genuine care and attentiveness for his clients.

I was referred to Susan from the San Diego Lawyer referral service. I know lawyers are not cheap, but I have never regretted one second hiring this woman. She has been worth every penny. I had a basic my husband is a foreigner and we needed to adjust his status. But her and her office team knew right away what forms to fill out, documents I would need, etc. It is true what all the other reviews say. She does get back to you very quickly and gets things done in a timely manner. I have read that other immigration lawyers have delayed the process for other people because they take forever to respond to questions or get their paperwork done. Not this office. I have had all sorts of random question about the immigration process and things I can and can not do with my husband and she has been there every step of the way to help us. My case involved me working with a business partner with whom I had a verbal contract. I was to exchange work for a percentage of a company we would start together. As Founders, we made many sacrifices to get the company off the ground and make it successful. When I later demanded my shares in writing, my partner made excuses until finally severing the relationship and exploiting my failure to get a written contract in place.
Mr. Paschall took the time to fully understand my complicated position and presented several options that I did not know were available. In short, I didn't know my rights.
