Mr Southcott was an EXCELLENT attorney for me. I was facing felony robbery with a prison prior and I pled to restitution and a misdemeanor theft. No jail and easy probation. He was a sheriffs deputy for 20 years before becoming an attorney so he knows the system very well. I had a complicated immigration issue. I came to the US in the late 80's as a tourist and never left. I was petitioned by my father who was a US citizen, unfortunately he passed away before my case was resolved. No matter how hard I tried and despite my college degree and professional background, I did not get very far in my job hunt using a ridiculously obvious fake green card . In my desperation, after many years of doing odd jobs, I misrepresented myself just so I can get a temporary work permit (a decision that I soon deeply regretted!) For while the work permit enabled to land a decent job, It became the primary reason why 2 prominent immigration lawyers in Los Angeles refused to take my case. The "misrepresentation" extended into many aspects of my life: I claimed US citizenship in filing my taxes, buying a home, attending classes, etc. I stayed at my job for many years - until E-verify forced me to resign. All of a sudden, I had nowhere to go. So despite my prior uneventful consultations with immigration lawyers, I decided to try it one last time.
Atty. Marquez was assigned to handle my case. She acknowledged that my case was unusually complex. But unlike other lawyers who did not show any interest in finding a solution, she took my case and attacked the problem at every possible angle. The preparation of the documents was very challenging and took me several months to complete. In the end she was able to come out with a very compelling presentation that was honest and thorough, and addresses all the possible scenarios that could prevent me from getting a Permanent resident visa.
I liked her because she was very professional, she never gave me any false assurances, she never gave up on me even when I was feeling discouraged and she was always there when I needed her.
I got my GREEN CARD yesterday (August 22, 2014)!

I hired Mark for my employment based green card application. First we talked on the phone as a free consultation session and then I hired him. He was very professional and excellent in communication. He guided me through the process and it felt very smooth. He gave me guidelines for the recommendation letters and he told which documents I need to gather. He prepared a long and excellent cover letter which would have been a big stress if I had done it by myself. He finally prepared and submitted all the necessary forms. Mark was my lawyer from mid 2015 to mid 2017 representing me for my EB2 NIW case with USCIS. During that period he helped me greatly with assembling my EB2 NIW case; he was very helpful in composing my personal EB2 letter and the templates for the recommendation letters, as well as with all the other documents. I needed an attorney to assist with a pseudo-domestic issue and Ashley was extremely professional, diligent, and helped to keep the costs down as well. Her legal advice was concise and understandable to someone such as myself with little to no legal experience in this area. The best thing you can do for yourself and for your child may not just be to get a divorce, but to work with a firm that genuinely cares about your circumstances and will fight tooth and nail for you. I get emotional just reflecting on how much more I got out of my dissolution than I could have ever imagined if it weren’t for Paul, Liz, and Linda. These 3 ARE the light at the end of the tunnel.
Who you work with MATTERS, especially if you’re involved in a high-conflict divorce with children involved. Do what’s best for yourself and your children and retain this firm. I had an important question regarding probate law. I contacted my previous family law attorney, explained my situation and subsequent question to her assistant, and waited all day for a response. Her assistant called me back late afternoon with no answer to my question and the suggestion that I reach out to her partner who specializes in probate law. I was then told I’d have to wait three weeks for a zoom call to ask her partner my question.
I googled highly rated probate attorneys and stumbled upon Jenkins and Jenkins. I called, explained my question to the assistant and was put through to a cheerful Caroline Jenkins. She listened to my concern and answered my question, which enabled me to make the right decision to drop further pursuit. She also gave me a referral in case I wanted to go forward through legal channels.
Caroline, you are my hero. Admittedly, people make jokes about lawyers because many of them are just out to make a buck and will tell you the things you want to hear. When you find a lawyer like Caroline, hold on tight and save yourself from misery and financial loss.

David is a very knowledgeable and diversified attorney. As a medium sized business with locations in a number of states, we have used David in both complaints and defense cases. several years ago I received advice to start a trust for my wife's grandmother and part of that advice was that I didn't need a lawyer to execute it or implement it upon grandma'so passing. last year grandma passed away and my wife and I found ourselves lost and overwhelmed with all the paperwork and legal matters. Hi,
We had a civil litigation which was very complex. The case was involved among US/India. I spoke to several (more than 25+) attorneys in SD/Irvine/Vista/LA but I ended up in this building. Didn't knew that I was going in safest hands. Rebecca was very hard working , intelligent, highly responsive (within in few minutes) and she spent quite a lots in making sure that we are putting all facts together in best possible way. I was sued for over a million dollars for defamation from a Yelp review. I did not have the resources to fight such a massive lawsuit. I hired Michael to help me with a legal matter (a business where I had been storing valuables absconded with my property and sold it! And we had to sue him to try to get my money back), and after working with him to a very successful conclusion of this legal case, I cannot find enough good things to say about the GREAT GREAT job Michael did.
He managed to negotiate a very satisfactory settlement for me that I thought was quite fair value given the reality of what was legally do-able. I believe it was his experience in the law that enabled him to do this, and as well I was very happy in the way Michael worked with me….good communication, good service and in my opinion very fair pricing considering the amount of work he did.
